Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

James 4:6-7 ... But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.  7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Submit yourselves to God:  Turn to God in prayer each time a negative thought, destructive thought, comes.  Pray, asking God about that which came to your mind.  Turn to God in prayer when an idea comes which would lead you to do a "good" work.  Pray, asking God if that is what HE wants you to do.  The devil also brings good ideas to us for the devil is an "angel of light" and the work can seem religious. (II Cor. 11:14 ... And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.)  Pray, asking God what HE wants you to do. Try the idea through prayer, asking God what HE wants you to do.

After prayer ... when God brings something to your mind by HIS Spirit use this to resist the devil ...  The gates of hell will not be able to stand against that word that is revealed to you by God.  (Mt. 16)

After you do these things, the devil will flee from you ... for a season.  When Jesus was tempted by the devil, Jesus resisted the devil with the word and the devil departed from Jesus "for a season".  Lk. 4:13 ... And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
