* Living a godly life in the Word of God benefits all.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

You can want many things for your children and end up teaching your children to live ungodly lives as you pursue these things.

You can instead do what you believe God shows you to do and end up giving your children everything worthwhile.

I Timothy 6:6-12 ...  godliness with contentment is great gain.

Are you content or are you desiring more?

I was thinking about where I live ... Lubbock, Texas ... I'm happy here.  It isn't a pretty area.  Flat land and no trees except for those planted by home owners.  But it suits me.  I can't think of any other place in Texas I'd rather live.

Bible tells us God chooses the time we live on this earth and the exact place we live.  Acts 17 (NIV Original translation)

***

I Timothy 6   For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But they that will be rich (seeking money) fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money (the desire for money) is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

*****

There are many surprises along the way of life when we follow God.  There are many persecutions, especially from those calling themselves Christian while they live apart from instruction of the scripture.

But there are also many hidden blessings from God along the way.

I've always been so joyful when I heard a word from the Holy Spirit, even a word that caused me to correct my own self caused me great joy.

I have a deep understanding that everywhere I go I am a blessing to other people because I am a carrier of the word of God and the way of God.

* Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 2-3

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith HE that holdeth the seven stars in HIS right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

(Jesus walks in the midst of the church.)

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

And hast borne, and hast patience, and for MY name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

***

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

***

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith HE which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast MY name, and hast not denied MY faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was MY faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of MY mouth.

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

***

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath HIS eyes like unto a flame of fire, and HIS feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am HE which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

(God will reward us whether it be for good or bad.)

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

28 And I will give him the morning star.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith HE that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;

I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.

If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

(Even as bad as it is in that church group there can be some who will be with Jesus.)

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before his angels.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

***

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;

These things saith HE that is holy, HE that is true, HE that hath the key of David, HE that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept MY word, and hast not denied MY name.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of MY patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him MY new name.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

***

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of MY mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear MY voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with ME.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with ME in MY throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with MY Father in HIS throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Is there a problem?

When I view what the world is doing, often I can't understand what they say or do.

Once when I was in France, it was so peaceful. I was sitting on a park bench and people passed by me, they were talking, I was in such peace.

Then I realized: The reason I'm in such peace is they are speaking French and I can't understand what they are saying.

*****

As we pass through this world, it is like we are momentary observers, not that we are part of them for we can't understand them.

One night in June, 2016, I glanced at CNN. There was some kind of big crisis "maybe". Even the newscasters were saying, "Are we making more to do of this than is real?" The stock market fell over 600 points and I listened to see what happened. It was something in England, a vote to leave "Europe"? Although I listened, I couldn't understand the problem. Then the politicians began giving their opinion and I couldn't understand them either. They may as well have been speaking in French which I can't understand either. I turned the crisis off.

*****

As I was reading Bible, I noticed following:

I Jn. 2:24 ... Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

*****

I began to consider what it was that I had heard "from the beginning." What it is that I know.

I know that Jesus died for our sins and was raised by God and is now seated at the right hand of God.

Jesus will return for us. The dead in Christ will rise first. (I Thess. 4)

I Thessalonians 4:13-17  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
(precede) them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(We rise to meet Jesus "in the air".  Jesus says HIS kingdom is not of this earth.  We will not be coming to live on this earth.  We will dwell in the new heaven and new earth wherein dwells righteousness.  This present earth will be destroyed.  II Peter 3 & Revelation 21)

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

***

Then those who are alive will be changed instantly and rise to be with them.  (I Cor. 15)

We are just waiting to be taken out.

*****

I Jn. 2:25 ... And this is the promise that HE hath promised us, even eternal life.

*****

While we wait, Paul said to Timothy, give yourself to "reading to exhortation to doctrine".

I consider that is what we also should do while we wait.

To reading: Reading Bible and godly exhortations

To exhorting: Sharing truth from God with those around us ... exhort: to urge earnestly by advice or warning.

At some point, this present heaven and earth will pass away. It will not be destroyed by man but by God.   II Peter 3

We should be giving truth from God as we cross paths with those concerned about this world. (Give yourselves to this ... sharing truths from God.)

To doctrine: Examining your doctrines by the New Testament by Holy Spirit as HE guides us from scripture to scripture by reminding us of various scriptures. Rereading about adultery which the world and most churches discount now. Restoring your own thinking over and over to Bible. Rereading about homosexuals, which many in world approves but what does Bible say, what does God say through the scriptures? Keeping God's truth before you for that is truth.

Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

* Doing what is best for another person

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In March, 2018, a man from the Philippines contacted me through e-mail.

He said he was a pastor and he invited me to come to the Philippines (at my own expense) and teach his church group.

God's assignment for me at this point in time is to write teachings on this blog and send them all over the world.

I explained that he could get all the teachings which I have been given for free on our blog.

He said he did not have a computer.

Pam Padgett had a laptop, which she was not using, so she said she would send that to him so he could get the teachings for his church group.  We have small royalties from the ministry books I have written and that royalty from Amazon goes into a bank account in Colorado Springs.  I told Pam to use that money to send the computer to Allan.  Oversees shipping is very expensive.

Everything was then set up for what we thought would be good.

But Allan began troubling Pam.  He said he hoped he wouldn't have to pay anything when the computer arrived because he had no money, no job, no income.  (This is a 48-year-old man who has a son and doesn't work.  He did not mention a wife but I would think he has a wife.)

When I found out he did not work, I told him it was very important for him to get a job immediately and support his family.

God ordained that men work and if a man does not work his life will not be in order.

I gave him the following:

Genesis 3:17-19    And unto Adam HE (God) said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

*****

He did not get a job and so far as I know he did not look for a job.

Then he spoke a message which he says his church group became very furious over and they told him, he says, that he and family must leave their group and must move from the ministry housing he had been living in for the past 30-years.

He asked me if we could "help him out" ... meaning, give him money.

Though he did not mention a wife, he did mention a son.  He said they would have to sleep in a park since they could not continue to live in the house owned by the church.

He presented a picture of no money, no housing, no food, no job and no income.

He had sent an email to each person in our little church group asking them to "help him out."

But I had already warned our church group that he might contact them and I told our group not to send this man money for I was counselling him to get a job and support his family.

I told Allan we would not send him money.

I told him to get a job and support his family.  (As I had told him to do the previous weeks and he did not do what I told him to do, for had he gotten job and had begun to accumulate income, he would have been in a position to seek housing when church property was no longer available.)

And I gave him the following scripture:

The apostle Paul says to the church:

II Thessalonians 3:10   For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

*****

This man, who says he is a pastor, wanted us to give him money to support him and his family.

But I knew the greatest gift we could give him was the word of God telling him to get a job, to live below his means so he would have a little money to use for unexpected expenses.

I do not believe the church should be feeding able bodied men when Paul gave commandment to the church telling the men that if they would not work neither should they eat.

If you are of God, speaking from God, to the church you will likely offend some in the church.  However it made no sense to me that everyone in his church group would rise up against him as he said they did when he told them no man in the Bible called himself "Reverend."  This subject of not calling themselves "Reverend" in Bible is a simple fact and can be very easily proven by looking at the Bible.  It is difficult to image an entire church group becoming angry over a warning such as this subject.

But the important thing to me is we did all that we could do to make a way for this man who says he is a pastor to have those messages we believe God has given us by HIS Spirit.

Until his personal life is put in order concerning support of his family, I do not believe he will come into the blessings of God.

A first step in putting his life in order was for him to go out and get a job.  He could still preach in his spare time as the apostle Paul did, for Paul was by occupation a tent maker.

Perhaps this man had messages from God to speak to the church but he never shared with our church group any message from God.

* Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 1

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John:

Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne;
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.

Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.

16 And he had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in His strength.

(Great power!)

17 And when I saw him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.

The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Seducing spirits in last days

The apostle Paul warned us ...

I Tim. 4:1 ... Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

*****

Ideas and attractions will come to try to lead you to go a way that is not of God. It may seem to be of God but when authored by a "seducing spirit" it is not of God.

Even entire church groups will depart from certain scriptures, explaining away scripture in order to approve humans who attend their church. This is the apostasy in the church as Paul said would come before Jesus returns.

II Thess 2 ... (NASB) ... Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed

*****

The scriptures restrained (held back) the man of lawlessness but when churches removed certain scriptures or explained those scriptures away, then the restraint was removed and antichrist moved into that church group. This has happened in one church group after another until today antichrist is all over in the church groups.

The apostasy spoken by Paul is rampant today in church groups. Jesus could not return until this happened in the churches, according to Paul.   (II Thess. 2)

The iniquity inside the churches sets the stage for the return of Jesus and the coming wrath of God.

*****

Many men (and women) have a spirit speak to them luring them off to the ministry when they are not called nor equipped by God for the ministry. Some leave their families, having no income, to pursue "by faith" a calling which they think is of God.

Satan appears as an angel of light (II Cor. 11) ...but Satan comes to us to lead us in ways that might seem good or noble but ways that will actually destroy us.

We, who really belong to God, know that along the way we are often pulled back into the path as we begin to drift from side to side as we go along the path of God. We make corrections to our way by the Spirit of God, by the Word of God. We pull ourselves back into the path assigned by God by the Spirit of God as we yield to HIS Spirit.

Seducing spirits often present things that "attract" us one way or another.

Seduce means: attract someone to a belief or into a course of action that is inadvisable or foolhardy... persuade someone to abandon his duty

*****

To stay where God puts us is sometimes a challenge. Other things can seem more exciting or more worthy. We see women (mothers) leave their little children to join the army. Men sometimes leave their wife and children to go off to minister to the unsaved when they are not really called by God to do this. It is all a tragedy.

Then Paul says

I Tim. 4:2-5 ... Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

*****

I met a woman once who said she was a prophet. She had a rule that she would not minister with anyone who drank coffee. I was shocked by this and I asked her "why"?  She replied that coffee could give a person a "surge" which might seem like the Holy Spirit. I told her I did not agree with her doctrine.

Some church groups set up diets for their members ... such as Catholic which prohibits eating of meat on Fridays and requires members to eat something like fish instead.  Jesus called fish meat. John 21:5

Some church groups forbid their ministers to marry ... forgetting that Peter was married and had children.

*****

And forgetting what Jesus said:

Mt. 19:1-12 ... And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, HE departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; And great multitudes followed HIM; and HE healed them there.

The Pharisees also came unto HIM, tempting HIM, and saying unto HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

And HE answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that HE which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said,

For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

They say unto HIM, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

HE saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

His disciples say unto HIM, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

But HE said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake.

He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

*****

The apostle Paul did not marry. Peter did marry. God must ordain it when the man is not going to marry. No human can do this.

There are many seducing spirits and doctrines of devils set in the churches today.

Everything that comes to us must be set in order by God through the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures which are able to make us wise unto salvation through faith in Christ.

II Tim. 3:16-17 ... All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

*****

But we must rightly divide the word of God by the Spirit of God otherwise Satan can use even the Bible to put a person into bondage.

Many churches today are in various bondages which are incorrect.

For example: One very strange doctrine of devils is the doctrine that in the gathering of the church you cannot use instrumental music. (This is really strange doctrine.)  Church of Christ in USA has this doctrine. They use the scripture which speaks of singing and making melody in your hearts. But if you really did that, you would not have to make any sound at all it would just be in your heart.

Many churches pass a tray with crackers/grape juice and call it "The Lord's Supper". The Lord's supper is the partaking of the Word of God, eating and drinking (applying) the Word of God in a proper way to your life.

Some church groups require women to wear long dresses and put head scarves on head, covering head. The real covering for a woman is hair. (according to Bible)

I Cor. 11:4-15 ... Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

In 1979, God gave me the following terrifying dream:

Destruction was everywhere.

A meeting was going on. A man was speaking to a room filled with people. I went in and began to listen.

A second man rushed in and said: "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole. A gas was coming out of the speaker. I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people. It was coming directly toward us!

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!

I looked at the man seated next to me. He had a big grin on his face and was looking directly at the man who was speaking to the group. But then I saw this man was a corpse, though he looked alive. He was already dead!

I looked about the room at the other people and realized they were all dead.

As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

God was showing me the anarchy that was already going on in our church groups.

Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

* Those who think gain is a sign of godliness.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

There are people who think gain is a sign of godliness.

Preachers often seek more church attendance.  It seems a sign of success.  But it often means you are withholding unpopular scripture to entice people to come to your church group and in such cases a large church group would be a sign of ungodliness.  (also more people usually means more offerings/more money)

According to his advertising agency, Jimmy Swaggart wanted more people to attend his meetings.  He had background as a country western singer so they came up with a plan to draw more people to his meetings by adding more singing and having less preaching, according to his advertising agency.  (entertainment over preaching)

A few years ago, I attended a dinner at a museum at our local university.  I was seated next to a man who was wearing around his neck the largest cross I have ever see.  Shortly after I sat down, this man introduced himself as retired pastor from Indiana Street Baptist Church.  He then began to tell of the problem his church was having in seating people.  He said so many were attending their services they couldn't seat everyone though they kept adding to the main auditorium.

I replied, "If you would teach what Jesus said, 'The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery,' about 1/2 of the people would leave you and you would no longer have a problem with seating."

I got up and left the dinner even before the food arrived.  There was no way I was going to sit through an entire dinner next to this man.

I Timothy 6:5    Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Having a large house and expensive cars and clothing does not mean the person is godly.  It does not show God is blessing that person.  It might be the opposite.

Many people who get ahead in this world and in accumulation of things of this world means they have defrauded another person.

When I hear of rich and famous people who have died, I often wonder where are they today after their death.

I Thessalonians 4:6-8    That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

(Often preachers use scripture to entice and even force people to give money to them and some even defraud by promising 100-fold return on their offerings, causing blasphemy against the scripture and the Bible.)

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us His holy Spirit.

There can be and is a blessing of God when we seek God and do that which is right in the sight of God.  In that case, it is God who has given us all things to enjoy.

I don't believe many are entering into that type of blessing however.

Most people seek more money and more achievements and more things of this world.

And the Bible warns us about such:

I John 2:15-17    Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

If you see someone defrauding another, do not be bitter but sad, knowing at the judgment seat of Christ God will reward each of us for the things we do on this earth whether good or bad.

To me it is a very sad thing when preachers or individuals could have gone the right way but instead go after more money, damning themselves in their pursuits when there could have been eternal blessing from God rather than temporary wealth and reputation among men of this earth.

Seek what is right in the sight of God and do that.  Choose life.

Deuteronomy 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
