Phil. 4:8 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Philippians 4:8 ... Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

If we think on that brought to our mind by Holy Spirit and the works does by Jesus by the will of God, we see that which is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of virtue, worthy of praise.

Humans want to praise humans.  Flesh wants to praise flesh.  We who are of God want to spreak that which edifies the body of Christ and reflects God.

Eph. 4 ... 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27Neither give place to the devil. 28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

v. 29 ... that it may minister grace unto the hearers:
means to cause the hearers to glorify God and HIS works.

At one point, the worshipers of Jesus wanted to come and take Him and set Him us as king ... When Jesus recognized that, HE withdrew Himself from them.  Later those who would kill Jesus came to take Him, and Jesus withdrew Himself for it was not the time.  Jesus glorified God in both cases, doing the will of God, keeping God before Himself.
