When to share:

When you are with another person and the Holy Spirit brings to your mind a scripture or a concept or a dream or something God has done for you, speak then.

I do not plan ahead what I will speak.  I yield to the Holy Spirit and speak that which HE brings to mind.

John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Luke 21:13-15  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

I find this does the will of God and the work of God.  It also is an anchor for my soul because I know it was the Holy Spirit speaking through me and not I myself speaking.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit will bring a scripture to our mind.  When that happens we need to stop and look closely at that scripture, doing the instruction given in that verse and comparing scripture with scripture as led by the Spirit.

Other times we will be reading the Bible and a verse will stand out to us.  Focus on that verse for it is a message God wants us to see.

We must handle scripture carefully.  Pray asking God to show us what we need to see in that section of scripture, and do what you see to do, living in that scripture.

I often review the scriptures I have collected which the Holy Spirit has given me in past years.  Sometimes God will show me something I have not seen before, opening my eyes to that verse of scripture.

The scriptures hold antichrist back from our lives and keep us on God's path as we wait patiently for the return of Jesus.

This simply means "relax" ... When you are with another person, speak that which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind.

If you are reminded of a scripture, speak that.

If you are reminded of a dream, speak that.

If you are reminded of something God did in your life, speak that.

It is not I who speaks but God speaking by HIS Spirit.

I never plan ahead that which I will speak to another person when I know I am going to see that person.  I just pray that God have me speak that which HE wants spoken and I depend on the Holy Spirit who reminds me of what to speak.

And often I ask God to have me speak only that which HE wants me to speak ... and I follow the Holy Spirit when HE brings something to my mind.  If it is a scripture, I speak that.  If it is a dream, I share that.  Whatever the Holy Spirit brings to my mind as I am with the other person, I share that.

πŸ’₯ The final season: The powers of heaven will be shaken by God

 
We live in the time Jesus calls, The beginning of sorrows  

After that, comes The Great Tribulation where God judges the world and the apostate churches with HIS plagues.

The last of the seasons will be the shaking of the powers of heaven by God.

Jesus says:

Matthew 24:29-31

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

In the 1980's, God gave me the following dream:

The earth slipped on it's axis. People were terrified.  The governments of nations were meeting with the religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  (Nothing could be done.) In the dream, a TV newscaster was trying to give the news.  But he was so terrified that he just stopped speaking and got up and walked out of the room. 

The prophet Isaiah tells about this in the following scripture:

Isaiah 13:13  God says:  

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

One of our church group, had the following dream:

She and her husband were going out to buy a television set.  She was at the car waiting for her husband while he was getting ready.  All of a sudden, the sun turned dark.  She was terrified.  She started to run back into the house but she knew this would do no good.  She just fell on her knees.

Revelation 6

12 And I beheld when HE had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

God destroys this present heaven and earth:

2 Peter 3:10-14

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Revelation 21:1-5  (The apostle John says:)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯ Jesus, the author of eternal salvation to them that obey HIM. (Heb. 5:9)

 
God puts HIS Holy Spirit in us to show us what to do as we walk on this earth.

We no longer serve ourselves but now we please God making it our goal to serve God, doing that which God shows us to do this day.

Obedience to the Word is a large part of the Christian life.

And HIS words are not grievous but are salvation to those who obey HIM.

Hebrews 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

James 1:17  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

For example:  check yourself to be sure you are doing the following verses daily.

Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

I noticed a dental cleaning appointment on my calendar later in this month.  I remembered that I was considering making a change.  I currently have my teeth cleaned every 4 months.  I was considering changing to every 6 months.  Should I make this change?

I began praying to God asking HIM what I should do.

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Proverbs 3:5-7

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

In everything turn to God in prayer allowing God to establish your ways.  Then you can go forward in faith and in assurance that you are doing the best thing in the issue pertaining to your life.

πŸ’₯ In the last days, God says, "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy." (Acts 2:16)

When God showed me I was to be a minister, I asked Him, "What about that scripture where Paul says Let your women keep silence in the churches?  For it is not permitted for them to speak."  (I Cor. 14:34)

The Holy Spirit said to me:  "Look at what these women were doing."

I Corinthians 14

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

It looked to me like these women were speaking out asking questions in the gathering of the church.  This would be out of order.  So Paul says, "If they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home."  (verse 35)

Recently my attention was also drawn to Acts 2:17-18.

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of MY Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of MY Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Prophesy is for the church.  (Eze. 3:5-7)

To prophesy a woman would have to speak to the church.

(For me, this is another confirmation that Paul was bringing correction to women in the church at Corinth who were out of control, likely asking questions.)

I certainly agree with Paul concerning women who speak by their own flesh.  But when God gives that woman a word of prophesy at church, she is free to speak.

Another strong example is the prophet Deborah.

God set Deborah in the church to judge the people of God.

Judges 4

4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

Deborah also brought correction to Barak as follows:

And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

Other examples of women assigned by God to work in the New Testament church.

Anna(Was there at the temple when Jesus was a baby and they brought HIM to the temple)

Luke 2:36-38 

36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;

37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of HIM to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

The 4 daughters of Philip:

Acts 21

8 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Shortly after I was born again in 1975, in the night while I was sleeping, I was "transported into heaven".  

(It was similar to the example of the man taken into heaven which Paul spoke of in 2 Cor. 12.)

Paul says:

2 Corinthians 12:2-4

2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

When I was transported into heaven, I was with God, with Christ, with the Holy Spirit.  (I saw no physical images.  It was in the spirit.)

At that time, I was merged into the body of Jesus, God and Holy Spirit witnessing.

And a few days later, the exact same thing happened again as I was asleep in the night.

Later I came to believe at those 2 times I was set into the 2 ministry offices which Jesus gave me to work in for the church:  Offices of apostle & prophet.

Ephesians 4:11-12  And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

God taught me this about New Testament apostles:

The apostles are ordained by God to deal with scripture, bringing the church to all scripture.  

In the end time, apostles will have to deal with the end time apostasy.  (II Thess. 2)  

Churches will fall away from portions of scripture.  The NT apostles will try to get them to return to the scripture shown in the NT Bible.

God showed me Acts 15 where the apostles set rulings for the NT church.

The NT prophets deal with bringing correction to the church and also speaking of things to come in the church and exhorting the church in the ways of God.

Several examples of prophets working in the church are presented in the book of Acts.

Acts 11:27   And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Acts 21:10  And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Acts 11:28   And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

(Judas, but not Iscariot.  That Judas was already dead before the days of the NT church in Acts.)

Acts 15:40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

(Silas, a NT prophet, accompanied Paul on several of his ministry trips and several times in the book of Acts we read the name Silas.)

Acts 16:26  And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Acts 17:14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus (evangelist) abode there still.

Acts 17:10   And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Acts 17:4  And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

Acts 18:5   And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.


Acts 16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

Acts 17:15  And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

Acts 15:22  Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul (apostle/teacher) and Barnabas (apostle); namely, Judas (prophet) surnamed Barsabas, and Silas (prophet), chief men among the brethren:

πŸ’₯ The reasons God brought the flood and destroyed this world ... and the reason God destroyed the city of Sodom.


πŸ’₯  The flood brought by God in the days of Noah:

Genesis 6

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth ME that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before ME; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth

So God brought the flood upon this earth and destroyed both man and animals, only Noah was saved with those he brought into the ark.

Because man corrupted the earth and brought violence upon the earth, God destroyed the earth with the flood.

And what about today?

πŸ’₯  Man corrupts the earth by doing things opposite from the Holy Bible which is the Word of God.  Men of this world and the apostate churches of today have turned aside from the Word of God and do those things that please themselves, casting aside God as they bring their acts of corruption upon this earth today.

I Corinthians 6:9-10

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Where these sins were committed in times past, but hidden, today they are often flaunted in the eyes of all.

They demand their rights to commit sins.  And they even demand that others approve their sins.

Do you think their sins will not reach God?  Will there be a time when God says, "Enough," as God did in the days of Noah when God brought the flood, and in the days God destroyed all persons in the city of Sodom.

πŸ’₯  The destruction by God of all who lived in the city of Sodom.

Two angels of God were sent by God to destroy Sodom.

Genesis 19:12-13  And the men (the angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

Why?  What were the sins of Sodom?

In every "quarter" of the city of Sodom were homosexuals seeking to do homosexual acts.

Genesis 19:4-7

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.  (Have sex with them.)

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

What does God say in the Bible about homosexuals and lesbians?

Romans 1:21-28

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Genesis 13:13   But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

Deuteronomy 23:17  God says:  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

Today, people all over this world are being commanded to accept and honor sins against God.

I Corinthians 6:9-10

Sins of adultery, fornication, drunkenness (which some medical people call a disease but the Bible calls a sin... I Cor. 5:11), abortion (which is murdering your own child), homosexual-lesbians (which some even say they were born that way but God says in Bible that from the beginning of the creation, God created them male and female  Mark 10:6)

And other sins stated as sin in the Bible such as:  uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (Gal. 5:19-21)

As in the days of Noah where men corrupted the world with their sins. And in the days of Sodom where homosexuals came from every quarter of Sodom, seeking sex with other men. God destroyed their world and them, as God will do in the day of the Lord and at the end of the great tribulation.

A man was running but was looking behind him as he ran. There was a big ditch in front of him that he was getting ready to fall into but because he was looking backwards, he could not see this was about to happen.

The Holy Spirit brings thoughts to our mind showing us specific scriptures and concepts which God wants us to share with those persons in our company in that exact time.  When we yield to that which the Holy Spirit brings to mind, we glorify God before other people.

πŸ’₯ The next season: The Great Tribulation


Yesterday's blog told of the current season in which we live before the return of Jesus and the end of the world by the destruction of God.

Jesus calls this time which we live in now:  The beginning of sorrows

Next comes:  The Great Tribulation

We know some of the elect of God will be alive on this present earth during the great tribulation because of this scripture:

Jesus says:

Matthew 24:21-22

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The great tribulation is the period of time where God pours out HIS judgment upon this current earth and heaven because of the sins of the world and the apostate churches where scripture has been cast aside.

The prophet Amos tells us what the great tribulation will be like.

Amos 5:18-20

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

(One problem after another problem.)

Jesus said this would be a time of trouble unlike any seen before or ever would be seen again.  (Mt. 24:21)

The Great Tribulation from God is sent upon this present world because of the sins of this world and the sins of the apostate churches:

Revelation 8:1-6

1 And when HE (Jesus) had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The Great Tribulation begins:

Revelation 18  (Fall of Babylon)

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Next:  The powers of heaven will be shaken

Jesus says:

Matthew 24:29-31

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

πŸ’₯ Forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forth to that which is ahead.

We speak of the past in-so-much as the past shows examples of God working in the lives of ourselves and others.

But to regret past events is non-productive for us and for others.

A young man, early 30's, came to our house recently to do some work.  He told us his father was a pastor but is no longer living.  He began speaking of how he regrets having done certain things in the past.  This is the type of destructive thinking we must avoid.

Paul told us to "press" toward the high calling of God in Christ the Word.

So in both word and deed we who belong to God must go forward and make ourselves to go forward, rather than living in past failures and regrets, for that will not help us nor others.

Remember:  As you read this blog, focus on those scriptures which address your needs, meditating on those scriptures and doing them.

Go forward keeping the Word of God before your mind daily, doing that instruction.

12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

In most things of this world, we are taught exactly opposite from ways of God.

If we compare ourselves with other people and fall short, it might lead to covetousness.  Strife is a sin of the flesh.  

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Instead we are God's workmanship.  Please God and we will not fall short.

Emulation is one of the works of the flesh of man.  Paul says they who do these works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Emulation (defined):  effort to match or surpass a person or achievement typically by imitation

When God told me to go on radio KWJS and exhort the church, I did not listen to any other person's radio broadcast.  I just prayed and made the radio recording, allowing God by the Holy Spirit to bring to my mind scriptures to speak and examples to give.

I have never heard another radio preacher's broadcast.

When God told me to start a blog in March 2012, I did not look at any other blogs as examples.  I just wrote what God brought to my mind, sharing scripture and examples.

When God told me to begin Podcast, in 2020, I did not listen to any other preacher's Podcast.  I just bought a recorder and microphone and began recording as God brought to my mind scriptures or subjects.

I've never heard another preacher's Podcast nor have I looked at any other person's blog.

I write exhortations on the blog and record on Podcasts daily, sometimes twice daily or even more, because of these instructions from the Bible.

Hebrews 3:10-11  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 10:25-26  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

I just depend on God to give me that which HE wants the church to read and hear and I yield to the Holy Spirit as I do those things which I believe are right in the sight of God.

πŸ’₯ 3 Seasons before the coming of Jesus and the end of this world.


1.  The beginning of sorrows:

Jesus says:

Matthew 24:6-8

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

People will scoff and say:  Since the beginning of time we have seen wars and famines and pestilences and earthquakes ... so what make this period of time different?

Coronavirus:  a pestilence that covered the entire earth in a matter of months

This was certainly a "trumpet" to me.  

We who are the elect of God should not be unaware of the seasons leading up to the return of Jesus and the end of this world.

I Thessalonians 5:1-9  

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

(Let us strengthen ourselves even more in things of God:  Meditating in scriptures, remaining calm in the midst of the violence of this world ... exhorting one another and even more as we see the day approaching.  Hebrews 10:25)

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (The Word).

When we warn others, those of the world will scoff.  

But the elect of God will not scoff for the elect knows Bible and the elect sees the wickedness increasing all around this world and knows irrational violence is one of the signs of the season.  

And we know the devil will be exceeding fierce.  Revelation 12:12 ...  Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Most people of this world are unlikely to even believe there is a devil.

The world is asleep and blind today.  They think everything can be solved by men taking action. They race toward the day of judgment without recognizing the steep cliff that lies ahead in their path.

πŸ’₯  Dream given to me several years ago:  A stagecoach was out of control with no driver.  Four black horses were running frantically toward a steep cliff.  I saw a silly woman looking out the opening on the door of the stagecoach.  She had a big grin on her face and had long blond curls and had no idea she was in danger.

Coronavirus got their attention because it kept them from doing what they wanted to do ...  but now they are back on the airplanes enjoying themselves again as they did before the virus hit.  Most of them are not even wearing masks for they think their vaccinations have solved their problem.  

(But the virus is still with us.)

They think "peace and safety".  Sins are open before all to see in most of the world.  

Homosexuals and lesbians once kept their lives secret.  Now they seek sympathy of the world.

An example:  Brittney Griner, basketball professional, is being kept in a Russian prison on a charge of possession of drugs.  She is a lesbian.  She calls another woman "her wife".  This week this other woman called Britney Griner her wife.  They both call each other their wife.  (2 wives and no husband:  how perverted)   

The world will in many cases think this is just the way it is and will accept them as lesbians.  

But we who are of God will know the sin of homosexuals and lesbians as stated in the Bible and we are not deceived or swept away by their story.  

(Their story just signals the coming of the Great Tribulation and the return of Jesus where HE gathers the dead in Christ and the elect of God to take them to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13 & Revelation 21:1-5 ... and the destruction of this present heaven and earth by God.

Romans 1:24-28  (Concerning homosexuals & lesbians)

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

(The world that knows not God or truth of God by the Bible accepts and even approves their sins. But we, the elect of God, know the Bible and know evil in the sight of God and the sins stated in the Bible.)

Many "simple" people of this world are swayed by homosexuals and lesbians as they testify that they were born "that way" as homosexual or lesbian.  

Jesus says:  Mark 10:6  But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

God turned them over to vile affections.  (Romans 1:26)

The apostle Peter tells us in the last days there will be "scoffers"

2 Peter 3:1-10

1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Today's world races to their own judgment claiming their right to live as homosexuals, lesbians, or adulterers and fornicators and abortioners (murdering their own unborn children.). Denying there is a day of judgment whereby they will each be judged by God according to the Holy Bible.

Galatians 5:19-21  

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Repent! and turn from sins against God.  And conform to the scriptures of the Holy Bible to the end of your life on this earth.  And have the hope of the salvation that comes through Jesus's blood.

You cannot continue to live in sins of the flesh against God and be saved.

Jesus said to the woman taken in adultery:  "Go ... and sin no more."

(She could not continue to live in adultery.  Neither can a person continue in fornication or in homosexuality and in being lesbian ... nor as a drunkard or any other of those works of the flesh named in the Bible.)

For the day of the judgment of God comes.

2 Corinthians 10:9-11

9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

We are now living in the season Jesus called:  The beginning of sorrows

Next will be the season of The Great Tribulation where the judgments of God are loosed on this present earth before the return of Jesus.

Then the power of heavens will be shaken immediately after The Great Tribulation.

Matthew 24:29-31   Jesus says:

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Elect of God awaken.

Hebrews 10:25   Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Strengthen yourself with Bible reading and meditation upon scripture.  Be doers of the Word.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
