Book: Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 7,Chapter 3
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
After we were born again, our "old man", our flesh is buried with Christ and a "new creation" is born of the Spirit of God.
With that new spirit, The Holy Spirit, comes power, love, and a sound mind.
We are completely different after we are born again.
We enter into the fullness of this new life each time the Holy Spirit reminds us of a scripture or calls our attention to a scripture as we are reading Bible, and we see that scripture and do that scripture.
We are recreated "in the image of Christ", over and over, by doing various scriptures shown us by the Holy Spirit.

II Tim. 1 ... Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; WHO hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to HIS own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Power, Love, Sound Mind
At the time we are born again, we are given the Spirit of God to live in us. This is great power for the Spirit of God knows the mind of God and reveals the will of God to us so we can go in the way of God on this present earth in each of the issues of this life. (I Cor. 2)
We find there are times God will have us speak HIS truth to the disobedient as we are lights in the midst of darkness.
There are other times we will depart from a rebellious individual by the Spirit of God.
All things are done by HIS Spirit which dwelleth in us ... for HIS Spirit will remind us of a scripture to show us what to do ... or HIS Spirit will give us a WORD of wisdom, like a light going on in our head to show us what to do ... it just becomes clear to us ... but it is all by HIS Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, and we walk in HIS way by HIS Spirit in the issues of this life.
Now we live in love, not wanting to hurt anyone ...
Because of God, we now have a wisdom above this world, knowing this present world will pass away ... our mind BECOMES no longer fixed on this world but on things above and on pleasing God while we live on this earth.
"What does God want me to do?" is our continual thought, for we now serve God rather than serving ourselves.
Therefore we continually overcome in the midst of a very crooked generation through God by HIS SPIRIT.

The Bible tells us a great deal about the Spirit of God, The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Truth, The Comforter.
Jn. 14:26 ... Jesus says ... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, WHOM the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jn. 16:13 ... Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

I Cor. 2:9-13
... But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love HIM. But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but THE SPIRIT which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

And we learn to wait in peace for Jesus Christ who removes us and changes our bodies into our new bodies for eternal life, gathering us to HIM in the air with those who have gone before us ... with Abraham, David, Paul, Peter, John and all others whom we love though we have never seen them in the flesh ... with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego ... with Daniel ... with Josiah ... with Gideon ... with Stephen ... with Moses ... with all who have served God and worship HIM.
Romans 8 ... What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not HIS own Son, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall HE not with HIM also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, WHO is even at the right hand of God, WHO also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For THY sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
