Podcast: There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12)

Our own flesh and devils work together to destroy us as we follow them.  The flesh of man fights, argues, strives, and always thinks himself to be right but he destroys himself by such.

The Spirit of God will take us in the following ways of the Spirit:

Gal. 5:22-23   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.

This does not mean we go along with sin.  We state the scriptures on the matter at hand and if the person chooses to go another way, we just walk away, resisting the temptation to debate.

Titus 3:9-13   But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

(Heretic is that person who resists godly counsel and continues in an opposite way, refusing to submit to the power of the truth of the scriptures.)

After the first or second warning, walk away and live in the peace given us by God.

For the apostle Peter tells us to keep ourselves in a continual state of peace as we wait for Jesus to return to remove us from this present earth.

2 Peter 3:13-14   Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

We live in peace by committing all troublesome things to God in prayer, connecting with God this way, though prayer.

Philippians 4:6-7   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

*****

Hating people and striving with them may seem to be right to a man but really that man is following his own flesh by doing such things.

Galatians 5:19-21

19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance (to vary, debate, argue), emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

***

The apostle Paul says:

Galatians 5:16   Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

As we follow that brought to our mind by the Spirit, we will go in the way of the Spirit in the matter at hand and that way is opposite to the way of the flesh.

We win out over sin by turning from that sin and by walking away, staying in peace through that word given us by God.

***

James 3:14-16   But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.   This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

* The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace. But when their words bring grief and trouble, beware.

Comments by Joan Boney:

Recently a woman wrote me and I rejoiced in her email until I got to the last sentence and then I was grieved.

I turned to God in prayer asking for help with this.

This one sentence was some type of religious saying from her past.  I brought this to her attention and with exhortations warned her.

It is important to observe grief when we are grieved, knowing this that they say to us that grieves us is not by the Spirit of God.

Their words may be exactly right but the fruit is grief when we read their words.

God is showing us a wrong spirit lurking there in their email, though most of their email may even bring fruits of the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

Pam Padgett often says to me, "I couldn't read that email."  (The Spirit of God is protecting Pam.)

I usually find I am grieved.  I am a prophet and often have to bring correction to the individual who spoke the words in the email.

I have found many times emails grieve me!  These are emails from church people.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The Holy Spirit warns us and we, by our flesh, try to explain away that warning from the Holy Spirit.

Recently I said to Pam, "I know you have the Spirit of God ... and you know I have the Spirit of God ... don't we also know when it is not the Spirit of God speaking to us?"

In these times of the last days, I think we must perceive when it is not the Spirit of God speaking through that other person.

Jesus says:

John 10

(a parable)

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

27 MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.

29 My Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

There was a woman who was in our little church group from 1980 to 2018.  During that time, when she spoke, I was usually troubled.  It wasn't that what she said was always wrong, but I would be troubled.

Sometimes what she said was incorrect and I would correct her.

But almost each time I was troubled by what she said.

Once I was talking with another woman and this church woman was present.  This church woman said something like, "You will have to be willing to give up everything."  I was extremely troubled when the church woman said this even though her words are basically correct!

I believe the wrong spirit was speaking these words through this church woman, though at the time I didn't recognize it was the wrong spirit.  I was just troubled by her words.

John 10:5  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

In 2018, God gave me a vision showing me this same church woman was going to disappear, which she did do at the end of that same year.

I was so glad when she was gone for she brought trouble to me when she talked.

After she did disappear, she sent me an email apologizing for what she had done and she said she had no "charity" in leaving me as she did for I was in the hospital at the time she left and I was helpless, being unable even to walk.

But I told her not to be concerned for God had given me a vision showing me she was going to leave, disappearing.  (I think this surprised her.) And I told her I was glad she left because she brought trouble to me during the previous 39 years.

I think it likely shocked her, though she knew what I said was true.

It just can't be the Spirit of God when they trouble us this way by their words.  There is another spirit at work in them even though they say the "right" words and they claim to be Christians.

Hymn: Standing on the promises

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,

Standing on the promises of God.

Chorus:

Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of
Christ my Savior;
Standing, standing,

I’m standing on the promises of God.

2.   Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,

Standing on the promises of God.

3.  Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,

Standing on the promises of God.

4.  Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,

Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.

5.  Standing on the promises I shall not fall,
List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call.
Resting in my Savior as my All in all,

Standing on the promises of God.

*****

The following scripture pertains to this hymn:

Joshua 1:5   I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 28:20   lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

***

v. 2   By the living Word of God I shall prevail,

The living word is that word that comes down to us from heaven.  It is put into our mind by God by HIS Spirit, by the Spirit of Jesus.  By this "living word" we know what to do.

John 6   Jesus says:

32-33   My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

48-51   I (The Word) am that bread of life.  Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.  I am the living bread which came down from heaven:

Jesus, The Word, is the Word that comes down from heaven.  The living word of God is the word spoken to us by the Spirit of God.  By His Spirit, God will bring to our mind ideas that show us what to do, or scriptures which show us what to do.  And when it is that Word of God, it will never fail.  We can put our trust in what we have heard from God by His Spirit.

The living word of God is just exactly that, living, because it pertains to the exact subject we are dealing with at that moment in time.

We
can hunt for a scripture and fail. Or we can try to figure out what to do and fail.

But we will not fail when it is the Holy Spirit bringing the concept or a scripture to our mind to guide us in the matter at hand.

***

Here are promises from Jesus concerning the work the Holy Spirit will do for us.

John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13    Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself (of His own thinking); but whatsoever He shall hear (from God), that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

4 things the Holy Spirit does for the believer:

- HE teaches us all things. (secular and spiritual)
- HE reminds us of all Jesus has said to us through scripture, dreams, concepts
- HE guides us into all truth.  (often one thing at a time ... you do the first thing ... then a second idea comes and you do that ... on until the matter is resolved)
- HE shows us things to come.  (often by dreams ... sometimes by just knowing)

***

v. 3   Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,

We are freed every time we have a word from God brought to our mind by His Spirit, and when we believe and act on that word in the midst of the trial or temptation.

***

v. 4   Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,

God speaks to each of His children by His Spirit which lives inside each child.  The Holy Spirit brings thoughts from God to our minds to show us the way of God and the will of God as we live on this earth.

We overcome the trials and temptations of this present earth as we hear from the Holy Spirit daily, and take appropriate action to the instruction given by the Spirit.

You do have to be careful.  For the devil will try to imitate God and bring thoughts to your mind which are opposite to the way God wants you to go.  And often our own fleshly preferences will bring thoughts to us which seem good to us, but are opposite to the way God wants us to go.

James 3:14-16   ... But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

So if that is the case, you must repent and pray for God to correct your own heart.  For you will not likely to be able to hear correctly until you are corrected.

Otherwise:  Prove all things by prayer and Bible.  If you will ask God to confirm the way to go and to make it clear to you which thought is HIS, and if you will take time before you act, it will be made clear to you which thought is from God.  Also in the Bible we have a scripture which tells us how to recognize the wisdom that is from God.

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

***

v. 5   List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call.
Resting in my Savior as my All in all,

Once we have established that a thought is from God, we must focus on that thought and rest in that word that we have heard from God concerning the matter at hand after doing that instruction in an appropriate way.  Often, we have to keep that word before us day and night to be strong enough to continue in that direction.

Joshua 1:8-9   This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Have not I commanded thee?

(When God brings a word to our mind by HIS Spirit or when a scripture is made to stand out to us, that is God "commanding" us and we think on that word, taking action when needed, according to that word.)

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Podcast: The elect of God. What New Testament Bible says

Jesus is coming to gather the elect of God and take them off this earth to that new heaven and new earth which is created by God for the elect of God.

Jesus says:  Mt. 24:29-31  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The elect of God are those persons chosen by God for salvation.  Those persons to whom God reveals HIMSELF.  Those persons who are instantly changed by God into new creatures, not by their own will or by their own works, but by God's will.

This is explained in Romans 9 and Ephesians 1.

* The fortunetelling girl who spoke the right thing but by the wrong spirit. Paul would not allow this.

Comments by Joan Boney:

In all things, we must speak by the right Spirit, by that Holy Spirit of God.

Here is a very interesting example:

Acts 16:16-18  And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Notice that everything this girl said was correct.

But she said this by the wrong spirit.

Paul would have none of this wrong spirit.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I have seen this type of thing.  I have received emails from religious people who speak "correct things" but by the wrong spirit and I find their words grieve me.

I was in Europe in 1980 with a church friend.  She and her husband had many years experience ministering in Europe.  She said to me, "You must be very sensitive to the spirit by which they are speaking."

I had only a few years of experience as a Christian and I really didn't understand what she was saying to me but I knew she was right.

Today I often am shown there is a wrong spirit speaking when people come to me saying they are Christians.

In these end times, I think it is important for us to recognize that spirit by which people write and speak.

Lately I have often prayed that I not be deceived nor deluded by them.

For there will be much delusion coming and many will be deceived by those who say Jesus is Lord.

Jesus warned us:

Mt. 24:3-5   And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

* Working to keep your salvation.

Comments by Joan Boney:

A few nights ago, I noticed a movie concerning a small Texas town set in the 1950's.    I set my recorder planning to watch that movie later for it came on about 10:30 pm and I usually check the next day's blog at that time.

But I decided to see a few minutes of the movie before it was time to check the blog.

I enjoyed the way the move began and the dialogue in the opening scenes.  But rather quickly sexual implications began to surface and as the show went on it was far more graphic.

I finally stopped looking at the movie and deleted it from my recordings.

Then I began checking the blog to see that it was publishing in a satisfactory way.  But I found I couldn't focus on the scriptures presented which concerned homosexuals/lesbians and divorce/remarriage.

I stopped reading the blog and began talking to God, confessing what I believe which is in the Bible and thanking God for my salvation and how HE spoke to me and changed my life in 1975.

I went back to the blog and found some life had returned as I read those scriptures.

I stopped again and spoke to God about many of the things HE has done for me.

I read the blog a third time and there was more life than the second.

I read the blog again and it was strong with life this time.

I believe we work to hold onto to the Bible and that which we believe and are assured of.

Hymn: Praise Him, Praise Him, Jesus our blessed redeemer

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!

Sing, ye saints! His wonderful love proclaim!

Hail Him! hail Him! mightiest angels in glory;

Strength and honor give to His holy name!

Like a shepherd, Jesus will feed His people,

In His WORD He carries them all day long;

O ye saints that live in the light of His presence,

Praise Him! praise Him!
ever in joyful song!

2.  Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,

For our sins He suffered and bled and died;

He, our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation,

Hail Him! hail Him!
Jesus, the Crucified;

Loving Savior, meekly enduring sorrow,

Crowned with thorns that cruelly pierced His brow;
Once for us rejected, despised, and forsaken,

Prince of Glory, ever triumphant now.

3.   Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,

Heavenly portals, loud with hosannahs ring!
(portal:  doorway, way in, way out)

Jesus, Savior, reigneth for ever and ever;

Crown Him! crown Him!
Prophet and Priest and King!

Death is vanquished!

Tell it with joy, ye faithful,
Where is now thy victory, boasting grave?

Jesus lives!

No longer thy portals are cheerless;
Jesus lives, the mighty and strong to save.

Scripture pertaining to this hymn:

Romans 5:5-9     the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

(We didn't shed our blood for our sins, but Jesus shed His blood to pay for our sins ... without shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins  Hebrews 9:22 ... we cannot hope to pay for our sins and our wrong actions by our good works ... only by shed blood are we redeemed from sin and cleansed)

Revelation 5:1-14   And I saw in the right hand of HIM that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

And HE came and took the book out of the right hand of HIM that sat upon the throne.

And when HE had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, THOU art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for THOU wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by THY blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto HIM that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped HIM that liveth for ever and ever.

Luke 24:1-8   Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

(The dead human body decays and stinks. They brought spices to cover the odor of death. But God was not going to suffer the body of Jesus to see corruption as other flesh sees corruption.)

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

HE is not here, but is risen: remember how HE spake unto you when HE was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

And they remembered HIS words,

Podcast: Do we support sin? God forbid!

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

A friend is one who supports you in that which you are doing.

***

Recently a woman asked me:  "Do you support Gay's and Lesbians?"

My reply:  "No!"

(I sent to her scriptures from both Old and New Testaments and told her, "This is God's view of homosexuals and lesbians and I support God's view of homosexuals and lesbians.")

And I sent the following scripture and several other scriptures to her.

Romans 1:26-28  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

This woman has not come to my house to "visit" since I responded to her.

If the unbeliever depart, let him depart.

This is the best way I know to separate in peace from the unbeliever, speak God's truth on the subject at hand when you are with the unbeliever and the subject surfaces.

Also we keep ourselves from being deceived by thinking we can have "fellowship" in the spirit with them when one has the Spirit of God and the other has the spirit of the world and the spirit of the various church denominations.

It is the elect of God we are interested in identifying for they have the Spirit of God as we do.

***

Do I support the churches where pastors perform wedding ceremonies between a divorced woman and a man?

I do not support these churches for Jesus said:  "Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."

(Mt. 5:32  Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.)

***

Do I support churches where they teach the divorced woman that she can remarry?

"No."  Multiple scriptures show that the divorced woman who remarries while her husband is still living is an adulteress.

Romans 7:2-3  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

I Corinthians 7:39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Mark. 10:6-12    Jesus says:  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;  8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter.

11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

I am a Christian.  I support the elect of God who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God,  those who live by the Bible, and those who demonstrate that they pray and follow the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Scriptures.

Paul said concerning those who show a form of godliness but deny the power of God, just turn away from such.  That is what I do when I encounter such persons.  (2 Tim. 3:5)

But if I do encounter them, I speak as the door opens in the conversation to speak, I speak the word of God to them.

I believe we must begin to distinguish between "the elect of God" and church goers for these are not the same.  Many are church goers, putting themselves into the church by their own will.  The elect of God are those persons chosen by God to whom God has revealed HIS truth and they have the Holy Spirit living inside of them.

Notice these scriptures in the NT Bible where the term "elect" is used.

2 John 1:13  The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Romans 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Luke 18:7  And shall not God avenge HIS own elect, which cry day and night unto HIM, though HE bear long with them?

2 Timothy 2:10  Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

2 John 1:1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom HE hath chosen, HE hath shortened the days.

Matthew 24:31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:27 And then shall HE send HIS angels, and shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

The elect of God are those who are chosen by God and God has revealed HIS truth to them, causing them to be born again by HIS Spirit and they are changed by God into new creatures immediately.

2 Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Has this happened to you?

Only God can do this.

(I suggest you fall down before God asking God to please have mercy on you if you have not had this experience with God.)

* Jesus sends HIS angels to gather "the elect of God".

Comments by Joan Boney:

The "elect of God" are those persons to whom God has revealed HIMSELF and has given HIS Holy Spirit to teach and guide them as they live on this earth.

They are born again by God, not by the will of man nor by their own will.

Some people go forth at meetings and "accept Jesus".  They are not usually the called of God but they are called by ministers, and humans, and they put themselves into the church without being called by God and without having been given the Spirit of God.  (But they think they are Christians.)

Jude v. 17-19   But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18 How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators/copiers) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

They put themselves into the church and into the ministries without having the Spirit and without the call of God.

They try to be holy but without having the Spirit of God.  They try to make themselves into people of God.

God did not add them to the church.  They added themselves upon invitation of fleshly ministers.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The elect of God are called by God and added to the church by God.

Romans 1:6-7   Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Acts 13:48  And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Many are called by man and go forth.  Ministers call them.  Their families tell them to be baptized. So they go forth and they even report how they went forth and "received" Jesus or "accepted" Jesus and they think themselves to be Christians but they were not called by God, they are not born again by the Spirit of God, and they do not have the SpiritThey have not been planted in the church by God.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus said to us, to the elect of God:

Matthew 24:4-5  Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When we are born again by God giving us HIS Spirit we are changed by God immediately into a new creature:  We are no longer the person we once were.  We are now different from that person.  We are changed and that change is by God and it is not by ourselves.

2 Corinthians 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

If you went forward and were baptized or went forward and "received Jesus" but there was no change in your life, I recommend you fall down now before God and ask God to save you and have mercy on you.

For only God can call us and cause us to be born again.

We are born by the will of our natural parents when we come into this earth.  We have no saying at all in the matter of being born onto this earth!

When we are born again it is by the will of God, not by our own will.  And after we have been born again and given the Spirit of God, we know we did nothing of ourselves to justify our being born again.  It was simply the will of God.

Acts 2:47   And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Those preachers who invite you to come forward and receive Jesus or accept Jesus preach a false doctrine to you, causing you to think that by something you do you are saved.

When I was 15, I went forward by invitation of a preacher at church, and I was baptized.  But I was not called by the Spirit of God.  I just didn't want to go to hell.

One woman who was once in our church group said her mother told her to go forward and be baptized because she was getting fatter and now she looked good.

People often are led by emotions of themselves and by praise of other humans but are not called by God.

When I was 37, I was in my bedroom at night and was reading a book when God said to me by HIS Spirit, "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."   I was changed instantly from the person I had been before God spoke to me.

Counterfeit Christians are everywhere in the church groups.  They were planted there by "the enemy" of God, says Jesus.

Matthew 13:24-27  Another parable put HE (Jesus) forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.   But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

The fate of the tares:

Matthew 13:30  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

If you are one of the tares, your destruction is eminent.

Call on God.  Perhaps God will have mercy on you now and cause you to be born again and change you, giving you HIS Spirit.

Dream:  7, 28, 2021

I was having 5 or 6 people into my house for dinner.  These were very important people for they were the elect of God.

I realized a very black smoke was coming into one room.  It seemed to be backing up from the chimney.  I dealt with it immediately.

In the dining room, a man was working and he had spilt a type of wax liquid all down the table area on the carpet and floor.  It would have to be cleaned up before the dinner.

Then individuals began coming to my house.  One woman had a catalogue and wanted to show me the new clothes she was buying.  Even as busy and pushed as I was, I said to her, "Of course, I have time to look at your clothing."  (Later, I thought of the wedding garment and preparing ourselves for the wedding:  Matthew 22:10-14  So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.   For many are called, but few are chosen.

(Those not wearing the wedding garment cannot be included in the wedding:  You must be born again by God.)

In the dream, I was still dealing with the substance the worker had spilled on the floor.  And with dirt in the house.  A few other individuals were also trying to help clean up the area where the worker spilled the substance all the way across the dining table floor.

I had not prepared the food for the dinner.  I said, "I guess we will have to cancel the dinner."  But the individuals who were helping me said, "Let's not do that!"  So I agreed.  But I didn't see how we could be ready.

I awoke praying.  What is this?  What does this dream mean?

I realized it meant I couldn't deal with counterfeit Christians and have meals ready for the elect of God.

Hymn: On Christ the solid Rock I stand

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

  1.  My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Chorus:

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,

All other ground is sinking sand.

2.  When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3.   His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4.  When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

*****

Scripture pertaining to this hymn:

v. 1   But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Jesus' name:  the  Word of God ... I wholly lean on that Word given me by God ... That Word which comes down to me from heaven pertaining to the issue with which I am currently dealing.

***

v.2   I rest on His unchanging grace;

Every morning there is light from the sun.  This is unchanging until the end of this present world.

Genesis 8:22   While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

***

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,

Christ, the solid Rock, is the WORD that is revealed by God to us in the issue at hand.

Jesus says:

Matthew 7:24-27   whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Jesus says:

John 14:6   I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.

The WORD given us by the Holy Spirit is the way to go.  The WORD is truth and life.  The WORD is Jesus.

John 1:1-4   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him (The Word); and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him (The Word) was life; and the life (The Word) was the light  of men.

***

John 6:33    For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.

48  I am that bread of life.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is MY flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.

We eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood as we live in the Word of God given to us by the Holy Spirit and as we do those things instructed in the Bible.  The Word is the Lord's supper.

54 Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For MY flesh is meat indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed.

56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME.

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

***

John 1:14   And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

A few of many things THE WORD says to us, the children of God:

* I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.  (Joshua 1:5 & Hebrews 13:5)

The Word spoken to our minds by Jesus' Holy Spirit will always come to pass.

* No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord.  (Isaiah 54:17)

* Jesus, The Word says ... lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  (Matthew 28:20)

* my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (THE WORD). (Philippians 4:19)

* If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  (James 1:5)

* Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  (James 1:17)

*****

Matthew 16:13-18  When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Peter was blessed because God revealed The Word to him. The Word revealed by God by HIS Spirit to us is the rock. The gates of hell will not prevail against that Word revealed to us by God.

***

v. 4  When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18    But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

***

The apostle Peter tells us how to live and how to be found  "in HIM" when HE comes.

II Peter 3:10-14    But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The only way we can live continually "in peace, without spot, and blameless", is to pray over every issue that touches our lives this day and every day, one problem at a time.  And to be cleansed by God that day by hearing what God would bring to us in the trouble.

***

Our trust must be at all times in the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sins.

Hebrews 9:22  without shedding of blood is no remission.

God showed it to me this way:

I have shed no blood to pay for my sins. Jesus shed HIS blood to pay for my sins. Therefore my sins are paid for by Jesus' blood.

When thoughts of sins I did in past come to my mind, I must refuse to dwell on them. Instead I must reflect on the truth that all those past sins have been paid for by the blood of Jesus. There is nothing I can do of myself to make up for past acts which I now regret. I must trust my salvation in all things to have been bought by the blood of Jesus. I must keep myself in this truth at all times.
