God does HIS will

Eccl.3:1    To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Joan Boney … apostle/prophet   … At the time of this writing, I am 81-years-old and have lived alone in my own house for several years.

During the past year, 2018, I have fallen multiple times and have broken several bones resulting in stays at rehabilitation hospitals and weeks of physical therapy.

Often during these months, I have said to God, "I don't see how I can continue to live alone  as I am now doing in Lubbock."

Holy Spirit put in my heart that a change must come.  John 14:26 & John 16:13

After the last fall, December 6, 2019, major surgery was required.

As the Ambulance people removed me from my house, as we reached the front door, I heard the following word which I believed to be from God:

"You will never see this house again."

I rejoiced, because I had, for some time, realized I couldn't continue this way.  

God had another plan for me.  I was going to move from Texas to Colorado and live in the home of Pam Padgett.

Often since then I have been reminded of the following scripture:

II Kings 4:8-11

And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.

And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.

Early Saturday morning, February 23, 2019, when I needed to leave for the Denver airport to fly to Lubbock, Texas, to get Joan, there were 5-7 inches of snow on the streets of Colorado Springs where I live, and the snow plows had not yet been through the neighborhood. 

I planned to drive Joan's car to Denver airport since her older car sits much lower than my car which is an suv, and it would be easier for Joan to get into the lower, older car when we fly back from TEXAS to Denver on the following day.

But I was concerned that Joan's car wouldn't be able to get through the unplowed roads.

Philippians 4:6   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

There was also concern because Joan's car is rear-wheel drive.  My car is front-wheel drive and I have very little experience driving a rear-wheel drive car in snow.

Before I left I talked with God about these concerns.

James 1:5 ...  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all liberally
and upbraideth not and it shall be given him.

One thing I was reminded of was many years ago when I was driving in a snow storm and suddenly the snow became so heavy that I could barely see the front of my car.  At that time I prayed and asked God whether I should turn back.  Suddenly the snow lightened and I went forward safely.  

When reminded of this on Saturday morning, I told God that if HE wanted me to catch the plane in Denver, HE would need to make a way for me to get there safely before the plane departed, even to the point of delaying the plane if necessary. 

Joan's car did fine in the snow, and before long I was able to drive it without "fish-tailing". 

But, unexpectantly, there was a lot of traffic on the interstate between Colorado Springs and Denver.  At times we were going only 20-30 miles per hour. 

One big problem was keeping the windshield cleared.  The defroster on the older car didn't work very well and cleared only the bottom few inches of the windshield.  Also I couldn't get the windshield washer to work at all.  I needed to stop a few times to clean the windshields. 

Incredibly, I was kept calm (not of myself) during all of this.  

When I got to the airport, I planned to park in the parking garage, but couldn't find an open space.   

I told God that I didn't know where to park and needed help.  

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

A few seconds later I turned a corner and right in front of me was the way to some outdoor parking that is very near the terminal.  Just as I got there a man was leaving, opening a parking space very close to a walkway to the airport terminal's baggage area.

Inside the airport terminal, there was an extremely long line to get through security, but it moved very quickly. 

I got to the boarding gate just as they were starting to board.  

It looked unlikely, if not impossible, for me to catch that flight, but God made a way.

There was a little more to this adventure.

When the flight neared Lubbock, there were very strong winds in Lubbock, and the captain warned of a bumpy time ahead.

He was certainly right!

But the plane landed safely.

The way was made, and I was kept safe, by God.

(Because of the location of the parking space I was led to in Denver, when Joan and I returned to Denver on Sunday, the sky-cap was able to take Joan in the wheelchair directly to the car.  Joan did not have to wait for me to get the car and drive around the airport to get back to the arrival pickup area.)

Woman Who Wanted to Discuss Cases of Divorce/Remarriage

I received a disturbing letter from a woman who said she is a minister and wanted to ask me a list of questions about specific divorce/remarriage situations.

When I turned to God with this, I realized this woman is looking at the situation backward.  She wants to discuss "cases" ... she should be focusing on scripture, not on the cases, for the scriptures define all cases.

Mt. 5:32 ... Jesus said ... Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

There is nothing to discuss.

A man decides to divorce his wife ... 

Mt. 5:32 ... Jesus said ...  whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:  

If the wife is unfaithful, committing adultery against him by having sex with another man, the husband is free to divorce her without penalty.  

But if the wife is faithful to him and he divorces her, he will be guilty of causing her to commit adultery if she remarries and has sex with another man.

A man in our little church group filed divorce papers against his wife.  When I heard of that, I asked him, "Was she unfaithful to you?"  He replied, "No."

I explained to him the only scriptural grounds for him to divorce her was if she had been unfaithful. 

He withdrew divorce proceedings.

The commandment of the Lord for the NT church concerning divorce/remarriage is as follows:

I Cor. 7:10 ...  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

The wife can leave her husband but if she does she must remain unmarried or return to her husband.

This is very simple, clear instruction and fits every situation of marriage.

If the husband divorces her and she has been faithful, she will commit adultery if she remarries.  Mt. 5:32  So even in this case, she must remain unmarried, according to the scriptures, the Word, Jesus.

We have no other rulings to go by than those stated in Bible. 

So instead of focusing on specific situations of divorce/remarriage, focus on the above scriptures which show us the truth of the matter and show us what to do.

Without shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

Jesus shed HIS own blood to pay for our sins.  We didn't shed our blood for our sins.  Jesus shed HIS blood.

Hebrews 7 … For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by HIM that said unto HIM, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

24 But this man (Jesus), because HE continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

25 Wherefore HE (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by HIM, seeing HE ever liveth to make intercession for them.

We can't pay for our sins by our own goodness or our works. But we can be cleansed by believing in that  which Jesus did to pay for our sins.

In the following hymn, Beneath the cross of Jesus, we sing of a dark and terrible grave that lies beyond Jesus's cross.  Most of the world views death as such.  But when we understand HIS grave and resurrection stands between us and  our own death, then we no longer have to fear our death for it is paid by Jesus.

Therefore the truth of the following applies to us who believe in Him.

I John 1    5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

CONSIDERATION:

* where heaven’s love And heaven’s justice meet : heaven's love is shown by God sacrifice of His Son, and Jesus' willingness to die for us.  Heaven's justice requires payment for our sins for it to be just.  The only payment sufficient to justify our sins is the blood of Jesus.

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Holding the Truth in Unrighteousness

How can we who hold the truth sit there withholding the truth while others exalt error?

Romans 1:18 ... For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

We, who know truth, must treat the truth with honor and with dignity.

In Romans 1, God speaks of the "vile" affections of homosexuals and lesbians.

But not just homosexuals and lesbians, because in Romans 1 God speaks of other sins.

 28-32  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We, who are of God, can't allow all this sin in our presence when we hold the truth in the issue.

In 1979, God gave me the following terrifying dream:

A meeting was going on.  A man was speaking to a room filled with people.  I went in and began to listen.

A second man rushed in and said:  "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole.  A gas was coming out of the speaker.  I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people.  It was coming directly toward us!

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!

I looked at the man seated next to me.  He had a big grin on his face and was looking directly at the man who was speaking to the group.  But then I saw this man was a corpse, though he looked alive.  He was already dead!

I looked about the room at the other people and realized they were all dead.

As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

God was showing me the anarchy that was already on in our church groups.  It is much worse today in the churches.  This sets the stage for the return of Jesus and the Wrath of God which comes upon both the world and the church groups who have changed scripture or omitted scripture.

CONSIDERATION: 

 πŸ˜€  * ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear:  By the grace of God we are taught to fear God above man.  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  When we fear God above all others, we will obey God above all others.  

And grace my fears relieved:  By the grace of God we hear the solution from that which we fear from the world.

The Doctrine of Christ

II John 8-11 ...  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

What is the doctrine of Christ?  

Concerning divorce/remarriage, homosexuals/lesbians, fornication, drunkenness, scorners/hating and such.

It is what we are taught in the Bible, the Holy Scriptures.

My neighbor was having an anniversary celebration and several friends and relatives were coming to town for this event.  He asked me if his wife's daughter and her friend could sleep in my spare bedroom.

It hit me, "her friend"?  What is this?  So I asked this man and he said his wife's daughter was a lesbian and her friend was her partner.

I told him I could not have lesbians in my house.  He replied that he did not approve of them either, and he said no more to me.  I never even saw him again in the years between this phone call and his death.

What is the doctrine of Christ concerning homosexual/lesbians?

Romans 1:26-27  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

A Baptist woman had a granddaughter who was raised in the Baptist church.  When she became of age, she began living with different men in sexual relations, one man, then another.  I couldn't understand how Aline could receive this granddaughter into her house.

What is the doctrine of Christ concerning fornication?

I Cor. 6:9-10 ... Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 

How can you allow such into your house?

My cousin and her husband were members of the Church of Christ group.  Another cousin and her lover would visit them and stay in their home.  I couldn't understand how they could permit this to happen.

How can we who are of God bring sin into our homes?

Mt. 5:32 ... Jesus said ...  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

I Cor. 7:10-11 ... And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

This is the doctrine of Christ.

Can I allow those persons who violate these things spoken of by Christ into my house?  And if they try to come visit, don't I need to take Bible and read appropriate scripture to them making it clear that I will not go along with them?

How can I allow sin into my own house?  I couldn't see that we could do this and I refused them. 

My cousin, her husband and one of her adult aged sons came to visit me.  I learned this son was "dating" a divorced woman.  I explained to him it would be adultery if he married this woman.  (I had no idea he and this woman were already committing fornication.  Had I known this, I would not have allowed him into my house and I would have given him scripture on fornication.) 

At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh ... I Cor. 6

All other sins are outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body ... I Cor. 6

He married the divorced woman but certainly his blood is not on my hands. 

Paul said ... Acts 20:26-27 ... Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

I don't care if the person visiting is a Christian or not a Christian.

These are the doctrines of Christ of WHOM I am.   

And we are speaking of who comes into my house.

If they come to my house, they will hear the doctrines of Christ.

It is "my" house.  I am responsible for those who come into my house.

Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 20


And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and HIM that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Experience With God Strengthens Us and Helps Sustain Us

Sometimes we go through an "emotional" downturn and we don't even know what happened.

But when we have experience with God, we know HE will rescue us.

II Peter 1:2 ... Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Our experience with God reveals to us that God will never fail us nor forsake us.

We are also promised this in Hebrews 13 and again in Joshua 1:5 ... As God promised Joshua, we see this in our own lives ... God does not forsake HIS children. 

Heb. 13 ...   Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE (God) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Joshua 1:5 ...  God says ... I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

I was born again in 1975.  Shortly thereafter I went through a very strong downturn.  I didn't know what was happening to me at the time.  I just kept saying, "Praise God ... thank YOU for my salvation..." 

Sometimes we just don't know but we cling to God in spite of our emotions, in spite of how we feel, in spite of how everything looks.

Our experience with God in past trials helps us also for we know God did not let us down then and neither will God let us down now.

Just keep giving yourself to God.

Instruction in Righteousness: Revelation 19


And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 

For true and righteous are HIS judgments: for HE hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of HIS servants at her hand.

And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye HIS servants, and ye that fear HIM, both small and great.

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and HE that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness HE doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.

13 And HE was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and HIS name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed HIM upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of HIS mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it HE should smite the nations: and HE shall rule them with a rod of iron: and HE treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And HE hath on HIS vesture and on HIS thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against HIM that sat on the horse, and against HIS army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
