1 Corinthians 1:30-31 ... But of him (God) are ye in Christ Jesus, who of
God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and
redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let
him glory in the Lord.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Of God's will, by the will of God, we are in Christ Jesus, The Word.
It was shown me in a very graphic way after I was born again. In the night, I was taken into heaven and made one with Jesus, the Word of God. Put into Jesus by the Spirit, made one with Jesus in the Spirit. A few nights later this same thing happened again. I knew I was with God, with the Holy Spirit, with Jesus. God and the Holy Spirit witnessed as I was made one with Jesus in the Spirit. But it was all by the will of God.
We who are chosen by God are given the Spirit of Jesus, and thereby are made one in the Spirit with Jesus by HIS Spirit by the will of God.
That is everything: wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption through Jesus by the Spirit of God by the will of God.
Jesus, by HIS Spirit, shows us what to do as we live on this earth. Without that, we would stumble about in the dark as the world does.
And the Spirit of God dwells in us ... to teach us all things, to guide us into all truth, to remind us of everything Jesus has said, and to show us things to come. (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)
Without HIM, without HIS Spirit, we can do nothing and we know all things of God by HIS Spirit. For the Spirit of God knows the heart of God in the issue at hand and the Spirit of God reveals the will of God to us. (I Cor. 1) The masses go by the letter of the law. We who are of God go by that shown us by the Spirit of God. They give by the flesh, thinking the work makes them good. But we give only by the Spirit, doing that shown by the Spirit. They follow the flesh, their own thinking on the matter. We follow that which the Spirit reveals to us.
I receive so many invitations to go and speak to church groups and minister conferences. When I have prayed, I have been reminded by the Spirit of God of the following: Lk. 16 ... They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
By this from the Spirit of God, I am shown the will of God ... If they cannot receive from the Spirit of God by reading these writings, it will do no good at all for me to stand there in the flesh and speak to them.
When you have turned to God and have heard from HIM by HIS Spirit you have the strength needed to hold fast in the direction that is the will of God. Without this we would waver and pressures of men (will of humans and will of our own flesh) would be too weak to continue in the way that God chooses for us.
