Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 18:32 ... It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

Eph. 6:10 ... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Paul said:  Romans 7:18 ... For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:

Jesus said:  Jn. 6:62 ... It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: 

Our strength is in that which God has said to us personally by His Spirit which dwells in us. This word spoken directly to us by the Spirit of God is our strength in the matter at hand.  We heed those instructions.  We hold fast to those words. We move according to those words.  We stay still according to those words.

Mt. 16 ... When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:  some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

The rock was this word spoken by God to Peter.

The rock is that word revealed to us by God on the matter at hand.

The rock is not a scripture that we hunt by our own thinking.

The rock is a scripture when God reveals that scripture by the Spirit of God.

There is a vast difference between quoting a scripture by your own mind and quoting a scripture which is called to your mind by the Spirit of God.

There is no power when you quote by your mind.

There is great power when you share a scripture given to you by the Spirit of God.

And if you quote a scripture by your flesh without the Spirit of God it is a blasphemy against the scripture for you make the scripture of none effect. 

A sun and shield for us

Psa. 84:11-12 ... For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. 12O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. 


The Lord God ... THE WORD GIVEN US BY GOD ... is both a sun and a shield.

We have to think of that word God has given us concerning the various issues of this present life and be sure we take appropriate action in that issue based on that word from God.  We must not go in a way opposite to that word on the subject.

For example:  God gave me a dream show my cousin will judge me incorrectly and she will not listen to me but will continue in her own judgment against me.  There was no choice for me in the dream but to leave her house.

With this type of information from God I have a "sun", showing me what to do, and as I do that, I am shielded.

It would be very foolish if I tried to talk with her since I have this information from God.

Each of us must examine the information God has given us in various situations and go that way.

No good will HE withhold from them who walk uprightly ...

If the situation is viewed as "good" in the sight of God, HE will not withhold it from those who walk uprightly.

Some things we view as good might be viewed by God as being bad for us in that situation.  God will protect us from ourselves.

Hebrews 10:19-23 ... Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

First, we draw near to God with a true heart ...

We take each concern to God in prayer, trusting God, believing God will help us with that specific concern.  We settle everything daily with God in prayer.  We structure our lives by the Bible ... no fornication, no drunkenness, no covetousness, no idolatry, no railing, no extortion.  I Cor. 5  This way we can live in peace even in the midst of a wicked world.  John said this world is wicked. I Jn. 5 ... And Paul said the wickedness increases as we go along.  II Tim. 3

So first, we deal with our heart through prayer.

Second, we keep a "full assurance of faith" ... continually purposing daily to choose to have faith in what God says about the issue at hand regardless of what we see with our eyes or hear from other humans.  We are steadfast, anchored in what God has shown us.

For example:  In a dream, God showed me one of my cousins.  She was blaming me for something I did not do.  She was accusing me to other people.  I tried to reason with her telling her I did not do that but she would not hear me and went on in her way.  I left her house.  I know God is showing me what to do in her case.  My intention is to do what God has shown me, having nothing to do in future with this cousin.  (She is 82 years old now.)

So we go forward in peace heeding what God has shown us and holding fast to that and seeking God when we are troubled, praying to God about each concern of this present life and trusting in that which God shows us after we pray.

Forgiveness ... but don't continue in that sin

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 


Jesus forgave this woman, but there was an instruction attached to the forgiveness.

Go, and sin no more ...

You can't keep doing that sin.  In her case, it was sin of adultery.  In some cases it is sin of fornication. You must not keep doing that sin after you repent and are forgiven.  If you continue in that sin after you know it is a sin you place yourself in a position of a "sin unto death"  I Jn. 5 ... If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Concerning fornication, covetousness, drunkenness, extortion, idolatry , railing ...

I Cor. 5 ... Paul says ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Psalm 5:11-12 ...  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name (the Word) be joyful in thee. 12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Right now, Jesus sits on the right hand of God and intercedes for each of us who belong to God.  (Romans 8:34)  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

John tells us how to know if we love God.

I Jn. 2 ... And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  


If we keep the word of God that is given us by the Holy Spirit, we love God.  This is love.  Keeping the word given us by the Spirit of God.

Not partaking of abominations

I would like to share with the church what happened to me not too long ago.  There was a woman that was a friend of my mother who went to school with her years ago.  My mother passed away in 1977.  This woman was supposed to be a minister.  She preached at my mother's funeral back then.  One day she called my cousin who knew each other also.  She had asked my cousin for my phone number.  She also asked my cousin how I was doing.  This cousin of mine told her I was born again Christian. 

Then I received a phone call from her, she asked me how I was doing?  I told her thanks to be saved in CHRIST.  Then she asked me would I like to talk to my mother, right away I told her no.  Then I said in Deuteronomy 18 GOD is against such a thing as this.  She said I know.  After she said that I told her I have no more words for you, and I hung up the phone on her.  Two months later she died. 

In chapter 18 verse 11 in Deuteronomy there is a word necromancer - which means communication with the deceased.  Also in that same chapter GOD speaks against other things HE disapproves of. 

Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Concerning asking humans questions about doctrine

Recently a man read something I wrote and said to me, "I want to ask you a couple of questions."

I replied:  "What you should do when you have such a question is ask God about it."

Later I wrote the following to this man:

Paul told something to Timothy and then Paul said, Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. II Tim. 2:7

When you wanted to ask me "a couple of questions" about something I wrote, I told you to pray, asking God.

This is what I do ... then it is God who stabilizes you in the issue and you have a very firm foundation.

I believe what Paul did here in II Tim. 2:7 is the correct way to go, for understanding is from God and unless God opens our eyes we will wrestle with our minds and reason and not have the proper anchor and we might even cast aside the truth because it may conflict with our own thinking or previous doctrines.  So ask God about it.

The practice of being slain in the spirit

In some church groups, people go forward and line up and a minister goes down the line laying hands on them one person at a time and the individual falls over backward and someone stands behind the line and catches the person as he falls and lowers him to the ground.

They call this:  Slain in the spirit

There is no such things as this in the Bible.

What they are doing is a learned thing as they watch this happen it seems spiritual so they yield to falling backward, knowing someone will catch them.

There is no significance at all in this act.

It reminds me of the old time "Holy Rollers" who fell to ground and rolled about on the floor thinking they had the spirit come upon them.

But the Spirit of God gives us the following:  II Tim. 1:7 ... For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Recently a man mentioned Ananias and Sapphira his wife (Acts 5) when they fell down dead for lying to the Holy Spirit ... but this is not being slain in the spirit ... Ananias and Sapphira were killed by God.  They were slain in the flesh and the spirit left them.

The practice known as slain in the spirit which is practiced today at some churches is a false doctrine.  It is the same type of thing as the false doctrine of eating crackers and drinking grape juice and calling it the Lord's supper.  The Lord's supper is eating and drinking the word of God and putting that specific word from God into daily practice in your life.  By doing this you eat Jesus.  Please read:  What is the Lord's supper?

Pay attention to dreams

One way God speaks to His people is through dreams.

Pay attention.

Pray for the interpretation of the dream.

Dreams were often used in the Bible for the church.  Dreams were also used for the New Testament church.

I've had many dreams where God showed me what to do ... and where God showed me what not to do ... and where God showed me things to come.

We glorify God each time we tell something God said to us by His Spirit and each time we do what God said to do.

Here are some examples:

I would like to share with the church how GOD is a helper to me.  I have dog name mi mi.  I had to take her to the humane society to see about getting her teeth clean. They examined her teeth and told me they needed to be cleaned and also told me how much it would start off costing. 211.00 dollars if she did not have to have any teeth pull, that would be 30 .00 dollar per teeth if needed. So I made a appointment.  I call the place a day before the appointment and ask again about the price. The lady on the phone told me 575.00 dollars to 900.00 depending what have to be done. I said that not what I was told when I brought my dog in to be examined. Then said to  her that is a lot. I said ok . They also said I needed to stop feeding her the soft dog food because it would cause a build up on her teeth, and start giving her dry food.

After talking with the lady I told GOD that is a lot of money.  So me and my wife start talking it over about the costs.  She also agreed it was a lot.  We also talk about what kind of food to give her.  My wife said the dog need dog food with vegetables in it. I said ok.

That night before going to sleep I ask God for help.  I had a dream that I walk right into the humane society getting ready to approach the counter when a man stood right in front of me and said it cost too much money here. Then he show me a dog bowl and said this what to feed your dog. It was vegetable with dry food in it.  Then I woke up.

I start thinking about what me and my wife was talking about what kind of food to feed our dog with vegetable.  That morning I cancel that appointment, and thank GOD for His WORD.

I still needed to take my dog some where to be treated. I ask GOD were could I take my dog? And a thought came to my mind about this small animal hospital that no more then 4 miles from my house. It was early that morning about 7 am. I drove up to the hospital to get the phone number off the building.  Went back and waited until it open at 8 am. I call and ask if they clean dog teeth and they said yes. The cost for the cleaning would be 108 dollars.  Also if they had to pull teeth it would be 15 dollars per teeth.  I made appointment.  After that I PRAISES MY GOD for helping me.  With the shots and one small teeth to be pull also I had to have medicine, teeth cleaning came to 495.00 dollars.

This scripture came to mind ...  Psalms 46:1 GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.   

Our dog is doing just fine.

Many years ago when I first started going to college, God showed Himself strong on my behalf. My older sister had been at college two years when I started attending the same school.  She dated a man who was a member of a fraternity, and had become a member of the fraternity's "women's auxiliary", assisting with fraternity social functions.  She was very excited for me to join the social circles she was in, and especially wanted me to meet members of the fraternity.

The first week of school my sister invited me to go to a student bar where many of the fraternity guys gathered on Thursday nights.  I went, but found what was going on there to be so bad (lewdness, drunkenness, etc.) that I was unable to stay and I walked back to the dormitory.

A week or so later my sister asked if I'd go to an outdoor luau with one of the freshmen "pledges" at the fraternity.  The luau site was about 20 miles away near a river, and there would be a campfire.  The setting was very appealing to me, plus I was excited about having a date, and I agreed to go.

Then, a few days before the luau, my sister told me that arrangements had been made for one of the other fraternity guys to take me to the luau because my date would be spending the day at the luau site building a hut for us ... a young man I had never even met was building a hut "for us"! 

Suddenly the reality of this luau became very clear to me.  This was not going to be people sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows.  The lewdness and drunkenness I had seen at the student bar was probably mild compared to what would be going on at this luau ... and I wouldn't be able to walk home.

I told my sister that I couldn't go along with this and did not want to go, but she kept insisting that it was too late for me to back out, that it was too late for this guy to find another date. 

I turned very strongly to God, asking Him to somehow get me out of this situationThere seemed no way out.  At one point I asked God to let me have appendicitis, preferring to be in a hospital having surgery than to go to this luau.

The morning of the luau I woke up and checked to see if I might have any pain that would indicate appendicitis, and was disappointed that I felt fine.  I kept praying for God to somehow work this out.  Time was really running out!  When I looked outside, it was raining a little, but not much. However, the rain became heavier and heavier as the day went on.

Around 2 pm I received a call from the fraternity guy who planned to take me to the luau site.  He told me how sorry he was to have to tell me this, but the luau had to be cancelled.  The luau site had been totally flooded, washing away all the huts that had been built, which would include the hut my date had built for us.    He told me how long the luau had been held at this same site (many years) and, although there had been rain at times in the past, nothing like this had ever happened before, flooding and causing the luau to be cancelled.

I rejoiced, knowing that God had delivered me.

How to do the work of God

When God was training me to do the work of God, He gave me this pattern set by Paul.

I Cor. 2 ... And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 

Don't try to speak cleverly devised stories to tickle the ears of man.

Just read the Bible and pay attention to scripture that stands out and listen to Holy Spirit.

This is what I did.

And when I had a meeting and stood before people, I didn't have anything to say to them.  I just stood there and when God called a scripture to my mind I began to speak that.  And when God called a dream to my mind, I spoke that.  And when God called an example of something that had happened to my mind, I spoke that.

I know this met the needs of the people because God knew what they needed and HE brought what to say to my mind by His Spirit.

I had a friend who began reading scripture at his church group.  He told me he practiced how to read the scripture.  He didn't realize the power is not in the ability of a human to speak well in the view of humans.  The power is in the scripture provided it is spoken by the Holy Spirit.  In his case the scripture was just planned ahead as men do these things and it is unlikely the power of God was there at all.

Kenneth Copeland said he memorized the words of preacher Kenneth Hagin and spoke those words when he went into the ministry.

Marilyn Hickey hired an acting coach to make her more interesting.

God showed me just ignore everything and just speak what He brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit.

This is what Paul did.

It is even what Jesus did ... Jesus said ... Jn. 5:30 ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.   This is another example God gave me when He was teaching me what to do as I went into the ministry.


These scriptures are important to ministers and also to the church non-ministers.  Listening to the Spirit of God and following God by His Spirit and refusing to go in the flesh is the way to go for all who belong to God.

Psalm 34:9 ... 9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

There is no want to them who fear Him because they hear from God and know to do things any way other than that God has said is dangerous.  So when they hear from God they lay aside everything they planned to do and do what they hear from God to do.  This puts them in the right paths which automatically leads to green pastures and good water where there is "no want".

The flesh profits nothing

Jn. 6:63 ... Jesus said ... It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

This is one of the first verses of scripture God gave me when HE was training me to be a minister.

Your own flesh profits nothing.  It is only when I (God) reveal something to you that you have power to do the work.  You can try to find a scripture to show you what to do but unless I (God) reveal it to you, it is only found by your flesh and mind and will profit nothing though it is a scripture, said God to me.

And God taught me to wait on HIM ... focus on that He revealed by HIS Spirit.

This is true for all who belong to God.  Your own flesh will profit nothing.  You can reason all day and still not have truth.  Only when God gives you understanding do you have truth in that matter.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Isaiah 40:8 ... The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

You can see the grass with your natural eye.

All things you can see with your natural eye will be destroyed.

The Word of God is spoken by the Spirit of God.  The Word is a thing of the Spirit.  It is not a thing of the flesh although some men try to make the Word a thing of the flesh because they use scripture by their flesh, having not the Spirit.

But the Word of God is spirit ... It cannot be destroyed.  It endures forever.

II Cor. 2:4 ... While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  

Correcting others while living in sin

Recently a woman came to us.  I believe she had the Spirit of God.  She was trying to correct people in church groups ... even correcting pastors and such .... No doubt they needed correcting.  But the problem is she, herself, was committing fornication while doing these corrections..  This is a terrible thing.

Paul says the following concerning those who come among the church while committing fornication and other sins ...

I Cor. 5 ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Here is a letter I wrote to that woman:

It is hard to image you could criticize blind church goers who probably do not have the Spirit of God while you lived in fornication having the Spirit of God.

This is so evil it is beyond my comprehension.

For the time being I don't want to receive emails from you. 

You don't need to be talking at this point.

If possible, you need to get your life straight and live a godly life in Christ Jesus.

I have removed all reference to your name in our Internet writings.  Fortunately I am able to go back and delete items.

These writings are things God has shown us.  That is the way it should be.  I thought it was God showing you the evil in the churches but when you were living in fornication and writing these things it is just not compatible.

Please do not respond to this email.  I don't need to hear your words.  Just learn to live decently and honestly and morally according to the Bible if you can.

After I wrote this to her, I kept being reminded of Esau who sold his birthright for a morsel of meat.

Heb. 12 ... Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Heb. 10 ... For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

We cannot, and will not, allow willful sin to sit among us in the body of Christ, the church.

Notice that Paul said to put such a person away from you when they call themselves a "brother" and are a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner ... with such an one no not to eat.  I Cor. 5  (Many pastors today are extortioners, westing money from the congregation with false promises which seem based on scripture but where the scripture is misused, such as the 100-fold return scripture ... see writing:  "Ministers who use 100-fold return to extort money")

I believe "willful sins", after one has been enlightened by God to the truth, are sins unto death as per I Jn. 5.

John says:  I Jn. 5:16 ... If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Certainly God will judge these people.  But in meantime, we are to put them away from us and this is what I did in this case and I have done this before in the past in the church.

The revealed word from God

17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

The rock is the word God reveals to us on the subject at hand.  You can safely depend on the revealed word from God.

The church (we individuals who have the Spirit of God in us) is built upon this word revealed from God by His Spirit.

The gates of hell will not prevail against that which God reveals to us by His Spirit.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 32:8 ... I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

When God guides us with His eye, He will lead us according to the way He sees the situation.  When that happens we often end up doing and saying things that humans rarely think and often we will seem very wrong.  God's view is not the view of man.

Isaiah 55 ... For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  

Example:

Recently my cousin called me.  She told me all manner of problems in her life.  She was defeated and overwhelmed by her problems.

This cousin has gone to church all her life.  But there is no victory in her life when she speaks.  She never speaks of what God has done in her life.  She just speaks of her problems.

She wanted me to come visit her.  She lives 200 miles away.  I explained I do not leave town and do not drive out of town.  My car will be 20 years old next year.

Later I wrote to her and told her I would rent a car and drive there if she wanted to talk about spiritual things.  (This cousin is 90 years old.)  But if she wanted to talk about fleshly things that would not be profitable.  I enclosed the writing:  What happens when we die? ... and a few pages from Booklet #2: Dealing with Destructive Thoughts

She wrote me a letter.  I suspected the letter might not be good but evil.  So I opened it and very carefully folded the end of the page so I would only be able to see her first sentence which was typed.

She said:  "It is very evident you care nothing at all about your relatives.  I remember when you were a little girl and how curly your hair was."  (She went on to say many more words which I did not read.)

At the bottom of her letter I wrote the following and sent it to her:  "I'm sorry you misunderstand ... I wanted you to be able to live in peace in your remaining time on this earth ... I wanted you to learn to turn to God and overcome through Him."

That is all I said.  I mailed the letter to her and did not hear from her again.  If she does call me, I do not plan to pick up the phone.  If she repents, I don't need to hear her.  If she fights against me, I don't need to hear her.  If she mails me a letter I plan to take it to dumpster in alley and throw it away unopened.  I just do not need to know what she does from this point on.


Recently someone was striving with me.  I told her I was reminded of Paul saying not to trouble him for he bore the stripes of Jesus ... I looked this up and found it in Galatians 6.

 Gal. 6:17 ... From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

Paul was saying:  You know how I live.  You know the call of God on my life.  You know the many sufferings I have endured for the sake of the word of God.  Don't trouble me.

I shared this with this woman and she repented.


When you reach out and touch an anointed of God, a prophet of God, you put yourself in serious danger.  If you choose to do this, you'd better be sure God has shown you to do this.  If you are acting on an "impression" that impression might be from a devil and not from God.  You'd better be sure it is God telling you to do this if you do it.

Also I was reminded of the following amazing example:


II Samuel 6 ... Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. 2And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.   3And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.   4And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.  5And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
6And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.   7And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God. 


When you know a person is anointed by God and you think that person is slipping, you'd better be sure you are viewing the situation by the Spirit of God if you set about to correct that person.

God's ways are not our ways.  God sees things differently from humans.  God might have that prophet do something that looks very wrong.

You'd better just take the issue to God and let Him explain it to you when it seems strange.

Do you feel fulfilled?

Recently a woman asked me if I feel "fulfilled" ... I replied as follows ...


I am a servant of God.  I want to please God.  I want to do things the way God wants them done because I am HIS servant.  I wouldn't want to disappoint God.

And I love the scriptures ...

And I love the words spoken by the Holy spirit which are the word of God.



John says:  I Jn. 2 ... And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Doing the word of God is not a burden ... it frees us ...

Serving fornication is a terrible bondage ... You have to hunt a man and do everything to entice him into your bed ... and are trapped by him

Doing the world of God frees us from our flesh.

Fulfillment ... I never think of fulfillment.

There was a time I thought strongly of achievement.  I earned degrees, even a doctorate, to be able to advance in my field.  Later I owned a business and was on brink of making a great deal of money. 

I was born again in 1975 and after that the only thing I cared about was the Bible.

I still wanted to marry but the Bible was the main thing.  I had no idea at that time I was to be a minister.

Then I was taken into heaven twice and was merged into the Body of Jesus ... God and Holy Spirit witnessed ... (I saw no images ... it was done in the Spirit)

Then I was really on fire for things of God.

I still wanted to marry.  This was not the will of God for me.

Mainly I am a servant of God and not a servant of myself.

I learned not to think of tomorrow.  I learned not to make plans.  I gave up all things that would cause me to achieve in this present life.  Phil. 2 ...Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant

I did this because I saw how much evil I was growing into by playing bridge and striving to get ahead of others.  Finally it exploded.  I just walked out never to return.  For 6 months I just sat alone at my house.  It was difficult but I could see nothing else to do.  God had mercy on me and gave me the Internet to do.  I still sit here alone ... but I do enjoy writing what I hear from God.

Most people cannot be helped ... few find the way of life...

Mt. 7 ...Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 

The cost seems too great to them.

But to me going in the word of God is the only safe way to go on this earth.  So even when it appears it will destroy me to obey a word from God, I know it is the only safe way.

Few know this ... most go in the way of destruction ... perhaps to fulfill themselves on this earth.

Instead I make my self of no reputation on this earth.  I learned to take no thought of tomorrow.  I have learned to be content with having food and raiment and I don't want much raiment for I don't go anywhere.  The only people I want to talk with are the other servants of God.  There are few of them.

But all else is really futile ... You talk about fullfilled ... one of the worse things is to be with people who say they are of God but violate the Word of God.  There is no way this can lead to fulfillment.  It only leads to frustation.

But the bottom line is this:  Do you really love God?  If so, you will want to fulfill his word and please Him ... and you will see His will daily as you try to please Him.

Paul felt this way also.  Romans 8...For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

One problem you are having is you are trying to figure everything out with your mind ... that won't work.

You are also trying to see the whole picture to the end of your life on this earth ... that won't work.

What will work is to do today what God shows you to do.

And to talk to God ... asking what HE wants you to do ... this is continual ... learning to talk to God about all your fears and doubts as they come to your mind. .. 

You don't have to figure out everything to the end of your life on earth.

All you have to deal with is what God wants you to do today and doing that which God has shown you to do and to keep doing daily that word which God shows you.

This is how you get to end of your life.

Do today what God shows you .. This is the only way it will work.
 

Teach me Thy way, O Lord

What I am going to say now may be shocking and may seem wrong but please keep reading I you will see how much I love scripture when it is given by the Spirit of God.

You cannot follow a scripture unless God has given you that scripture by His Spirit.

I know many pastors today who try to follow the following scripture and end up begging others for money because they don't have money to do this scripture.

Mk. 16:15 ... Jesus said ... Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.


If you back up to verse 14, you will see Jesus was speaking this instruction to his 11 apostles ...

Mk. 16 ... Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.  15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

This scripture might be used as instruction today if the Holy Spirit speak it to an individuals.

But I know many pastors today who have tried to use this scripture to justify their many works.  But they do not have money to pay for their works and they begin to beg for the church to pay for them and they use this same scripture to extort money from the church.  In such cases as this, they were not sent by God.  If they were sent by God, HE would go before them and provide for them in that work.  If the Lord is our shepherd (if we are following HIM by HIS Spirit) we shall not want.  We see the Lord is not their shepherd for they depend on humans to give them money to pay for their works and they extort money by trying to force humans through misuse of such scripture.

So you cannot blindly follow scripture.

When the Holy Spirit gives us that scripture then we set about to do that scripture.

To try to do a scripture without it being authored by the Holy Spirit is like the flesh trying to make New Year's Resolutions.  It won't work.

Recently a man who says he is a pastor said we can't really know the will of God.

If we have the Spirit of God, we can know the will of God in the matters that pertain to us on this present earth.

A man who says he is a pastor sent me the following email this week.


Dear Servant of God

Holy greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
I am writing from Kenya and it was by the grace of God that I visited the internet and I was privileged to find your contact after prayerfully reading and studying your web page. I was spiritually charged, moved and thrilled.
 My spiritual electricity went stronger to find that you have what we need for spiritual growth. Right now I do not feel like my feet are touching the ground because of the desire that has been ignited in me by reading your web page. I humbly pray that the Holy Spirit to visit your hearts and humbly spend time with us as our Spiritual mentors. We hunger and thirsty for your fellowship and teachings. If God provides the opportunity we beseech that Brethren make a MACEDONIAN TRIP here and help us, as the Lord will lead you. We pray for you and we hope that with God everything will work rightly.

The problem is this man sent me this exact same email a few months ago.   It is some kind of form letter to try to draw the other person to himself for his own purpose.






 

All nations "whom Thou hast made"

Psa. 86:9 ... All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

The thing that stands out to me is "whom Thou hast made" ... God choose the nation of Israel ... but many of them were destroyed and did not enter into that which God provided for them because of unbelief.

The "nation" which God has made in the new covenant is the church, those individuals to whom God has revealed Himself are the church.

We will glorify HIS name ... HIS name ... The Word.

Each time we, as individuals, do that which the Spirit of God speaks, we glorify God.

This is the only way to glorify God.

We do not glorify God by fleshly achievements as some athletics today try to show after they score touchdown on football field.  They may look into the heavens but their achievements glorify themselves, not God.

We glorify God each time we do that which God reveals to us by His Spirit.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Sometimes we get to see how those things work together for good.

A hail storm came and damaged the roof of my house.  The insurance company awarded me a new roof.  The roof was installed.  Living inside the house was completely different after the roof was installed.  I hardly ever need to turn on the air conditioning.  The heating is also much different in winter.  Apparently the original roof was faulty and the new roof provides very good insulation.  The hail storm worked for good and not evil.

What is a sin unto death?

I Cor. 6:9-10 ... Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Certainly at one time most of us did some of these things ... fornication, idolatry, adultery, sexual abuses, ... some were thieves.  Some covetous ... some drunkards ... some revilers ... some extortioners ... But after God revealed Himself to us, we changed.  We stopped our previous sins.  

Jesus told the woman taken in adultery:  "Go and sin no more."  Jn. 8 ... You can't keep doing those types of sins as you did before.

Make no mistake:  If you choose to continue in those sins after God has revealed Himself to you, then you are in great danger of cutting yourself off from the real people of God and you are in danger of not inheriting the kingdom of God.

Rev. 22 ... Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

You may think it impossible to give up that sin but nothing is impossible with God.  When you are weak, God makes Himself strong.  God makes a way of escape that you may be able to bear it when you turn to him in the temptation. (I Cor. 10:13)

The important things would be to call out to God for help and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof.  Rom. 13:14 ... 14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. 

Think on the things God has revealed to you for these words are anchors for your soul.   

John talked about a sin unto death.  I've often wondered what that would be.  Recently I have come to believe a sin unto death is continuing to sin in a specific area after you have the knowledge of the truth about that sin.  There is a cut off point for such things, a line where you must stop, going no farther... a valley of decision.

John says ... If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 

And in Hebrews 10, we read ... For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 

If all this seems hard to you and impossible, you are looking at it the wrong way.  You are trying to figure it out with your mind rather than turning to God with the problem and trusting in HIM.

Recently a woman came to us.  I believe she had the Spirit of God.  She was trying to correct people in church groups ... even correcting pastors and such .... No doubt they needed correcting.  But the problem is she, herself, was committing fornication while doing these corrections..  This is a terrible thing.

Paul says the following concerning those who come among the church while committing fornication and other sins ...

I Cor. 5 ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Here is a letter I wrote to that woman:

It is hard to image you could criticize blind church goers who probably do not have the Spirit of God while you lived in fornication having the Spirit of God.

This is so evil it is beyond my comprehension.

For the time being I don't want to receive emails from you. 

You don't need to be talking at this point.

If possible, you need to get your life straight and live a godly life in Christ Jesus.

I have removed all reference to your name in our Internet writings.  Fortunately I am able to go back and delete items.

These writings are things God has shown us.  That is the way it should be.  I thought it was God showing you the evil in the churches but when you were living in fornication and writing these things it is just not compatible.

Please do not respond to this email.  I don't need to hear your words.  Just learn to live decently and honestly and morally according to the Bible if you can.

After I wrote this to her, I kept being reminded of Esau who sold his birthright for a morsel of meat.

Heb. 12 ... Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

We cannot, and will not, allow willful sin to sit among us in the body of Christ, the church.

Notice that Paul said to put such a person away from you when they call themselves a "brother" and are a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner ... with such an one no not to eat.  I Cor. 5  (Many pastors today are extortioners, westing money from the congregation with false promises which seem based on scripture but where the scripture is misused, such as the 100-fold return scripture ... see writing:  "Ministers who use 100-fold return to extort money")

I believe "willful sins", after one has been enlightened by God to the truth, are sins unto death as per I Jn. 5.

John says:  I Jn. 5:16 ... If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Certainly God will judge these people.  But in meantime, we are to put them away from us and this is what I did in this case and I have done this before in the past in the church.
