Hebrews 13:5-6 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Hebrews 13:5-6 ... Let your conversation (manner of life) be without covetousness (strong desire, wanting what others have); and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When I was about 20 years old (before I was born again), I was driving somewhere and heard a story on radio about a very rich man and his wife.  I thought the wife was so lucky to have such an husband.  "Why didn't I have this kind of husband?"

Then a week after I heard this story, another story came about this man.  He had just been arrested for swindling people. (Billy Sol Estes)  He ended up going to trial and being put into prison.

How terrible it would be for his wife!

After being born again and being "reconstructed" by God, covetousness seems to be gone.  I feel so grateful to God now.  Now what I want to do is to please God and to try to find out what God wants me to do and to handle things according to what I believe God wants.  "Not my will but Thy will be done."

And regardless of how my life appears to myself and to others, I know God has set everything up in the best possible way for me!  And I am very thankful to be exactly where I am.  Romans 8:28 ... And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

When a famous person dies, I often think, "What now?"

All that matters is belonging to God and being right in the sight of God ... this is the righteousness of God ... it is HIS righteousness we live in when we seek His will in the matters pertaining to this life and we choose to give up our will and do what we believe is right in HIS sight.

Living the word of God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

If you have the Spirit of God in you, the Spirit of Truth ... you will not be able to live in peace in places where "another gospel" is being preached whether in a church group or a "family".

Recently Pam Padgett told the amazing story of her mother being taken to hospital and how her niece let Pam know about this.  (Her mother lives in a neighboring state.)  Pam considered whether or not she should go there.  But God showed her to go there would be like standing on an ant hill.  She would be bitten over and over by her relatives, many who are Catholic.

Pam did not go.  It took amazing faith in God not to go!

When Pam and I were talking about this, we both were amazed at how these unbelievers are surrounded by many people but they still want us.  I have two cousins who have all sorts of people around them but both of them were unhappy with me for not wanting to do fleshly visits with them.  Yet I have no one in Lubbock and never feel at a loss.  They have masses of people about them and feel at a loss for people.

It is a labor to keep faith in God.

Faith always starts with the word from God on the matter at hand.  You cannot determine to have faith in God.  You have to seek the will of God through prayer and then do what you believe God shows you to do.

Affected by the words of others

Pam Padgett ... teacher

Nearly a month ago my dog had an infection which required medication for her to recover.  At the vet's office I was asked if she had been in any lakes or ponds.  At first I didn't think so, but then was reminded of a pond on the golf course behind my house which the dog had gotten into.  We believe this is where the dog was infected.  Since then, I have been careful to not let the dog get into any of the ponds.

However, the past few days she has started having diarrhea similarly to what happened with the infection.  Since she hadn't been in any ponds, I thought maybe this time she had just eaten something that was causing a minor problem and it would get better on its own.  But when she woke me multiple times one night needing to go outside, I felt it was time to get an appointment setup with the vet.  One of my neighbors takes her dog to the same vet and had told me a couple days earlier she had tried to make an appointment but the vet had no openings for 2-3 days.  Because of this I expected a delay.

When I called the vet's office I didn't even consider they would have an appointment available that day and asked if there was any way to get an appointment for the following day.  I was told time was available on the current day and the following day.  Strangely, it was so strongly in my mind that there would be a delay because of what the neighbor said, that I set the appointment for the following day rather than taking the current day's appointment.

Then I remembered to pray.

I was immediately reminded that when the dog had gotten into the pond almost a month ago, I had put her in a wading pool to get cleaned off before taking her inside for a bath.  I drained the water from the pool and set it aside but didn't clean it.  It had not been used again until this past weekend.  When I got it out, it was a little dirty, but I had forgotten this was from the pond.  Knowing the pool would be even dirtier after the dogs played in it, I didn't clean it.

Being reminded of this "woke me up".  I realized the dog was probably infected again and needed medicine as soon as possible before the infection worsened.  I called and rescheduled the vet appointment for the current day.

We can be far more affected by what people say than we may realize.

How important it is to turn to God with each thing we face, not relying on our own understanding.  We don't know the best way to go and may even be affected by what someone else has said without realizing it.  But God knows the best way for us and is able to lead us in that way.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Psalm 34:7 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 34:7 ... The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Do I fear God?  Do I care about what God thinks about that which I am doing and am about to do?  Do I care about God enough to give up my own way?  If so, the angel of the Lord encamps around me (and you).

It helps so much when I am judging what I do and find I was led by Holy Spirit ... The fountain in my back yard is black but it showed signs of white chipping around the lip of each of the 3 areas.  I have black paint in spray can and that works very well in touch up.  I wanted to put that on the chipped parts of the fountain but as I considered doing this, I couldn't see how I could apply the paint without getting paint into the bowl areas where there is water.  Then an idea came to me ... take a piece of cardboard and put the cardboard over the bowl and that would allow me to spray the lip of the bowl without getting paint into the water area.  This seemed to me to be a very simple, workable plan.  I did this and it took about 5-10 minutes to paint the chipped areas.  I was so glad I was able to do this.

A few days after this, a woman wanted me to go eat with her.  But I was having severe leg pain so I declined.  This woman is very self righteous, thinking herself to be right and disdaining what others do. (She is not born again.)  When I declined, she really struck out at me saying because I painted the fountain, I brought the leg pain on myself.

At first, I didn't know ... then I recalled how I was shown to put that cardboard over the water areas and how that made it possible for me to do this project.  This really does seem like the Holy Spirit showing me how to do something.  I believe it was.  This was very helpful to me in allowing me to judge correctly.

Always the key is: What has God shown me ...  People will often condemn us with what they think.  But we can get things in proper order if we consider what God showed us.  This allows us to live in God's truth which is an important part of the whole armor of God.

Eph. 6 ... 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

We can think of tomorrrow or we can determine to trust in God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When we allow ourselves to think of tomorrow (the unknown but possible) we enter into many fears and the more we think on tomorrow the more we disturb ourselves.

If we stop and focus on today, everything changes immediately.

Do we have food today?  Do we have clothing today?  I suspect more of us (if not all) will say yes.  Calm overtakes us when we think of today.

When we drift back to thinking of what will happen to us tomorrow, fears return and often run rampant.

Therefore we are instructed to take no thought for tomorrow ... (If you will examine your concerns, don't they have to do with what might happen tomorrow?)

So we have a choice.  We can focus on our concerns and try to figure out what to do ... or we can made a deliberate choice to put our trust in God.  We can't do both.  It is one or the other.  When we try to figure out what to do for tomorrow, we are trusting in ourselves.  When we determine to trust in God and focus on today, we put our trust in God.

Jesus says ... Mt. 6 ... 19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Recently I had very severe leg pain.  It was so bad I could hardly walk and had to use a cane to walk.   Terrifying thoughts came:  What will happen to my cat if I have to go to hospital.  Who will care for cat?

Then I recalled how I got cat in first place.  My previous cat had to be put to sleep.  I didn't plan to get another cat because I am so old (about 74 at time Samantha died.)  The night she died, I cried out to God:  "I need help".  I heard, "Go on internet and buy a Siamese cat."  I found a breeder that I liked and called her and she told me she could have a kitten to me that next Wednesday.  I was so happy.  All grief over Samantha ended immediately and there was no more grief at all.

I believe it was God leading me to get this cat.  That really helps me to believe God will provide someway for the care of this cat even if I can't do it.  And after realizing this, I remembered that I met a woman recently who is a cat sitter, coming to homes to care for cats when people are not able to do so.  I have her card in my card file.  This helped.

Of course, I may not have to go to hospital over leg.  It is better now, 4 days later.

Psalm 18:32 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 18:32 ... It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

It is only God that gives me strength and makes my way perfect.  When I hear from HIM on the matter at hand I have  both strength and perfection.

Antichirst is a spirit who works in hearts of men

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Some in church circles think antichirst is a man.  But antichrist is a spirit operating in men just as the devil is a spirit operating in men.

John explained this for us as follows:

I Jn. 2 ... 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Paul explained ... Acts 20 ... Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, 19Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.  24But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 25And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Antichirst means:  opposite to Christ ...

Christ presents doctrines to the church.  Antichrist tries to convince those in the church to go in opposite direction from that presented by the Spirit of God.

For example:  Jesus said the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  Mt. 5:32

Antichirst tries to reason this away.

It is as simple as that.

Some fall away from the doctrine of Christ in order to go in another direction.  Thus antichrist is operating in those persons.

Antichrist is operating in full force today in the churches.  There has been and is a mighty falling away from the doctrines presented in the Bible.  In many cases the doctrine is explained away.  In other cases, the scriptures are twisted to eliminate the doctrine.  Regardless, antichrist is working in the churches.

Paul told us the day of the Lord would not come except a "falling away" happened.  This is not people leaving the church.  It is the church falling away from the scripture and setting up another doctrine in the group.

II Thess. 2 ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;

Antichrist is revealed by this changing of scripture in the church groups.  It is a spirit working in the hearts of men in the church to turn to a perverse doctrine and to leave the doctrine established by God through Jesus and the apostles and recorded in the NT for us today.

Antichrist opposes the doctrine of Christ and sets himself up above all scripture and exalts himself in the church ... This removal of scripture is the "falling away" ... It is done by men in churches as they present another "gospel" (gospel means:  God's story on the issue) ... Example:  Jesus said the man who marries divorced woman commits adultery  Mt. 5:32... Churches remove this teaching and readily approve remarriage after divorce and say things like "God wants you to be happy" ... and these churches set up single groups so "Christians" can meet other "Christians" and remarry after divorce)

Antichrist approves sin in the church and even makes ways for people in the church to sin to get what they want out of life.   To do this, antichrist changes the doctrine set up in the Bible.

II Thess. 2 ...

so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Antichrist is rampant today in church groups, working in the hearts of men in the church group ... presenting doctrine opposite from the Bible ... approving various sins ... Thus these people working by the spirit of Antichrist show themselves to be God by ruling over the various scriptures.

Paul once said ... I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.   Gal. 1

And those who go along with antichrist in the churches will be turned over by God to believe the lie that antichrist presents ...and they will all be damned, according to Paul, as spoken in the following scripture.

II Thess. 2 ...

5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

All these things are happening today, right now, in the various church groups.

If you go along with lies in the church group, you become a part of the lie.

II Jn. 2 ... Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

The only thing we can do is walk away when we see scriptures changed and eliminated in the church groups and another gospel set up which is opposite to the scriptures.

We will not be able to change them by staying among them.  For Paul explains:  II Tim. 3:13 ... But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Paul was speaking of inside the church group because Paul said they would have "a form of godliness" but they would deny the power of God which are the Holy scriptures.  II Tim. 3 ... 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

If you sit among them, you will fall asleep (die) as they have already done.

Poison gas dream (given me in approximately 1978) shows speakers in church gassing the congregation to death with an "I'm OK ... your OK" doctrine ... Instead of warning the congregation as they are supposed to do, they make the congregation feel approved in various sins, bringing death to those in the congregation

In this dream ...  I went into a room where a meeting was going on.  There was one vacant seat on the aisle and I sat down and began listening to a man who was speaking to the group.  Another man rushed and went to the front of the room and said, "Stop ... wait ... can't you see ... It's too late!  It's already begun."The first man resumed speaking to the group.  I looked out the window and was shocked at what I saw.  There was a tall, civil defense type pole with a yellow warning speaker on top of the pole.  Out of the speaker was coming a poison gas.  I knew it would kill the people and shockingly the gas was coming from our own speaker which was supposed to warn us.   I looked at the man who was sitting next to me.  He was sitting upright.  He had a big smile on his face.  He was looking directly at the speaker in an attentive way.  But this man was a corpse.  He was dead though he looked alive.  Then I looked at people around the room and they were already dead also.  And as I sat back in my seat, I felt myself falling asleep, dying as I listened to the speaker.

If you stay there you will fall asleep (die) ... You just have to get up and walk out.

Another dream showing deformity in the churches:  In this dream, there was a row of baby bassinets.  I was walking down the row looking at the babies.  The babies were horribly deformed. (I know they were deformed by those things being taught them at their churches. Not only did they remain babies but they were deformed babies.) Standing at the end of the row was my favorite aunt.  She was fully grown but on her face were terrible spots and blemishes.

This aunt said to me before she died:  "I know things are wrong at our church."  But she stayed there anyway.

You cannot do this without penalty.

Psalm 18:30 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 18:30 ... As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

A few days ago, I gave you example of a woman from our church group who had 2 dreams and she thought she was supposed to sell her house ...  she didn't know where she would go and she is 74 years old.

I knew this was potential disaster for her.  I presented strong warning.

What I really wanted to tell her is don't write to me, it disturbs me.  But I knew this was just my own feeling and I didn't want to shut the door unless it was God telling me to do this.  So I bit my tongue and turned to God in prayer, asking Him not to let me speak my own words and asking HIM to have me speak to her what HE would say.

After turning to God, I saw to tell her two things:  She has a keyboard.  Just play and sing hymns.  Devils will be driven away from her and she will become calm again.

Second:  It was not God telling her to sell her house.  She was basing her action on her own interpretation of what those dreams meant.  Often interpretations are wrong.  What she needed to evaluate is can she afford living in this house?  (I think she can)  And she needs to focus on today, can she pay for food and necessary expenses.  If so, do nothing.  Cut back in expenses also and live below her means.  Then money accumulates so when someone has a need you will be able to help.

I was amazed at how easy these two instructions were.

One way we determine if the idea is from God is by asking:  "Is that idea easy to be entreated."  (James 3:17)  For the wisdom that is from God would be pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated ...

I don't believe it would be easy to sell your house and not have any place to go at the age of 74.

Also I think some of her plan was based on fears of what might happen tomorrow ... her age, her physical needs, her work (she is realtor) and financial changes that seem to be happening ...

But when the word (counsel) is really from God, the plan is secure.

Mt. 6 ...  34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

When we begin thinking of "tomorrow" we can really get troubled.  If we focus on today we will usually see that we have food and raiment and like sheep we just peacefully keep eating in the pasture where God has placed us.

I Tim. 6 ... But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Common sense tells us we cannot live beyond our means.  So if at the end of the month you are in a deficit, you should cut back on expenses.

It is also a good idea to use restraint for it can help you in good discipline.  Spending more money than you make is a very bad way of life.  It is never faith to go into debt.  It is lack of control and foolishness as a way of life.  This needs to be turned around if that is your way of life.

I suggest you read the following writing:   Woman going the wrong way  (7-23-14)

Knowing Bible spares us from so much trouble

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently a woman who attends a church in Lubbock was very upset over something where people were displaying bad acts.

I told her the Bible says people will get worse and worse, not better.

II Tim. 3 ... 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

She did not want to hear this.  Though she attends a church group, she has never displayed that she believes the Bible.  I realized she did not want to believe what Paul says about the days ahead.  She just wants people to make things get better.

We who understand know things will not get better for the Bible tells us they will get worse.

I rejoice because by the Bible we know the end so we won't fret ourselves when we see things on this earth getting worse. I no longer try to make people change but rather I speak so that people who really are of God can be encouraged in true things of God and walk out of evil.

And what did Paul tell us to do when we see the evil men and seducers at work ...

II Tim. 3 ...

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

A Baptist woman told me something really wonderful happened at church on Sunday ... I quietly listened, waiting for her to tell what happened ... Then she said, "I registered my grandchild to vote"  (She believes by politics things can get better.)

My Church of Christ cousin also thought things would get better if only a Republican came into office.

Many church people think this way.

We who are of God simply come to accept the truth of that spoken in Bible concerning the end times.  Things will get worse.  We don't try to stop the flood but rather we continue in the Word of God, doing those things HE teaches us as we walk on this earth, taking care of our own lives by the Word of God.

Things also get much worse in the churches as they depart from scripture, removing rules of the Bible to permit people to "be happy" ... But those people who try to "be happy" in the flesh will never achieve the type of happiness they seek.

Happiness comes as we submit to God and give up our way and honor the Bible as the inspired word of God, doing the will of God on this earth.  Then we cease fretting over how bad things are getting for we know it is ordained that this happen for this is what the Bible says will happen. We simply accept this and take care of ourselves, keeping ourselves by that which God shows us.  And we know there will be another heaven and earth, a new heaven and earth wherein dwelleth rightousness.  We trust in God to sustain us in this present wicked world.

Knowing the Bible frees us from false hopes.  We cease from struggling against the Bible.

Because of Bible, I know people will get worse and worse ... II Tim. 3

Because of Bible, I know churches will teach false doctrine ... "falling away" from scriptures ... This act allows antichrist (which is a spirit) to rule in the church groups. (II Thess. 2 & II Tim. 3)

I can't turn these evils.  I can walk away and keep myself by the Spirit of God and warn others so they, too, can walk away from the evils.  And I can live in peace even in the midst of the evils when I know the Bible shows this will happen.  I can avoid fighting against that which is ordained by God.

II Tim. 3 shows us what will happen ... and it also tells us what we are to do, sparing us and other individuals who believe.

I rejoice over this provision in the midst of trouble.

Their blood on our hands

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When Juliett sent us her email and dreams (see writing: Woman going wrong way ... 7-23-14), I just wanted to walk away ... and I did start walking away toward my bedroom ... and got in bed ... wanting to ignore her ... but then I thought if I ignore this and she sells her house and gets into real trouble her blood will be on my hands.  So I returned to the computer and started warning her.

In OT there is a lot about their blood being on our hands if we fail to warn them. (Eze. 3)

But is that the case in NT?

I didn't know until I was reading in Acts and came upon the following spoken by Paul ... Acts 20 ... Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

I think by what Paul says here that their blood will be on our hands if we fail to speak when we have the counsel of God on the matter at hand and something bad happens to them.
Ezekiel 3 ... (God speaking to Ezekiel the prophet) Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 18When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 19Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 20Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  21Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

When God was training me for the work of the ministry, this scripture was used to instruct me.  None of us want to speak.  But it is our role to speak and warn them especially when we are prophets.  All these past years, I have warned the individuals over and over when I have had the counsel of God, the Word of God, on the matter.  I wouldn't want something to happen to them when I could have warned them.  So I warned them.  Like Paul, I think I can say I have given you all the counsel that I have had from God.

The work of prophet is very difficult for we often have "impressions" which are from God and those "impressions" are the counsel of God.  It takes a lot of courage to warn people.  But if we keep that impression to ourselves and they suffer I believe their blood is on our hands.  I'd rather not take that chance, so I warn them.

In Acts 20, Paul shows that he felt a responsibility also for their blood, so he did not hold back from warning them.

Psalm 19:7 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 19:7 ... The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

For each of us from time to time, various thoughts come into our minds concerning doctrine and be can begin to think something which is not confirmed by God in the Bible.  As we pray about those ideas and continue to read Bible, I find I am set straight in the correct doctrine.

The apostle Paul warned:  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. II Tim. 3

Claiming scripture: correct and incorrect use

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

There is a correct way to "claim" scripture and an incorrect way to "claim" scripture.

Here are examples of both ways.

Incorrect way to claim scripture to get what you want ...  I wanted to marry.  I hunted scripture to justify my prayer ... One scripture I recall "claiming" in prayer was"  "None shall want her mate ..."  Isaiah 34 ... 16Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

I dated several men at church.  I continually "claimed" this scripture.... every morning ... I believed this scripture ...

There was just one flaw ... I did not know the will of God for my life.  Nor did I seek God's will, "Not my will but THY will be done." ... I just wanted this.

At a prayer group, everyone was praying for me to marry and seemed to have no doubt I would marry soon.  (That was in the 1970's.)  The leader of the group said, "Of course it has to be God's will for Joan to marry ... "  then she added ... "But of course it is God's will ..."  So everyone prayed.

My best friend at that time was also praying for me to marry and she heard the following as she prayed:  "MY grace is sufficient for her."  (I suspect Donna quit praying for me to marry after hearing that.)  She told me but this didn't stop me at all.  Finally, I just had to realize that this was not God's will for me and I accepted it.

This is an example of incorrect claiming of scripture to get what you want... and of incorrect prayer.

A correct use of "claiming" scripture comes when God gives you a scripture and you keep that scripture before you day and night to keep your faith up.

Here is example of correct "claiming" of scripture.

This happened to me shortly after I was born again.  I owned a business in Dallas and a man filed a lawsuit against me.  I had the following scripture called to my attention by the Holy Spirit ... Isaiah 54:17 ... No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

For several months this law suit hung over me and I was terrified from day to day ... I kept this scripture and others given me by the Holy Spirit in front of me to sustain me during this difficult period.  I believe these scriptures were the will of God in this matter against me ... no weapon would stand against me ... This was certainly a very powerful weapon for had this man won this law suit, he could have taken my business away and all my materials possessions.

I therefore kept this scripture before me day and night to get me strength in moments of terror.

But that scripture was not something I found but rather it was called to my mind by the Spirit of God therefore I had assurance that this was God showing me this would not prevail over me.  My "claiming" of this scripture was more a building of my faith in that which God had shown me by His Spirit for it is the Spirit of God that reminds us of things of God showing us the will of God in the issue of this life.  (I Cor. 2)

Six days before the trial, the man dropped all charges.  I was set free!

Proverbs 31:30-31 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Proverbs 31:30-31 ... Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

This section of Proverbs 31 starts with the following question:

Who can find a virtuous woman?   Prov. 31:10

In addition to sexual purity, virtuous means "strong" ...

Her husband will have no cause to fear what she may do if she is truly a godly woman.  If she is ruled by God by HIS Word, Jesus Christ, then she will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

But it is hard to find such a woman.

Such a woman is so rare it is likened to rubies

for her price is far above rubies ... Prov. 31:10

This godly woman holds to that which God says, to the Word of God, ... She will hold to this word even unto death and to cost to herself ...

Dealing with temptation ... dealing with sin

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

There have been many times in the past years when temptation has come to me.  Even before I was born again I remember calling on God for help when confronted with sexual temptations and God always helped me.  Most of us can recognize temptation.  If we really don't want to yield to the temptation, we can call on God for help.  If we want help, God will give us help.  Most people want to participate in the sin, sexual sins and other sins.
Fornication is never approved by God.  Read the Bible and see.

Paul explains:  I Cor. 6 ...  Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.  14And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The world today presents fornication as something unimportant.  But the Bible teaches us at the time of sexual intercourse the two people become one flesh.  And Paul says fornication is a sin different from all other sins.  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

I've seen so many church goers who commit fornication and seek fornication partners, often through the singles classes at churches.

I Cor. 10:13 ... There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Each of us are confronted with sins of speaking wrongly ... Again, there is help through God when we don't want to sin with our words.  So often, I am tempted to say something and I recognize that I am tempted to set some worldly person "right" ... and often I silently pray, "God help me ... please don't let me say that ..."  and I am stopped by God.

The world considers various sins "spicy" and they love to tell others of their sins ... like on TV talk shows (which I would not want to watch).

But when we are of God, do we really want to spread shame out on a table like a banquet?  I know I don't want to do this.  Sin is shame.

If I feel I have sinned, I deal with that sin by turning to God in prayer.  I settle that sin with God.  It is a shame.  I wouldn't want to tell other people.  And I know when I have settled it with God, it is over.  There is no need to tell other people.

I Jn. 2:1 ... My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

James 3:13-18 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

James 3:13-18 ... Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

One of the main works of the flesh is to outdo other people ... to compete ... to strive to be #1 ... (Gal. 5 ... emulation)

The flesh loves to exalt itself, thus desire to be wise ...

The flesh loves to be admired by other humans ... physical appearance and such ...

All these worldly desires which are rampant among us are desires of our own flesh.

But we who are of God keep our flesh crucified with Christ so we can serve God, doing HIS will, instead of the will of our flesh.  We are "buried" with Christ so we can be "raised" with Christ and therefore instead of serving our own flesh we now can serve God.  (Romans 6)

When we see an athlete make a good play and cross himself or raise his hands toward the heaven to indicate "thank God", we know this is not spiritual but fleshly.   For it is the flesh that competes to beat others.

For several years, I played bridge.  Often I would think of Jesus and Paul and I just could not picture Jesus and Paul at a bridge table trying to beat other people.  Finally, I quit bridge.

Paul told us to "make ourselves of no reputation" ... Phil. 2  This is exactly opposite to that which our flesh wants to do.  People dress to impress other humans and to make people think well of them.  People earn college degrees to put themselves ahead of others in their field.  People do all manner of competition to win over others.  These are all fleshly, desires of our own flesh, not of God.

Thus Paul says ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Phil. 2

Spared unnecessary trouble

Pam Padgett ... teacher

As we live on this earth we encounter various things that seem to us to require us to take action of some kind.  Sometimes we do need to take action.  But sometimes the flesh is stirred up and would lead us to get involved in unnecessary activities, exhausting, troubling, and perhaps even harming us in some way.

But when we turn to God, He is able to lead us in the best way for us ... whether to take some action and if so, what action to take ... or whether to stay still in the matter.

My parents live in another state in the same small town where my niece and her husband live.  A few weeks ago I received a call from my niece letting me know they had taken my mom to the hospital and that she was quite ill.  My niece was obviously very concerned.  Thoughts came that I should go there.  To my flesh it seemed this is what I "should" do. But when I turned to God, I kept hearing that there was nothing I could do that wasn't already being taken care of.  And I also had the thought that to go there for this would be like stepping into an ant hill of fire ants.  I tried these thoughts and believe they were from the Holy Spirit.  So I stayed at my home.

The hospital is in a large city 3-4 hours from where my parents live.  One of my sisters and her grown and married children live near this city.  My other sister lives just 2 hours away.  For many years my parents lived near this city as well and have friends who still live there.  There was a small hotel in the hospital itself and my dad was able to get a room there.  In addition to my niece, a friend of my parents was available to help my dad.  Everything was taken care of, and after a week in the hospital, my mom was well enough to return home.

Earlier this week my mom called me. During the conversation she spoke of being well cared for at the hospital and also told me that the nurses at the hospital had commented about how many visitors had come to visit her.  She told me some of them. As she spoke, I recalled what I heard which caused me to stay home.

There was nothing I needed to do there.  She was well cared for and there were people to help my dad.  And many of the people who were there (including my parents) have troubled me in the past by what they do and say.  One of my sisters has even been hostile to me in the past.  I have no doubt I would have been "stung" by their words and actions, just as if I stepped into a hill of fire ants.

Many things would have been hard for me had I gone.  Even the trip itself would have been hard in various ways.  I was spared this unnecessary trouble by what I believe the Holy Spirit spoke to me when I prayed.

Jeremiah 29:11 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Jeremiah 29:11 ... For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When we are born again we are a new creature, created to serve God by HIS Spirit which dwells in us.

God cares for those who are HIS children.  We show our love of God and the people of God as we keep HIS commandments.  And HE leads us by HIS Spirit and watches over us day and night.

Thus David said ... The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.   3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.  Psa. 23

And Jesus prays for the people of God ...  Jn. 17 ... Jesus says ... I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. (verse 9)

But few find the way of life for the cost seems so great.

Mt. 7 ... Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Jesus taught HIS disciples to pray:  "Deliver us from evil."  Mt. 6:13

But some do not want to be delivered from evil.

Holy Spirit guides us into all truth

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Yesterday I went to Walmart and a man who was a "greeter" approached me at the entry door and asked me if I would like to sell my car.  I replied I did not want to sell my car.  He kept on about my car and then he said he is a "minister" and he is going into Mexico soon.  He said he speaks at churches all over.  He was very caught up in his works.

The following morning the Holy Spirit reminded me of something about this man.  On his shirt collar he wore a cross on one collar and a Jewish star on the other collar.

We can't be for Jesus and deny Jesus at same time.

We know them by their fruits.

Psalm 68:19-20 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 68:19-20 ... Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. 20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

As I go through my life and look at all the benefits in my life, I continually say, "Thank God", recognizing what I have is from God and exceeds anything I could have imagined and these things did not come by my trying to get them, they just came to me, were added to me along the way.  It really seems impossible!  People think they have to work for everything and plan for acquiring things and strive for money to pay for things.  They do not understand the following.

Mt. 6 ... No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you
34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Woman going the wrong way

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

A woman in our little church group sent me an email a couple of days ago and it was very disturbing.  She showed much confusion and what she was about to do had potential of great harm toward herself.  This woman has been with us for about 30 years.   She has a history of being unstable.  When she writes to me she produces no good fruit and often her writing is very disturbing, affecting me. I do not know if she is born again.  I do not have any real evidence that she has the Holy Spirit.  And everything starts with this.  I cannot cause this woman or anyone else to be born again.  All I can do is to be faithful to God share those messages which I believe to be from God and to keep sharing them. I have done this for many years and still do such both on Internet  and by email and telephone directly to the person.

Over a period of 24 hours, I believe God helped me to work through her problem and I am going to share with you the messages involved with this.

First:  The setting.

This woman reported 2 dreams which made no sense to me.  She tried to interpret them and that made no since either.  The basic interpretation she presented is that she believed that God was going to move her.  So she put her house up for sale.  God did not tell her to put her house up for sale nor did God tell her to do anything else she was planning. (She is 74 years old.) I can only assume that she was somehow doing this "by faith".  But this is an incorrect way of dealing in faith for before you can do anything you must hear from God and then your faith is built on that which you heard from God.  She was trying to make things happen.  Her faith was being built on her interpretation of what she thought God was going to do.  If God is going to do something, let HIM do it.  You do not have to try to make it happen unless you have specific instruction which she did not have.  Everything was coming from what she thought those dreams meant.  People are often wrong on interpretation of dreams.

The remainder of this involved 3 or 4 emails as follows:

The Emails:

Email #1 ... To Juliett from Joan Boney
