Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Mt. 24 ... 1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
In 1980, I attended a church in Dallas called Word of Faith. The pastor was a man named Robert Tilton.
When I first went there we met in an old warehouse. We would have about 200 people attend on a good day. People knew each other.
But then pastor began building campaign. A new meeting place was built. It seated about 8000. It was very upscale. Pastor had gone on radio and the later TV. When he developed his own TV program, he invited a prophet from our church to be on his TV show. She was a woman who would photograph very well on TV. Just before going on the show, Bob said, "Oh ... just one thing ... don't mention anything about being a prophet for it isn't popular." She was devastated and called me after the show and told me what Bob had done. I was horrified.
I delivered the following message to Bob Tilton. "Bob, when you told Ava not to mention being a prophet on your TV show because it was not popular, you killed a prophet. Because of this your house will be left desolate to you."
Bob continued to add more and more radio/TV stations and grew greatly in popularity until ABC news with Diane Sawyer in 1991 secretly photographed him and recorded what he was saying aboard an airplane and aired it and did an expose on him on TV. In the recording, he spoke negatively about Jews. Then they exposed what was happening with the offerings people were sending to him. He had urged them to send him their prayer requests. But all mail sent to him was rerouted directly to a bank where tellers opened the letters and deposited the money and threw the prayer requests into the garbage. He raised an estimated 80-million-dollars per year during this time before the ABC expose. (ABC's Primetime Live filmed this and showed it on the TV expose in 1991.) This stopped the TV and within 2 years he was no longer presenting the TV shows that he had been doing. (You can read this on Wickipedia, by typing Robert Tilton in the Google search.)
He and his wife divorced. Later he remarried and she ended up suing him. They divorced and he married a third time. Some of his TV audience filed suit against him because he had promised 100-fold return on their offerings and that didn't happen. (Please read: Ministers who use 100-fold return to extort money)
He left Dallas and last time I heard he was in Florida.
The church building Bob had carefully built was torn down and
later bought by another party and changed to a bowling alley according to
Wickipedia. There is no sign today that a church ever met at this site.
Mt. 23 ... O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are
sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39For I say unto you, Ye
shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that
cometh in the name of the Lord.
I Tim. 5:23 ... 24Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
Some sins are exposed before the day of judgment and some are hidden
until the day of judgment but all sins are known by God and will be
dealt with, some on this present earth but all at the judgment seat of Christ.
II Cor. 5 ... 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
