I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
I have lived in a quiet community for 25 years. But in August, 2024, an outdoor music venue opened about 2 miles from my house, and they were granted exceptions to public noise ordinances, allowing music to be amplified quite loudly. During their concerts, to drown out the noise I need to be inside my house with all of the windows closed and my tv or music playing loudly.

The first concert of this year was held about a week ago and I found myself greatly troubled, thinking of it even when a concert is not going on. And I have been stirred up by hearing and seeing outcries from neighbors over the noise.
So I laid all this out before God, asking HIM to somehow help me live in peace here, or to move me to another location if that is HIS will. (I want to live in peace as we're instructed in 2Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.)
This past Sunday evening I was enjoying being outside and was thanking God for how pleasant it was, when the following concept was given to me by the Holy Spirit ... "Focus on the many evenings that are like this rather than on the few evenings when there is a concert."

This strongly reached me. Truly, there are not many concerts over the summer & fall months (I checked and there are only 16). The vast majority of evenings are very quiet and pleasant.
It brings great peace to me to think on this, and I believe this is a "way of escape" for me in this matter.
