πŸ’₯ At the end of this present heaven and earth.


Jesus will return to gather His church to take them to the new heaven and new earth created by God for them.

Revelation 21:1-5  (God showed this to the apostle John)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

There will be only righteousness in the new heaven and new earth.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

For decades church groups have debated:  Will Christians go through the great tribulation at the end of this world?

Jesus answers this question:

Matthew 24:21-22

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Some of the elect of God, Christians, will be on this earth during the great tribulation.

Luke 21  (Jesus says)

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

(The earth is currently kept in the solar system by the Word of God.  But the time will come when God will speak and the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  Here is a dream God gave me showing this event.  The earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done.  Nothing can be done for it is of God.  A TV newsman was trying to report this story.  But he became so frightened that he couldn't talk knowing this would affect him also.  So he just got up and walked off camera.)

Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

Matthew 24  (Jesus says)

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

(They "mourn" when they see Jesus coming for they know it is all over for them.  All their reputations among men of this world will end and only God and Jesus will matter.  Their possessions will be destroyed.  Gold and silver will be worthless.  And at the end God will destroy heaven and earth.)

31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Jesus will raise the dead in Christ and the elect of God will be removed from this present earth and all will meet "in the air" and will be taken to the new heaven and earth wherein dwelleth only righteousness.

These earthly bodies will not be taken into heaven.  We will be given new spiritual bodies.

I  Corinthians 15

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

(God is a Spirit.  We will be raised as spiritual bodies.)

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink:  that is how fast we will be changed from these earthly bodies to our new spiritual bodies before we are taken into heaven.)

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Concerning the dead in Christ:  Paul says:

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep (dead).

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God will destroy this current heaven and earth with fire.

2 Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

(One day as I was reading this God said to me:  "You will never make this present earth righteousness no matter what you do.  It is the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.")

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(From now to the return of Jesus we must focus on living in peace and being without spot and blameless.  No one knows the day and hour of Jesus' return, therefore we must be diligent daily to live in peace, without spot, and blameless because if Jesus returns and finds us debating and arguing and having spots from previous unsettled problems and blamed, we may suffer great loss.)

Luke 21  (Jesus says)

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(Prayer over all problems and concerns connects us to God and makes us "worth to escape" all these things coming upon this earth.)

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word).

When we do the works of the flesh, we give place to devils.

Before we are born again, we do the works of the flesh.

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

After we are born again, we have the Holy Spirit of God, and then we can control our flesh by the Holy Spirit, by following the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Galatians 5:22-25

22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh (keeping our flesh dead) with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

The flesh brings to mind something we can do that is of the flesh.  But we choose to do that which is of the Holy Spirit, keeping our flesh under control of the Spirit.

πŸ’₯ All weather and seasons are from God.


In the days of Noah, when God brought the flood upon this earth because of the wickedness of man, God made this promise to man after the flood.

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Up to the appointed end of this earth, we have God's word that we will have the seasons.

When Jesus returns in the clouds, all will see HIM.  Then comes the wrath of God upon the disobedient and upon the apostate churches who have fallen away from scripture.

The great tribulation from God comes at the end of this world.

The elect of God are gathered together by Jesus and are moved to the new heaven and new earth created by God wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Then God destroys this present heaven with fire and this present earth with fire.

Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And at the appointed end of this world, God will destroy this world.

Until the end of this world, God brings the weather upon this world.

During the time of the Great Tribulation, there are special plagues (sometime weather) which God pours out on this earth.

There is one event which defines the great tribulation.  One of the plagues:  The sun will not shine, the moon will not give light, the stars will fall from heaven.

One of our church members was given this dream:  She and her husband were going out to purchase a new TV.  She was at the car, waiting for her husband, when all of a sudden the sun went dark.  She said it was terrifying though she knew what it was because she had read about this in the Bible.  She started to run back into the house but then knew that would do no good.  She just fell on her knees.

When that happens, all humans, all over the earth will know God has made known the time in which they are living.

The time is coming when God will cause this earth to move in the solar system.

Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

In the meantime, all weather is from God.

Psalm 148:8  Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling HIS word:

In the 1990's, I lived in Clovis, New Mexico, USA.  A wealthy man brought a farm and said he had a way to make it rain by shooting a powerful gun into storm clouds.  

We would hear the sound of the gun, from time to time, which sounded like a canon.

But it never rained because rain is from God.

It certainly seems that we are experiencing strange weather.  Some humans today think electrical cars will somehow control the weather.  But weather is sent by God and God is in control.

During The Great Tribulation the people on this earth will see 14 plagues.

Revelation 8

1 And when HE had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Revelation 9

1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Revelation 10

1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by HIM that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because THOU hast taken to THEE Thy great power, and hast reigned.  18 And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that THOU shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in HIS temple the ark of HIS testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Revelation  16

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome (smelly) and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, THOU art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because THOU hast judged thus.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are THY judgments.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give HIM glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of HIS wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

πŸ’₯ Mishandling and misspeaking scripture and making spiritual things as earthly images.

 
The mother and father of an adult man died within months of each other.  

This man printed a statement in a newspaper obituary and sent me a copy of the newspaper publication. 

In that obituary he stated that his dad would be waiting for his mother at the gates of heaven.

I was horrified, for when his dad died, I shared several scriptures with him about that which the Bible tells us about death.

What he wrote was opposite to that which Bible says.

What he printed in the newspaper was incorrect. 

So I prayed asking God what HE wanted me to do about this and then I sent this man the following letter.

The letter:

You must learn to speak things right by what scripture tells us rather than speaking as you know things by this present life.

Your mother is not in heaven. Children of God are asleep in Jesus. I sent this to you before when your dad died.

We do not go directly into heaven when we die.  We fall asleep in Christ when we die.  When Jesus returns to gather the church HE will awaken the dead and gather the children of God from off the earth and we will then be taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

We will not even have these fleshly bodies whereby we now recognize each other

I Corinthians 15:49-53  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

(God is a spirit.  We will have spiritual bodies in heaven not these flesh and blood bodies which we now have.)

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink:  That is how fast we will be removed from our natural body and placed into our spiritual body before we are taken into heaven.  We will be "spirit" created in the image of God, a Spirit.)


At the point of death, the spirit leaves the body. The spirit sleeps in Jesus. The spirit will be given a new spiritual body before being taken into heaven. These flesh and blood bodies that we now have will not go into heaven.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

In fact Isaiah says in heaven the former things will not come to mind.

Isaiah 65:17 (God says:)   For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.


You are looking at these things in an unspiritual way by your natural mind as things are on earth.

Unless you have a love of the truth of the Word of God and correct yourself by the Word of God, you can be destroyed by Jesus because you did not love the Word.


II Thessalonians 2:8-12 (Jesus will destroy the apostate church when HE returns)

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.


You are mishandling scripture and are not being careful enough to get the facts before you speak and write things.

This man responded:  "Thanks for the clarification the funeral home wrote most of it I just added about her working career I should have read more closely."

This man deludes himself and hopes to justify himself.  

The first part of the obituary told of his mother's secular life: birthday, secular accomplishments such as education and work achievement and marriage.

Then he told about her being met at the gate of heaven by her dead husband.

I stopped reading at that point for it was in great error based on the Holy Bible and the scriptures in the New Testament.

I started to send him additional correction and then I began praying and remembered the following verse of scripture:

Titus 3: 10-11  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

So I sent nothing more to him.  I began praying.  I asked God to let me know if this man becomes born again and repents of his earthly works.

I don't plan to read any future emails from him unless those emails start with something like:  "I was just born again and have repented of all past things in my life that were evil!"

I prayed over myself:

Psalm 51:10   Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Sometimes we are pulled down by the error of the people who mishandle spiritual things.

If we know the truth of the scriptures and fail to share that counsel of God with a person who speaks errors, especially concerning spiritual matters, their blood can be on our hands.

Paul said:  

Acts 20:25-27  

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

This man's blood is not on my hands for I shared with him the pure word of God.

When I went to bed that night, I pulled up our hymn blog and was helped as I played several hymns.

The Holy Spirit will bring ideas to us which make for peace.

The apostle Peter tells us to live in peace, without spot and blameless as we wait for the coming of Jesus.  (2 Peter 3:14)

We do not know the day or the hour that Jesus will return so this would mean that we would have to live throughout each day in peace, keeping ourselves ready.  We do that by praying over all problems when they surface.  Pray immediately as soon as you realize there might be a problem.  Be diligent to do this.

This does not mean we agree with evil or approve evil.

We depart from evil and choose not to go around evil.

2 Timothy 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

A man in our church group filed divorce papers against his wife.  As soon as I heard this, I called him and asked, "Was your wife unfaithful?"

He hesitated.  Then he said, "No."

I said to him, "There is only one scriptural reason for a man to divorce his wife and that is if she has been unfaithful."  (Mt. 5:32)

He apparently read this scripture.  The next I heard is this man withdrew the divorce proceedings from the USA courts.

Jesus says there is only one scriptural reason for a man to divorce his wife.

Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

* To divorce a faithful wife will cause her to commit adultery if she remarries after the divorce.

*  The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Mark 10  Jesus says:

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

(A divorce paper from a human court cannot separate one flesh.)

πŸ’₯ Answers to questions asked on yesterday's blog. (Prove all things. 1 Thess. 5:21)

Questions:

Two questions:

1.  On  2-22-23, a major winter storm of ice/snow has struck upper 1/2 of USA.  Could that be one of the end time plagues?

No Looking at the 14 end time plagues listed in Revelation 8, 9, 16, you will see none of the 14 plagues are ice and snow related.

In 2004, a TV movie named, "The Day After Tomorrow," showed scientists who had predicted a storm that was coming to the earth because of errors people had made in climate control.

None of the 14 end time plagues are caused by humans but are all sent by God.

2. February, 2023, a massive earthquake killed 48,000 people in Turkey and Syria.  Could that be one of the end time plagues?

*  An earthquake could be one of what Jesus called, "The beginning of sorrows."  (These are sent by God and show us a prelude to the 14 plagues of The Great Tribulations.

Matthew 24  (Jesus says)

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

(Also consider the following scriptures concerning earthquakes.)

* Revelation 11:13  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

But in this earthquake, 7,000 were slain.  The 2023 earthquake in Turkey and Syria reported 48,000 slain as of February 22, 2023.

* Revelation 16:18  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

But the Turkey/Syria earthquake the current report is 48,000 slain.  In the Revelation 16:18 earthquake it will be the largest earthquake ever seen upon the earth.  This shows us it is yet to come.

(When you compare scripture with current events, you must look very closely and see if the facts support the hypothesis.  Also you must compare scripture with scripture.)

* Revelation 6:12  And I beheld when HE had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Since we have not seen the sun become as black as sackcloth of hair nor the moon become as blood, this scripture pertains to that which is to come in the future.

* Revelation 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

The next verse shows us this was an earthquake that came before The Great Tribulation:  And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.  (Revelation 8:6)

So the Turkey/Syria earthquake could still be "The beginning of sorrows" as stated in Matthew 24:7-8 ... but not an earthquake of The Great Tribulation.

* Acts 16:26  And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

You have to look at Acts 16 to see the setting of this earthquake.  This earthquake was sent by God during the time of imprisonment of Paul and Silas.  5 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.  This could not be the earthquake of Turkey/Syria in 2023.

Matthew 28:2  And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

This earthquake came at the tomb of Jesus.  Therefore this earthquake happened before the earthquake of Turkey/Syria of 2023.

Revelation 11:19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in HIS temple the ark of HIS testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

You have to look at this in context of the entire chapter.

Revelation 11  (This is the time of the 2 prophets which were killed by the people who had the mark of the beast.)

11 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

(God raised these 2 prophets from the dead.)

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

This shows this earthquake was at the time of the "second woe", so it would be the 13th plague, just before the complete pouring out of the wrath of God upon this earth, which is the end of this earth.  So this could not be the earthquake that we saw strike Turkey/Syria in February 2023.

When you look carefully at each scripture concerning earthquakes in the New Testament Bible, you see the Turkey/Syria earthquake likely pertains to Jesus' words concerning the "Beginning of Sorrows" which comes just before the 14 plagues of The Great Tribulation.

We prove all things by comparing scriptures of the NT Bible with other scriptures.

The beginning of sorrows:

Matthew 24  (Jesus says)

7 (Wars) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (Coronavirus of 2020), and earthquakes (Turkey/Syria 2023 and other earthquakes), in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

(I believe WW 2 is one of those "Beginning of sorrows" wars.)

You might say, "But WWII was 80 years ago."

Time in the sight of God is not the same as time in the sight of humans.  Humans would say Jesus was crucified 2000 years ago.

Peter says, 2 Peter 3:8-9   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

One thing we can be sure of.  We will recognize that we are in the Great Tribulation when the sun goes dark in the middle of the day and the moon fails to shine at night.

Revelation 8:12  And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Jesus says:

Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.

We see by this scripture that our name could be blotted out of the book of life.

This motivates us to "overcome" everything in this life through the Word of God.

We turn to God in the problem asking God to give us wisdom to deal with the problem.

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him

And by faith in that revealed by God and thereby doing that which God shows us, we overcome.

Do not deceive yourself into thinking you can continue to live in sin after you are born again and enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Paul tells us:

I Corinthians 6:9-10

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Podcast: In the New Testament Church today, God speaks to us through dreams, visions, angels, and by WORD's brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit

 

 
 
In 1982, I was returning to Dallas by plane from Hobbs, NM, when the Holy Spirit began speaking the following sentence to me over and over:

"The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God ... The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God ... The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."

(I had no idea what that might mean.)

The following day, God caused me to remember something Jimmy Swaggart had said and God showed me he needed to quit performing so much (entertaining the people) and return to preaching.  I had to get this message to Swaggart.

God also showed me I was to send a message concerning adultery to the preacher Jim Bakker.  I did send that message by cassette tape.  

Jim Bakker wrote me the following reply.  

Dear Jesus: 

Thank you for sending your inspiring message.

Jesus, Tammy Faye and I want you to know we prayed for you today ...

(Obviously Bakker never heard the message.)

Later Bakker was committing adultery with a church secretary.

The message I had for Jimmy Swaggart concerned returning to preaching rather than entertaining the congregation with so much with music.  

But Swaggart was having sex with a prostitute at this period of time in addition to other sins.

I happened to visit a small Assembly of God church during that time.  The preacher said, "We should pray for brother Swaggart."

It shocked me!  For I know what Paul says to do in such cases in the Bible.  (I Cor. 5)

Very softly I said, "Swaggart should be put out of the church."  A woman sitting in front of me turned and glared at me.

But this is what the apostle Paul says to do in the New Testament Bible.

I Corinthians 5

1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,  5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

13 ... Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

(Do what the Bible says.  Counsel and prayer will not work in such cases for the violator knows adultery and fornications are sins against God.  Do what Paul says.  Put him away from you.  Do not "eat" with him.  Turn him over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, "that the flesh may be destroyed and the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.)

I had been delivering some messages of correction to the church as a prophet of God during 1982.

I had also been going to the cities where I was on radio and speaking to the radio audience by seminars.

One night, God gave me a dream.  He showed me I was in great danger of being injured at the meetings and God said this to me in the dream:  "Don't go until you see Exodus 15."

I cancelled all meetings for the remainder of that year.

John 16:2-3  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor ME.
