Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus said ... If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Jn. 15
If we pray according to the will of God it will be done. (If HIS word on the issue at hand abides in us and we pray according to the will of God on the matter at hand, it will be done.)
If you can't get what you want by your own prayers, why go to another person thinking that person's prayers can get for you what you can't get by prayer?
Instead consider the following if your prayer on a certain matter is not answered:
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. James 4
But if you ask according to the will of God and you belong to God your prayer will be answered. You will not need to go to groups of people to have them pray. Your prayer will be answered when it is according to the will of God.
Nevertheless, not my will but Thy will be done ...
I am always comforted knowing that right now Jesus sits at the right hand of God and prays for me ...
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8
Surely Jesus' prayer on my behalf will be answered. This gives me great comfort.
Also the Holy Spirit intercedes for me ... according to the will of God for me...
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8
And we are told, when we are troubled, we should pray ... Paul said ...
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4
Because of Jesus Christ, we go directly to God through HIM. We don't have to go to a minister or to a church group or to anyone else. We just go directly to God in prayer through Jesus Christ and HIS blood which paid for our right to the kingdom of God and our right to pray directly to God.
