πŸ’₯ From heaven, Jesus gives ministers to the New Testament Church.

Paul was not one of the 12 apostles selected by Jesus as HE walked on this earth.  But Jesus called Paul from heaven after Jesus arose into heaven after the resurrection of Jesus.

Acts 26  (Jesus calls Paul from heaven and appoints him to be a minister.)

Paul says:

9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord?

And HE said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in ME.

19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Paul was one of the first of the New Testament apostles who were appointed by Jesus from heaven.

Ephesians 4

8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE (Jesus) ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

11 And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into HIM in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Another apostle, called by Jesus from heaven, is Barnabas.

The following scripture names Barnabas as an apostle.

Acts 14:14  Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

A minister today is called by Jesus from heaven and can have more than one ministry office.

Paul identified himself as an "apostle and teacher."  (2 Timothy 1:11)

I am an apostle and prophet according to Ephesians 4:11-12.

The apostles of the NT church today are ordained by God to work strongly in scriptures, trying to cause people to turn to all of the NT Bible.

(Most church groups today have departed from some of the NT scriptures and have set up other doctrines in their groups.  This is the end time apostasy, antichrist in the church.)

The NT prophets instruct the church people in the doctrines of Christ cited in the Bible, and carry messages of correction from God to ministers and congregations.

The prophets of the NT church today do many of the things the prophets of the OT did.  Prophets are sent to the church.  They carry warning from God and corrections from God to ministers, to congregations, and to individuals in the congregations.

Sometimes prophets will warn the church of things to come as the prophet Agabus did in Acts. 11.

The following shows us the working of New Testament prophets in the New Testament church.

Acts 11   And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Prophets both teach the church and warn the church.

πŸ’₯ The righteousness which is of God by faith. (Philippians 3:9)

We believe it is God speaking to us by HIS Spirit, therefore we speak by faith.

God, by the Holy Spirit, reminds us of all that Jesus has said.  We speak that word when we are with other people.  When a scripture comes to our mind, we know it is God who has brought that scripture to our mind so we share that scripture when we are with other people.  When a concept comes to mind, we believe God brought that concept to mind, so we share that.  We do not speak of our own cleverness as the world does to impress people.  We do the work of God by sharing that which is brought to our mind by the Spirit of God.

Jesus said:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you(Jn. 14:26)

When we are reminded of a scripture, we know it is the Holy Spirit who has brought that scripture to our mind.  We share that!

We do not try to speak.  We simply speak if God reminds us of a scripture or a concept.

πŸ’₯ Romans 12

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

God raised us from the dead so it is "our reasonable service".  And we "transform our thinking" by reading the Bible and conforming our thinking to fit God's view of situations.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 12

9 Let love be without dissimulation. (pretense)

Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

(evil:  works of the flesh)

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft (superstition), hatred (extreme dislike), variance (to vary, debate, argue), emulations (to try to outdo other people), wrath (to want people to get what is coming to them), strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

(Good:  works of the Spirit)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

(As we trust in God we no longer have to try to be God.)

Podcast: Money

There has been a strong increase in the world toward gambling and gaining money from men.

Shortly after I was born again, I saw the following scripture which greatly influenced me.

Genesis 14  (Abraham said)

22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

Since that time, when I hear of people winning the Lottery, I find myself saying to God:  "I don't want the riches of man.  I only want that which YOU provide for me,"

As long as we live on this earth God provides for us and God's provision for us is even "exceeding abundantly" above all that we ask or think.

Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

I would not want to trade what God will give me for that which man would give me.  I want what God would give me.

In our hearts we must feel this way!

And we know this also:

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I know in my heart this is true!

Hymn: Blessed Assurance

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.   Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine;
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,

Born of His Spirit,
washed in His blood.

Chorus:

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

This is my story, this is my song,

Praising my Savior all the day long.

2.   Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3.   Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest;
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

v. 2  Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Work of Angels:  Bible examples

Angels come down from heaven as commanded by God to do various works of God according to the will of God.

* An angel of the Lord told Zacharias that his wife Elisabeth would bear a son and they were to call his name John.

Luke 1:11-15    And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

***

Luke 1:39-44    Mary, who is carrying Jesus in her womb, visits her cousin, Elizabeth, who is carrying John the Baptist in her womb  ...  The baby, John the Baptist, is filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother's womb as soon as Mary with the baby Jesus enter the room ...

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.  And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

***

Luke 1:16-17  ... concerning John the Baptist ...

And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

And he shall go before HIM (before Jesus) in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

* The angel Gabriel was sent to Mary to tell her she would have a son and to call His name Jesus.

Luke 1:26-38    And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

And the angel came in unto her, and said
, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name Jesus.  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:

And HE shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of HIS kingdom there shall be no end.

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word

And the angel departed from her.

***

* An angel told Joseph not to fear to take Mary for his wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:18-25  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for HE shall save His people from their sins.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called His name Jesus.

***

* An angel of the Lord told the shepherds that the Savior, Christ the Lord, had been born and they could find Him in a manger in Bethlehem.

Luke 2:8-15    And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

***

* An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream to tell him to take Mary and Jesus and flee into Egypt and to remain in Egypt until the angel gave him word to return.

Matthew 2:13-14  And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.

When he arose, he took the young child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt

***

* Later an angel told Joseph to return into the land of Israel for the ruler who wanted to kill the baby Jesus was now dead.

Matthew 2:19-21  But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

And he arose, and took the young child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.

***

* When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by Satan 40-days, angels ministered to Him.

Mark 1:12-13  And immediately the spirit driveth Him (Jesus) into the wilderness.

And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto Him.

***

* An angel of God moved the great stone which sealed the tomb of Jesus.

Matthew 28:2   And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

***

* An angel of God came down from heaven to free Peter from prison.

Acts 12:1-11  Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

***

* An angel delivered a message to the apostle Paul, telling Paul no harm would come to him and those on the ship.

Acts 27:18-25    And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;
And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.

But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

***

Genesis 28:10-12    And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Angels descend, carrying messages from God and doing works of God.

Then angels go back to heaven where God assigns them as He wills.

Psalm 103:20   Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.

(Comments by Joan Boney ...) The night of January 10, 1980, I was asleep and awakened by a very loud trumpet-like voice which blew 3 words into my ear as follows: "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" ... I believe this to have been an angel of God speaking to me. By this and through prayer, I came to believe God was leading me to go on radio. Within about 5 days of this word, I was broadcasting exhortations week-days on KWJS radio. Within a year I was on radio stations from NYC (Hartford) to Seattle.

Psalm 104:4   Who maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire:

***

Exodus 23:20-25    God says:    Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for MY name (the Word) is in him.

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

For Mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and HE shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

***

Notice how angels deliver messages from God to individuals.

Angels also do great works.  It was an angel who moved the large stone from the front of the tomb of Jesus.

***

It is not so much delighting in the fact that an angel appeared to you but rather delighting and following that word which the angel of God delivered to you.

πŸ’₯ The new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God when Jesus returns to gather the elect of God at the end of this world.

2 Peter 3  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When Jesus returns, the dead in Christ will rise first.

I Thessalonians  4   But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
(go before) them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

After Jesus raises the dead in Christ, HE will then send HIS angels to raise the elect of God from this earth and they will join Jesus and those who are resurrected from the dead in the air.

Matthew 24  Jesus says:  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God has created new heavens and new earth wherein dwell the righteous in Christ.

Revelation 21  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Before we are taken into the new heaven and new earth, we will be changed into new spiritual bodies.

I Corinthians 15  The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink!  That is how fast we will be changed from these current physical bodies to our new spiritual body.)

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus says:

Revelation 22  And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Rejoice in the Lord (The Word).

We continually rejoice in the Lord, in the Word, given us by God.

πŸ’₯   Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus (The Word).

πŸ’₯   Psalms 84:11  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good will HE withhold from them that walk uprightly.

πŸ’₯ Psalm 23:1 The LORD (The Word) is my shepherd; I shall not want.

πŸ’₯  Hebrews 13:5  For HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

πŸ’₯ Following God

Comments by Joan Boney:

I'm currently 84 years old.

Problems pop up and when I remember to ask God for help and wisdom, HE always brings me the solution.

Here are some examples:

πŸ’₯  Daily I would try to make myself wash my hair and take a shower.   After I awoke and had my breakfast, I would start working on writing the blog or recording Podcast.  Or sometimes I would read Bible and renew my own mind to Word of God.  Or meditate on scripture. Or pray.  Or do some of all of the above.  Sometimes I would make a note on my calendar to wash my hair at 3 or 4 pm after I finished all of my daily work.  But then when 3 or 4 came, I would often be very tired and would postpone my shower until the next day because I was so tired.  One day, this idea came:  Take your shower before you begin your work, before you get tired.  A very simple, but effective solution for me from God.

πŸ’₯  Medical problem:  I have allergies which attack my eyes from time to time and cause extreme itching.  I had tried over counter medicines and various prescriptions from basic medical care nurse and from regular eye specialist, with minor success.  One day, I took some Nyquil and found this helped the problem more than anything else. I reported what I was doing to my eye doctor and he was amazed that this helped so much.  But it did, so I kept taking a small dose each night when I went to bed.  Throughout the next day I found the allergy did not attack me in my eyes when I did this.  But I also take a regular Ambien pill at night to help with sleep.  I didn't know exactly what to do about when to take which medicine.  I remembered to pray!  When I prayed, I was surprised, for I was led to reverse the order of the two medicines and take them about 2 hours apart when I went to bed.  So I began taking a small dose of the liquid Nyquil first before the sleeping pill.  There has been no side effect and the allergy has continued to be controlled.  God also showed me to take a slightly different type of Ambien.

πŸ’₯  Pam Padgett's older cat died.  (I live in Pam's home.)  We were both grieved when Patches died. I knew Pam was especially grieved.  I prayed and I heard this from God"She can always get a new kitten."  When Pam came downstairs that day, I told her what I heard from God and Pam burst out laughing and her grief over Patches vanished.  A few weeks later, we went to pick up the new kitten. A young child was holding one kitten and Pam brought the other kitten out to the car.  I said to Pam, "Have you thought about taking both kittens?"  Pam was even happier with this idea.  We have been greatly entertained for the past seven months watching those 2 kittens grow up and play together!

πŸ’₯  2018:  I fell at my house in Texas where I lived alone.  During the months prior to this fall, I had begun to feel the time was coming that I would not be able to continue to live alone.  I was 81 years old at that time.

With this fall, I had a very badly broken left wrist and a broken hip.

As the ambulance workers rolled me past the front door of my house to take me to hospital, I heard the following from God:  "You'll never see this house again."  So while I was in the hospital, I put the house up for-sale.

After surgery, they sent me to rehabilitation hospitals where I spent the next 2 1/2 months.

I didn't know "where" I would be going but I knew God would work it out.

(I really didn't know if I would continue to live and I didn't ask God if I would live but I was sure God would have something planned for me one way or another.)

Before surgery, a nurse came into my room.  She said I had to sign a form putting someone in charge if I could not make medical decisions for myself.  We had one church member living in Lubbock, Texas, where I lived and she happened to be in my hospital room at the time the nurse came to get me to sign these papers.  I'm sure she expected me to put her in charge.  Without any thought at all I said to the nurse:  "Pam Padgett is in charge."  Sandra was very shocked.  She replied:  "How can Pam be in charge?  She doesn't even live here.  She is 400-miles away."  I replied, "I don't know how she can be, but she is."

Pam ended up flying 3 or 4 times from Denver to Lubbock, Texas, during the 2 1/2 months I was in hospital.

(At the exact same time that I was in the hospital, Pam Padgett, in Colorado, was finishing remodeling of her house, changing one of the downstairs rooms into a bedroom and changing the downstairs bath into a full bath.  This was completed in mid-January 2019.  I moved to that room on February, 24, 2019.)

One of Pam's neighbors was really impressed by this.  It was obviously some kind of "supernatural" working planned by God!  The neighbor, a Catholic, was very aware of this being done by God.

Isaiah 45:2  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

John 10:4  Jesus says:  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

(Pam has done all the technical work for the ministry since 2012 when I was shown in a dream to start a blog.  I have had an experience for several years watching the way Pam makes decisions.  I know she prays over what she does.  She hears from God.  She follows what God shows her to do.  She is exactly the kind of person I would want making decisions if I were unable to make decisions for myself.)

πŸ’₯  I have many experiences in following God, and even before I was born again, I now realize God was leading me and taking care of me, training me for HIS own purpose.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

I'm sure God does this for all who are born again.

You may not realize God is going before you and making everything right for you according to that which is HIS OWN Purpose.  I didn't realize until recently that God had caused all these things to work according to HIS purpose for me from the time I was born on this earth, but now I know that.  And I know as long as God leaves me on this earth HE will do that.

And God will do that for you also when you belong to HIM.

It is helpful for us to know that.

Podcast: Unclean "religious" spirits in people at religious gatherings

In the end times, Jesus said many would say HE is the Christ and they would deceive many.

Matthew 24

3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Mark 3

11 And unclean spirits, when they saw HIM, fell down before HIM, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

In these cases, it is not the Spirit of God acknowledging Jesus but an unclean spirit in a person speaking.

And that unclean spirit is in that person and speaks through that person, even in that person's voice.

(Often that person will have no memory later of speaking such a thing as he spoke.)

12 And HE (Jesus) straitly charged them that they should not make HIM known.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Several years ago, I visited a non-denominational church.  Pastor was teaching the Sunday school class.  All of a sudden a woman in the congregation jumped up and began waving her arms in the air and started shouting, "Praise God ... Praise God" and she ran completely around the chairs as she shouted!

I was horrified.

But the pastor and congregation got very excited and laughed and shouted.

They thought this was the Holy Spirit but I knew it was "another spirit".

This woman should have been stopped from speaking and that unclean spirit cast out of her.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The apostle Paul did not allow that girl with the fortunetelling-spirit to continue to speak as she followed him around:

Acts 16

16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.  And he came out the same hour.

The words this woman spoke were right but she spoke by an unclean spirit which grieved Paul and Paul would not allow it to continue.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

As I read Mark 3:11, I also thought of the numerous times individuals in a church group, often during song service, will begin waving hands in the air seeming to be in some kind of "religious trance" .

That spirit in them that seems to be praising God grieves me!

I believe these persons have in themselves unclean spirits as are in Mark 3:11.

(I often felt some strange spirit seeming to be religious operating in those individuals.)

Devils like to do things which appear to be religious, making that person they are living in to seem special in religious ways.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Often individuals at church have come to me saying they saw an angel.

I've never seen an angel that I know of, but I believe I have heard a word of God from an angel speaking to me.

In the night, shortly after I was born again, I was sleeping when a very loud trumpet-like voice blasted 3 words into my ear:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"  (By this God caused me to go on radio, exhorting the church in the Word of God.)

When an angel carries a message to us, it is very important.

Often in the Bible we read about angels delivering messages.

But when church people have come reporting that they saw an angel, I did not benefit but felt them to be "puffed up", and their reports grieved me.

Matthew 10:16   (Jesus said)  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Hymn: Beneath the cross of Jesus

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Beneath the cross of Jesus
I fain would take my stand,
The shadow of a mighty Rock

Within a weary land;
A home within the wilderness,

A rest upon the way,
From the burning of the noontide heat,

And the burden of the day.

2.  Oh, safe and happy shelter!
Oh, refuge tried and sweet!
Oh, trysting place where heaven’s love

And heaven’s justice meet *.
As to the holy patriarch

That wondrous dream was given,
So is my Savior by the cross

A ladder up to heaven.

3.  There lies beneath its shadow,
But on the farther side,
The darkness of an awful grave

That gapes both deep and wide;
And there between us stands the cross,

Two arms outstretched to save,
Like a watchman set to guard the way

From that eternal grave.

4.   Upon that cross of Jesus
Mine eye at times can see
The very dying form of One,

Who suffered there for me;
And from my smitten heart, with tears,

Two wonders I confess,
The wonders of His glorious love,

And my own worthlessness.

5.  I take, O cross, thy shadow
For my abiding place;
I ask no other sunshine than

The sunshine of His WORD;
Content to let the world go by,

To know no gain nor loss,
My sinful self my only shame,

My glory all the cross.

* where heaven’s love And heaven’s justice meet: heaven's love is shown by God's sacrifice of His Son, and Jesus' willingness to die for us.  Heaven's justice requires payment for our sins for it to be just.  The only payment sufficient to justify our sins is the blood of Jesus.

πŸ’₯ Who are the saints?

The saints are all the people who are born again ... the church.

Philippians 1:1  Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

1 Corinthians 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Romans 15:26  For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The saints are all who are born again by God by HIS Spirit.

πŸ’₯ Young couple from church who said God told them to go to Israel and preach the gospel.

In their late 20's or early 30's, a married couple at church told us God had spoken to them telling them to go to Israel and preach the gospel.

I have often heard from God and have done many things which seemed easy to me because it was the will of God and HE showed me what to do.

I think it might be easier to do these things than to hear others say they are going to do such a thing because you are not really certain they know the voice of God or that it was God speaking to them.

I had so much experience with God and I know the voice of God and I know the characteristics of the wisdom that is from above and when I do something I will have a very strong basis before I do anything.

Was it really God speaking?

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Pam Padgett was a computer programmer at FedEx.  She decided to take early retirement.

It was a big decision for her.  Her monthly salary would change from approximately $8,500 per month to approximately $3000 per month.

When she told us she had decided to retire, I did have some concerns.

But I have watched Pam make decisions for many years, and I was sure she would seek God for the confirmations from God that she needed to go ahead with this plan.

So I said nothing at all to Pam.

I was a little concerned over all the time she would have to fill daily after she stopped her secular job.

Pam's house was paid for.  Her car was paid for.  So far as I knew, her way of life was a debt-free life.  This would make the loss of money each month to be much easier.  Even then it would be a big change in the flexibility that Pam would have in what she would be able to do.

But I knew Pam could seek God and follow God.

January 2012 Pam retired.

(It would mean a big loss each month in tithes and I was very aware of this.)

March 28, 2012  ... God gave me a dream showing me to start a blog.

I called Pam immediately and asked her if she would set up a blog for us.  Within 3 days we were publishing on our new blog.  None of us had ever had any experience with a blog.

November 2015 ... We began writing books on Amazon.  (Pam did all the technical work required to publish each book and to keep distribution going with Amazon.)

Podcast February 2020 ... God gave me multiple dreams concerning starving "kittens" for me to feed which turned out to be Christians who need to be fed.

February 2019 ... God moved me to live in Pam Padgett's house in Colorado.  This gave both of us more money.

(My initial concerns about Pam and retirement were met very abundantly by God.  We both had more money as a result.  Pam had plenty of work to do on ministry publications daily. )

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

A few weeks later, this young couple who quit their secular jobs and  had gone to Israel to "minister" returned to the church in Dallas.

What happened?

We all wanted to know.

The main thing I recall them saying is this:  They could not speak the language and they found it impossible to work in Israel.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The only thing that really matters in anything we do in this life is this:  Was it God who told me to do this thing?

To me, the voice of God sounds very different from the voice of spirits of devils.

To try the spirits to see if that spirit speaking is from God, I would want what that  "spirit" is telling me to fit the characteristics of the wisdom that is from above.

James 3

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus said:

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

(I'm 84-years-old now and my life is better than it has ever been.  This reminds me of that which the Bible says about the prophet Job's life:  Job 42:12-13 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.  He had also seven sons and three daughters.)

If God told you to do something, it will work.

Podcast: Those who were offended with Jesus looked for wrong doing in Jesus.

Mark 3

1 And HE (Jesus) entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

2 And they watched HIM, whether HE would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse HIM.

3 And HE saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

4 And HE saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

5 And when HE had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, HE saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against HIM, how they might destroy HIM.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

If we allow ourselves to be offended by that which someone says to us, evil will go into our hearts against that person and we will be perverted in our hearts even looking for that person to do wrong that we may accuse him, and our judgment against that person might even be evil because of the evil that lodged in our own heart.

If we have taken offense against another person, we must turn to God to allow God to heal our hearts.

Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Hymn: Up from the grave HE arose

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.   Low in the grave He lay —
Jesus my Savior!
Waiting the coming day —

Jesus my Lord!

Chorus:

Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes.
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,

And He lives forever in His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

2.   Vainly they watch His tomb
Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead—

Jesus my Lord!

3.  Death cannot keep his prey—
Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away—

Jesus my Lord!

Scriptures pertaining to this hymn:

Matthew 27:59  And when Joseph had taken the body (of Jesus), he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

Matthew 27:62-66  Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.  Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

***

Matthew 28:1-4  In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

(These women also prepared and brought to the tomb fine smelling spices, for when the body decays there is a stink and they wanted to cover up that odor.  They didn't know there would be no decaying body where Jesus was concerned for God would not "suffer" Jesus' body to see corruption as other flesh saw corruption.  Jesus' body and soul were removed by God from the tomb.)

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His (the angel's) countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

***

Luke 24:1-7  Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,

Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen:

remember how HE spake unto you when HE was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

***

Acts 13:35-37   Wherefore he (David) saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
But HE, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

When they entered the tomb of Jesus, His body was gone as well as His Spirit.  God did not allow Jesus' body to decay the way of normal flesh.
