Jesus says:
Matthew 24
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

A Baptist woman, by seeing iniquity, allowed her love toward many scriptures to wax cold and she turned opposite to the world of God and began telling other people it would do no good to bring correction because "they wouldn't do it."
We can set ourselves up for great disappointment and discouragement needlessly on this earth if we follow after the wrong thing.
We will see so much wrong done by humans that the devil can move into our own lives and cause us to believe a lie. And if we believe devils, our way of God and love of God can wax cold, leading us to destruction.

For one thing, this woman had followed after politics and put hope in politicians.
(By doing this she set herself up for a fall, for anytime we trust in man we are in great danger.)
About two years ago, I spoke with her by phone (she lives in another town), and she seemed to have given up following politics for she said to me with a slightly discouraged voice, "There is no hope in politics."
I rejoiced when she said this for she was one of the most political of all persons that I had ever seen! It seemed she had turned from this.
But this year, when I spoke to her, she wanted to speak of politics and I managed to stop her but I could tell she had gone back to following after politicians. She was much worse off than she was when she said there is no hope in politics.
The apostle Peter said:
2 Peter 2
21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

I could see she had given up hope in speaking the scriptures, and had believed a lie of devils, that it will do no good to speak scripture for they won't do it.
This is exactly opposite to hope in God ... This is antichrist.
Hebrews 3
6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
We must hold faithfully to the doctrines presented to us by the Holy Scriptures as long as we live on this earth. We must not let our love go cold. For Jesus said "many" would grow cold because of the iniquity of the end times. I saw this woman do that and she would have taken me with her had I allowed such.
I just kept saying to her: "As long as I live on this earth I will continue to speak the truth of the scriptures to those persons who come across my path and are going the wrong way."
God trained me this way a long time ago. "Speak the Word. Do not allow yourself to be affected by that which they do with the word you speak. Just focus on the Bible and keep speaking the Word."

God reminded me of my own mother who had followed horoscopes all her life until I spoke a portion of the Word of God to her.
The Holy Spirit reminded me of this scripture which I spoke to my mother.
Deuteronomy 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
After I read this to my mother, she sat quietly for a few minutes. Then she said: "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that any more."
She was changed instantly by God, born again.
My uncle wrote to me and said, "Your mother is changed. She is really different. She's changed."
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Timothy 4 (Paul exhorts Timothy)
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Do not be pulled away by their disobedience and their unbelief for that will destroy you also!
Keep your faith in God and in the Word of God. Hold onto the scriptures. Speak and do the scriptures to the end of your life. Set your love in God and the Holy Scriptures and don't let go.
Hebrews 3

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was HE grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
We must not let this happen to us.
Speak the Word. Hold fast to faith in God and in HIS Word as long as God leaves you on this earth.
Fight the good fight of faith in God and in the Word.
For many will depart from the faith being seduced by the unbelief of others.
Philemon v. 8 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

There are many opportunities at Christmas to praise people and deny God.
