Joy and peace are fruits of the Spirit of God, Galatians 5:22

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

A Christian who prays, and communicates with God, and hears from God by HIS Spirit, and does what God says, will have the fruits of the Spirit of God.

Two of the fruits of the Spirit are joy and peace.

When we pray and God brings us the way to go, we will be joyful as we choose to do that which God has shown us.  And we will also have peace and display peace to others.

When we go about telling the problem to other people, complaining about the problem, murmuring about the problem, we are defeated by the problem.  This is evidence of failure to turn to God for the solution.

Joy and peace are signs that the person has communicated with God concerning the problem.

I Corinthians 10:5  But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 6

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

For every man shall bear his own burden.

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.

12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

God opens our eyes to see

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 5, Chapter 23
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When Jesus walked on the earth in the flesh of a man, HE often spoke to the people by parables.  This HE did so the ones who were not appointed to life by God would not understand.

Mk. 4:11-12 ... And HE said unto them (to HIS disciples), Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

*****

Romans 9:18 ... Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will HE hardeneth.

*****

It is all done by God.

We might quote a scripture many times and even explain that scripture correctly but still not have a "revelation" on that scripture.

When we wrote the 10 ministry books, published on Amazon, several times I wrote about the following scripture:

II Tim. 3:5 ... Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I even explained this meant when they would not receive the scripture given them, reject them.

About 3 months after writing the ministry books, God opened my eyes about this scripture.

What it means is:  If they deny the power of the scripture to rule over them, turn away from them.

Here is an example of that:

I gave Mt. 23:9 to a Catholic woman.  Jesus said:  And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

She "thanked me" for the message ... but she showed her denial of the scripture to rule over her life.  She continued to attend Catholic church and call those men FATHER.

From such, "Turn away,"  says Paul.

*****

When I go back and read what I wrote about this scripture in II Tim. 3:5,  of them denying the power of the scripture to rule over them, it is exactly what I had written months before God opened my eyes to really understand that scripture.  But now my "understanding" has been opened by God to cause this scripture to be "on fire" in my heart and mind.  It has a life of its own now for me.

*****

When God gives us a "revelation" of a scripture it is that way.  It is different after that.

When we have that, we return to that scripture over and over and we just want to keep reading it.  The life in that scripture is so strong for us.

Such revelations from God are "the rock" upon which Jesus builds HIS church ... and the gates of hell cannot prevail against such a word revealed by God.

We can't make such happen.  It is all of God by HIS Spirit.

But when it happens, we are changed by the brightness of that Word.

Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 5

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

This persuasion cometh not of Him that calleth you.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness (defrauding one another), lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft (heeding superstitions), hatred, variance (to vary: debate, argue), emulations (to try to outdo another person / competitions to beat another person), wrath (delighting in revenge), strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Kept by the power of God

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 5, Chapter 22
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I Peter 1:3-5 ... Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to HIS abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

*****

At the time God reveals HIMSELF to us, God does a magnificent, perfect thing.  God also puts HIS Spirit inside us to comfort us and teach us and help us and show us HIS way to go on this present earth.  By the Holy Spirit we are made one with God and with Jesus.  By the Holy Spirit we can know the heart of God on the issues we face in this present life.

It is as if we are walking on a path, down a road.  If we start to veer off to right or left, we are pulled back onto the road by the Holy Spirit, by that concept brought to our minds by the Holy Spirit.  All we have to do is follow HIM, follow the directions put into our minds by the Holy Spirit.

I Peter 5:8-9 ... Be sober (clear minded), be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith,

*****

No matter what it "feels" like or "looks" like, we will not be destroyed so long as we continue with HIM, holding fast in faith in God.

I Jn. 4:4 ...Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

*****

Cling to HIM and that which HE has brought to your mind.

Emotions come and go and are of the flesh of man.

The word of the Lord endures forever!

So in hard times, cling to the Word of The Lord.  It will endure.  You will endure.

Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 4

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

(The Spirit of His Son:  The Holy Spirit)

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh (by natural way of the flesh); but he of the freewoman was by promise. (unnatural birth which came by promise of God to Abraham)

24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Do all things without partiality

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 5, Chapter 21
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I Tim. 5:21 ... I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

*****

Here is an example in the NT church of partiality and it having to be corrected.

Acts 6:1 ... And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

Some people take strong notice of "blood relatives" ... above all other people.

I was never like that.

After I was born again, I took notice of the church, those who have the Spirit of God in them.  I wanted to be with them.  I wanted to be able to talk about God.  I wanted to hear what they said about God and their experiences with God.  My desire was toward the church.

Pam Padgett said she was never partial to blood relatives like most people are.

Mt. 12:46-50 ... While HE (Jesus) yet talked to the people, behold, HIS mother and HIS brethren stood without, desiring to speak with HIM.  Then one said unto HIM, Behold, THY mother and THY brethren stand without, desiring to speak with THEE.

But HE (Jesus) answered and said unto him that told HIM, Who is MY mother? and who are MY brethren?  And HE stretched forth HIS hand toward HIS disciples, and said, Behold MY mother and MY brethren!  For whosoever shall do the will of MY Father which is in heaven, the same is MY brother, and sister, and mother.

Spiritual desire vs. fleshly desire.

James 3:17 ...  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

I was speaking with a man and began telling him how sorry I was for some children I know.  This man, who is Methodist and says he is Christian, replied:  "Why are we speaking of his children?  I don't care anything about his children.  I only care about my children."

*****

If the main thing you think of are your own children, how perverted and fleshly.  I think I care about all children and about even strangers I see at grocery and such.  Even when they are doing evil, I think I care.  I even care about fictional characters in TV shows and secular books.

Those of us who are of God are sorry when we see people going in ways not of God.  We care!

Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 3

O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

(Did God give you HIS Spirit by something you did, because of your goodness?)

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham
.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid:

for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Greater is HE that is in you ...

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 5, Chapter 20
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Concerning remarriage after divorce, for a divorced woman ... We read multiple scriptures saying if the woman leaves her husband and remarries, she commits adultery.

Mk. 10:12 ... Jesus said ... And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

*****

Romans 7:1-3 ...  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress:but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

*****

I Cor. 7:10-11 ... And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

*****

But what if the woman did not leave her husband?  What if the husband divorced her?  Wouldn't that cause her to be free to remarry without adultery?

(our flesh might reason this way or devils might present this concept to our minds)

The Holy Spirit in us is "greater" than other spirits ... and the Holy Spirit rules in the believer and guides us into all truth.  (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)

Once I was considering this question:  But what if the husband divorced his wife?  Now can she remarry without committing adultery.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of Mt. 5:32 ... Jesus said:

But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Jesus is saying the "faithful wife" will commit adultery if her husband divorces her and she remarries. Her husband who divorced her will be "the cause" of her adultery.  And the man who marries the divorced woman will commit adultery.

*****

When we have the Holy Spirit in us, HE will often sort through doctrine this way and bring us to truth of God on the matter because the Holy Spirit is "The Spirit of Truth."

In the churches, there are and were many who did not have the Holy Spirit and they set up many false doctrines by their own fleshly minds.

Thus perversion came into the church just as Paul told us it would.

Acts 20:25-31 ... the apostle Paul says ... And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.  Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

*****

They will "depart from scripture", falling away from scripture as they set up perversions in the doctrines at church.  This is the antichrist Paul speaks of in II Thess. 2 ... This "falling away" (from scripture in the church groups) must happen before Jesus can return.

One of the easiest ways to see it today is by looking at what they profess concerning divorce and remarriage.

Does your church group teach that the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery?

Does your church group teach the divorced woman that she will commit adultery if she remarries?

Does your church group warn husband against divorcing "a faithful wife", telling husband he will be the cause of faithful wife's adultery if he divorces her?

Any departure from these is antichrist in that church group.

II Tim. 3:5 ... Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:from such turn away.

If the church refuses to allow the scriptures to rule, they deny the power of the scripture to rule over themselves.  From such, turn away.

You must leave such church groups.  To sit among such is to give your own approval to the removal of the power of scripture to rule.

God will bring a strong delusion over those who do this.

II Thess. 2:10-12 ... And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 2

Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
(For HE that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

(You wouldn't need Christ or even God if you could save yourself by your own works.)

Speaking the Word when your family visits

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 5, Chapter 19
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Lk 21:14-15 ... Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

*****

Don't plan anything to say to them.  Put your trust in God that HE will give you anything you need to say.

Then when the door opens,  you speak to them the truth of God on the subject at hand.

Paul says:  "Be instant ... in season out of season ..."   II Tim. 4:2

*****

The family of a woman in our little church group came to visit her. They are not born again. In the group was her daughter, her son, and her granddaughter.

Here is a very interesting account of the doors that opened during their visit.
  • Friday night, Amy (daughter) and I were talking and I told her that Ed (husband) is holding up well for his age (74) but I do see him sleeping more than he used to. He starts off his day with early morning yard work...
I told her that the time would come when he wouldn't be able to maintain a property this size and when we saw that time, then I would know it was time for us to move because God had given me 2 dreams where this house was for sale and a dream where Ed was about to faint and another where he did faint.  I told her I thought this was likely showing me that he would get to the age when he didn't have the physical strength to do all that needed to be done here and would show us the time to move.

I told her I wouldn't be surprised if we moved closer to her and Drew. She asked me which city we might move to. I told her I wasn't sure but God would decide that because of the following scripture...

Acts 17:26 ... From one man he (God) made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and HE determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.  (NIV Original Translation)
    • She thought we chose the area of the state where we now live. I told her I was looking online at different parts of the state, not knowing where exactly to move, so I prayed and asked God to help me to know which part of the state we should move to and He gave me a dream showing me the exact area where we should move to which was just outside of Charlottesville.
    • At one point, she showed me a picture of Livie (granddaughter) in their backyard pool. She had the same bathing suit that showed bare midriff and which bothered me the first time I saw it. I warned her again about this ... modesty is important ... times are getting worse and Livie will want to be showing more and more of her body as she gets older because this is what she will see others doing. Women's clothes are becoming more lewd as time goes on and she (Amy) will be the only one who will have any restraint on what Livie wears as she grows up, in her household.
    • Drew (son) and I were talking about how small Bodhi (dog) is. I asked him if he remembered one day a few years ago when he called me and told me he had seen a documentary on hawks and how that made him concerned about Bodhi. I told him that same day I had seen a hawk in the backyard which was unusual.  I told him I talked to God and believed that this was a warning to put Bodhi on a leash when outside.
But that after a while, as Bodhi got bigger, I thought it would be okay to let him off leash outside. I told him that God had given me a dream last month where Bodhi was running in backyard and a hawk was closing in on him. I was running and trying to get to Bodhi before hawk did but I knew I could not. I knew there was bad ending to the dream and a warning from God, so we started putting him back on leash when he is out during the day.
    • We were all talking last evening and Amy mentioned a girl they went to high school with in Texas who was killed in a motorcycle accident. This reminded me of the woman who God gave a dream to showing that her grandson would die in motorcycle accident. And how she told the boy's mother and the boy about this dream and they said he would not ride motorcycle any more. But he did, and not long after, he died in motorcycle accident. Again, a warning through dream.
    • Yesterday we were at grocery store and Drew was trying to buy some fish. Drew didn't think the man waiting on him was being very helpful and, at one point, Drew said that he did not like that man. Later I was reminded of how we will be judged by every idle word we speak (Matt. 12:36) and shared this with him. I told him is better to turn to God when something like this happens and ask Him to help us with situation. Is best not to let anger into your heart because it will probably come out of your mouth, at some point. These kinds of things happen often in world.
    • Last evening Ed and Amy each told a story of people whose religion puts prohibitions on certain foods they can eat. Today I sent them an email sharing what God says about this subject ... I Tim. 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Drew was in considerably better spirits than last time I saw him. I asked him what was going on with him and Laura. (Drew and wife are currently separated.) He said they are talking and he thinks they will try to reconcile. I know she texted him once while he was up here.

Barbara had planned to give Drew all the scriptures on divorce/remarriage. God did not have her do that. No doors opened on this subject.

It is so important to follow the Spirit of God when we speak with another person ... We must speak with a "pure" heart and that means a heart without preconceived notions and a heart that is not trying to do something to that other person.

We then speak by the Holy Spirit ... and not of ourselves.

If we pray beforehand, committing everything to God and asking God to open the doors to subjects HE wants spoken, we set ourselves in a good position to speak with a pure heart ...

Then if the subject arises, speak truth.

It is very important to "clear your own heart" before the meeting by prayer ... and then to speak when the opening arises, for that is the door God wants you to go through ... with truth from God.

A woman in our little church group said she was planning out a scripture to take to her doctor at her next appointment.

I said, "Don't do that." (that is trusting in yourself to think you know what that doctor needs)

Instead turn to God in prayer asking God to bring forth anything HE wants spoke.

Put your trust in God, not in yourself.

The last time I had doctor's appointment, it was with a new doctor. Before going to the appointment, I prayed much. I asked God to have me say anything HE wanted me to say. I prayed this doctor would not want to do anything to me other than that which was needed.

It's rather amazing, but I ended up telling her about Moses and how you didn't have to be sick to die ... that Moses wasn't sick. God told Moses the time had come for him to die. He died ... and God buried him. Moses was 120.

Deut. 34:7 ... And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

I also told her the story of something that happened to me recently.  I could tell I was about to have a kidney infection. I remembered I had not been drinking water. I cried out to God, "Please don't let me have a kidney infection. I will start immediately drinking water. And I will really try to start drinking more water every day."

After I told her this she looked at me and asked: "Did it work? "

    I said, "Yes".

Another thing I told her ... I try very hard to not allow bitterness in my heart and to not allow unforgiveness in my heart.

She said "That is the way I try to do also."

Had I been planning what I would say, I would never have thought of most of these things God had me say to this doctor!

It is so important for us to learn to trust God to bring out in conversations that which HE wants brought out, otherwise we are in danger of doing works that are not of God.

Before I go to any appointment, or meet with any person, I'm always praying that God will have me speak that which HE wants spoken.

This is putting our trust in God.

When God brings something to our mind and we speak it, that is God doing the work through the Holy Spirit that is in us.

Jn. 14:26 ... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

If we plan it ahead what we are going to say, we are in great danger of the work being "our own work" and not the work of God.

Mt. 7:21-23 ... Jesus says ... Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in THY name? and in THY name have cast out devils? and in THY name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.

    Instruction In Righteousness: Galatians 1

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead;)

And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who gave Himself for our sins, that HE might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from HIM that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
    21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

24 And they glorified God in me.
