πŸ’₯ Podcast: Answer to prayer

(This podcast was previously published on May 3, 2022)

Jesus said:  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.  (Matthew 10:36)

So it is not unusual when you speak the Word from God to have a relative or the church people fight against that Word.

In 1977, my cousin, Church of Christ member, once said to me, "Well ... I believe you are a Christian ... I just don't see how you can be one."

She did not understand being born again.

For the next 40-years, she fought me and tried to get me to quit the work I believe God gave me to do.

In 2019, she waged her last battle against me.  It was by exchange of letters for by this time she had gone totally deaf and could not hear by phone and the only communication I could have with her was by letter.  (She didn't know how to do email so we sent US mail to each other.)  She lived in another city from me, about 500 miles away.

She was 97-years-old at that time.

My prayer was that God would reveal to her before she died that I was of HIM and I was just trying to do that which HE told me to do.

(Then she could be saved and go to the new heaven, new Jerusalem.  But if she died fighting against me, that would be same as fighting against God.)

On May 31, 2021, God gave me a dream showing me this cousin now knows I was doing HIS work and we were at peace with one another.

I've always believed God could save a person at the time of that person's last breath on this earth.

Just speak the truth and hold fast to the truth when speaking to another person.  And quit worrying and have faith in God.

If we pray according to the will of God, our prayer will be answered.

I John 5:14-15   And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us:  And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.

πŸ’₯ Scriptures:

James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Colossians 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by HIM.

Matthew 10:29-31  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing (of small value)? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Psalm 34:4  I sought the Lord, and HE heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

1John 5:14-15  And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us:

πŸ’₯ Hebrews 13 (Reading through the Bible)

Let brotherly love continue.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation (Manner of life).

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.  11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that HE might sanctify the people with HIS own blood, suffered without the gate.

13 Let us go forth therefore unto HIM without the camp, bearing HIS reproach.

14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15 By HIM therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to HIS name.

16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do HIS will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in HIS sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints.

They of Italy salute you.

25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

πŸ’₯ Comforted by God when pet is lost

Linda Rodgers, member of the body of Christ

Just wanted to share what God did for me today in relation to a problem that started with one of my feral cats on June 10th.

This cat, I named Margo, came to my house approximately March, 2026 and stayed.  So I have been feeding her and decided to have her spayed and get a rabies shot.  My friend who does TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for neighborhood helped me and we took her in for the procedure.  Well, the facility called and said she was already fixed and had a chip!  So tried to find owner but phone number for chip was disconnected. So ran ad to see if owner would respond and a man called but his chip number was not this cat.  Bottom line, I decided to keep her and gave her name and thought that situation was over.

Well on June 10th, I fed Margo and Mylee (the other female feral I have) and that was it until the next morning.  She never came back and I have not seen her since, although I asked neighbors and drove around subdivision, nothing!

My life has been uprooted since this happened.  I know this may sound silly, but these cats are a great comfort to me and I care about them very much.

I was sitting in my chair and a scripture came to mind, Philippians 4: 6-7 "Be careful for nothing;  but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

I realized at that moment that I did a lot of talking to myself, but not God!!  And God got my attention with His word that sustained me and relieved all the torment and grieving that I was doing, had I just gone to God in the beginning!!

I feel so much better and restored by God's Word which I should have asked for in the beginning.  I got so consumed with my own feelings that I left out God, but He knew what I needed and helped me anyway.

What a wonderful God we have in spite of ourselves.  I am humbled by this whole event and feel so much better that God saved me!

Just as God helped Pam with the noise problem at her house, He reached me too.

I just had to share.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: God helps us continually by the Holy Spirit of Jesus

(This podcast was previously published on May 9, 2022)

God knows the future and HE leads us through this current "wilderness" by bringing to our mind ideas showing us what to do.

Or sometimes God will plant in our heart the truth of the situation and by that truth we know what to do.

Many things are coming upon this world because of the sins of the world and because of the sins of the apostate church groups who have fallen away from specific scriptures.

But in all troubles, God helps the elect of God, those who are born again and given the Holy Spirit.

For the Holy Spirit is used by God in guiding the New Testament church. Each person who belongs to God has the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Paul tells us this:

I Corinthians 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

And Jesus tells us what the Holy Spirit does for each of us.

John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Scriptures:

1 John 2:28  And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when HE shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming.

 ***

John 10:10  (Jesus says)  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

***

Mark 13:31  (Jesus says)  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but My words shall not pass away.

***

1 Timothy 2:1-2  (the apostle Paul said)...I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

***

Psalm 9:10  And they that know THY name (the Word) will put their trust in THEE: for THOU, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek THEE.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Hebrews 12 (Reading through the Bible)

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

(The race set before us ... God sets before us different assignments... what is important for each of us is to know our assignment and do that work.)

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

*****

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him: For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom HE receiveth.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but HE for our profit, that we might be partakers of HIS holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

12-13 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;   And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

*****

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:  21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,  23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25 See that ye refuse not HIM that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now HE hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: God's yoke is easy and HIS burden is light. If your yoke is hard, you have yoked yourself to something that is not of God

(This podcast was previously published on July 17, 2021)

In 1975, after I was born again, God began teaching me how to recognize ideas that are from God so I could go in the way of God on this present earth.

One of the first things God taught me is this:

Matthew 11:30   Jesus said:  MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.

If something was overly expensive, I knew I did not have God's plan.  If it was very difficult to do, I knew I did not have God's plan so I stopped and began praying again, asking God for HIS wisdom.

Promise from the Bible:

James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Recognizing the wisdom that is from God:

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Examples of wisdom from God given in this Podcast:

Matthew 5:44-45  But I (Jesus) say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for HE maketh HIS sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

4 Behold, HE that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

πŸ’₯ Hebrews 11 (Reading through the Bible)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But without faith it is impossible to please HIM: for he that cometh to God must believe that HE is, and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged HIM faithful who had promised.

12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

(Isaac is called by God Abraham's only begotten son ... in God's sight this is true ... Abraham had another son, Ishmael, but God didn't count him as a son to Abraham.)

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest HE that destroyed the firstborn should touch them
.
29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

*****

Comments by Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Everything is done by faith in God.

When we pray, we must first have faith that God will hear us.

When we stand on a scripture, we anchor our faith to that scripture, and we must believe that scripture will be fulfilled.

Isaiah 54:17    (for example)

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD.

And it is our faith in that which God has said that causes us to have a good report.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Lk. 12:40 Jesus says: Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not

(This podcast was previously published on August 31, 2024)

The important thing for each of us is not so much "when" Jesus comes, the day and such, but that which is important for each human is staying ready for the coming of Jesus.

God has clearly shown us the following:

2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Luke 21:33-36   Jesus says:  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

πŸ’₯ Hebrews 10 (Reading through the Bible)

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Wherefore when HE cometh into the world, HE saith, Sacrifice and offering THOU wouldest not, but a body hast THOU prepared Me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin THOU hast had no pleasure.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do THY will, O God.

Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin THOU wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Then said He, Lo, I come to do THY will, O God.

He taketh away the first, that HE may establish the second.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool.

14 For by one offering (HIMSELF) He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that He had said before,16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put MY laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto Me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; 33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: When Jesus returns, all nations of the earth will "mourn". Why?

(This podcast was previously published on April 10, 2022)

The people of this world build treasure for themselves while they live on this earth.  They seek after reputations among other people, empires of possessions, lands of this earth, buildings and all manner of things that we can see with our natural eyes.

When Jesus returns through the clouds, all these things will be destroyed by God at the end of this world.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In the Bible, the coming of Jesus is described as a thief coming in the night.

2 Peter 3:10-12  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

So to the people of this world, the coming of Jesus will signal the end of all they have worked for in this life and all they have accumulated and they will grieve greatly for they know it will all be gone, destroyed ... thus the coming of Jesus is like a thief in the night to the people of this world and all nations of this world will "mourn" when they see Jesus coming in the clouds!

But the elect of God look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness!

13  Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

(We will never be able to make this current world righteous.)

Jesus says:

Matthew 6:19-21  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

So what do you look for when you go out at night and look at that sky?

I'm rarely out at night, but recently we had to take one of the dogs to an emergency hospital.  As we sat at night in the car waiting for the doctor to work on the dog, I looked into the sky and I saw a very bright light in the sky on top of the nearby mountain.  I thought, "Is that a sign in the sky as Jesus said would come in the last days?"  As I continued to look, the light moved slightly to the right and then disappeared from view behind the mountain.  I was a little disappointed that it was not one of the signs in the sky spoken of in the Bible.

Luke 21:25-27   And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

What do you look for when you go out at night and look into the sky?

When we leave our house and drive down the street and I see the nearby Rocky Mountains, I often say to them, "I see you are still here!"  I know the time will come when the mountains will be moved out of their places.

Revelation 6

12 And I beheld when HE had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of HIM that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of HIS wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Hebrews 11

9 By faith he (Abraham) sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

I was in France in the 1980's.  As I sat on a park bench by the river in Paris, and people passed by talking to one another, I found it to be so peaceful.  Then the Holy Spirit reminded me:  "You don't know the language."

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Hebrews 11:13-16

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

Jesus comes "as a thief".   What does this mean?

I Thessalonians 5:2-3  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometas a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Every thing they cherish and work for on this earth will be gone.  And to them who love this world it will be as if a thief in the night struck when Jesus comes.  Thus the people of this world will mourn when they see Jesus coming through the air!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Matthew 24:1-2   And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.

And Jesus said unto themSee ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Do you marvel at the buildings made by humans hands?  or do you remember what Jesus said about all these things we can see with our natural eyes!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When Jesus comes through the air, every eye will see HIM and all the tribes of the earth will mourn.

But those who are the elect of God will rejoice for they know their redemption draweth nigh!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

At the end comes the judgment seat of Christ:

2 Corinthians 5:9-10  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
