It is God who created each of us as HE wills.  One differs from another as we fulfill the will of God and our purpose on this present earth.

And we function as one body when we belong to God and have the Spirit of God.
 
Paul tells us to stay in the place where we are called by God.
 
Make your calling and election sure.
 
We are God's workmanship, created by God to do HIS will.

But some fill their lives by trying to copy other people instead of being created by God.  And Jude calls them "mockers".  

Jude 17-20  But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;  How that they told you there should be mockers  (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.  These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith ...

As the body of Christ we have different purposes, different functions in the body.

Know what you are!  Serve in those gifts given you by God.

πŸ’₯ That which is important

John 1: 1- 4 

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.

4 In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.


The Word that we are given from the Holy Spirit guides us in ALL things pertaining to our life on earth. By following this Word, we have life, the life HE gives us. 
 
This Word illuminates our way to travel through any rough waters and challenges that may be ahead. In this way He lights our way and gives us eternal life.

The Holy Spirit guides me everyday ..... from finding items around the house, making purchases, determining which road to take to a destination, and what to wear. I talk to God all day and He helps me all day. 
 
I know several women who ask me if I need them to give me moral support and encouragement. I reply that I depend on God for this. If they want to be with me to help pass the time, that would be fine. Of course, kind words are always nice to hear but not needed. 
 
If I find myself becoming irritated, I pray.  If I see someone in trouble, I pray. 
 
When I see a deer with horns, I ask God to protect him through hunting season unless the hunting human needs food. We currently have about 40 deer in our yard each evening. Some of our neighbors have commented that we have a "deer farm". We just do not allow hunting by anyone but our family. Our family has not hunted here for about 10 years. It seems that the deer know where they are safe. My husband likes to sit on our porch to watch them in the evening.

Then I see those in the world that do not know HIM ... how they suffer ...... how lost they are ....... how they think they are wise ....... how angry they are ...... and I ask how I was chosen and they weren't .... I am impressed with "My (God's) will be done". I have done nothing to deserve this gift. 
 
Right now my sister is dying of cancer while I have been healed. As I watch her suffer I struggle with this and ask Him to help me through. I do not know if she is born again but I call her and speak that which is in my heart. I love her. She was my best friend for many years. Her tumors are so large that she is forced to buy a larger clothes size and yet, she has no pain. The last time I spoke with her, she said, "You should see me without clothes, I look like the concentration camp prisoners with all of my bones showing and a big stomach." I ask Him to help her and give her HIS spirit. I ask her to turn to HIM. She prays for HIS will to be done and is at peace with her situation. 
 
Being human and dealing with our flesh and emotions is sometimes so difficult. If God wants us to live, we will live and if God wants us to die, we will die. We will be on this earth the time and place that HE appoints. 
 
(Acts 17:26 And (God) hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;)
 
Death is not the worst thing to happen to us. The worst thing to happen to us is to not be born again, to not know HIM and to be damned to hell.

My heart is so full of love and appreciation that I have been given the amazing gift of the Spirit to give me life .... this life that is the light of men.  Living or dying is irrelevant ... only the Spirit is relevant.

I had a rather serious dental appointment scheduled on November 30, 2020.

I did exactly what it says to do in Philippians 4:6 ... The appointment was scheduled about 2 months earlier.  I knew there was a possibility of a root canal.

Every time during those weeks approaching the appointment when I thought of the appointment, I prayed, asking God for help.  I asked God to help the dentist in the decisions that she made, and that she not do more to me than needed. I asked God to keep me from being hurt.  I even prayed that I not be afraid.

I had asked God to help me to physically get ready for the appointment, to get my hair washed and get shower.  (I'm 83 and this can be difficult.)

On the Saturday before the appointment, all of a sudden I asked Pam if we could go get my hair cut that afternoon.  This is one of those non-appointment shops we go to.  But because of the rise in Coronavirus we had not been for about 3 months.  There was no difficulty at all in getting into the shop.  It was 2 days after the American holiday, Thanksgiving Day.  The hair operator said they had been very busy but that day was "slow".  I was so glad.  I had asked God not to let either Pam or myself get Coronavirus.

The day of the dental appointment, I was easily able to take shower.

It took two hours for dentist to do the work on my tooth.  I felt no pain at all, neither during the procedure nor after.  Dentist said she decided to remove the crown and drill out the decay and not do a root canal.  She said, "Let's try this first."

I thanked God for answering each part of my prayer.

And I was "careful for nothing" because I had prayed according to Philippians 4:6.

It is so important for each of us to live a "carefree" life through God day by day, second by second.

I had even prayed if there was any reason I should cancel that appointment that God would show me.  But no reason manifest itself so I went on to the appointment.

Even after all the dental work was done, there was not one second of pain or discomfort.

"Let your requests be made known unto God."

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Before Jesus returns, the powers of heaven will be shaken by God

Dream from God:   The earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men and the scientists and religious leaders were meeting to see what could be done about this.  Nothing could be done for this was from God.  A newscaster was giving a report of this on TV.  He was so frightened that he stopped speaking in the middle of his report and got up and walked out of the studio.

The prophet Isaiah spoke of what would happen at the end of time.  Isaiah 13:13  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.
 
This is exactly what I saw in the dream God gave me sometime in the mid-1980's.
 
Jesus also spoke of this in Matthew 24:29-31.
 
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

We read, starting in Revelation Chapter 8, of the great tribulation that comes from God at the end of this world.

Notice the 4th plague in the following:

Revelation 8

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

With the first 3 plagues, notice how they involved a third part of the earth.  Recently this was called to my attention.  These 3 plagues might happen in different parts of this world.  Until verse 12 happens, it might not even be realized that the great tribulation had begun.  

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

When verse 12 happens, everyone, all people of this earth, will know "something" has happened to all this world.  

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

There are 14 total plagues before the end of this world when God destroys this present heaven and earth by fire.  But after the 4th plague when the sun goes dark for 1/3 of the normal day, and the moon and stars fail to shine for 1/3 part of the day, everyone will know the great tribulation from God has begun.

Man fails to repent.

Revelation 9

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Even today, we see ministers who will not repent of those things they speak wrongly, making things up concerning the Bible.  They even admit when confronted that the Bible does not say that which they said, but they have no sorrow for the way they made things up.  And they will not repent over that which they have done.

And their congregations know things are wrong but they stay in their church groups regardless.

2 Thessalonians 2

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (Rom. 15:13)

When we believe the Word of God we are filled with joy and peace and hope.

There are thousands upon thousands of great promises of God for us in the Bible.  

2 Peter 1:4

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

When the Holy Spirit of God reminds us of one of these promises of God in the situation of this present life, we can focus on that promise and live above the troubles of this world because we know the God who created this world is far greater than this world.  We hope in God!

The church is built upon that Word which God reveals to us in the problems of this life.  We stand upon "that word", the word that comes to us from God by HIS Spirit.  Therein is power.

We have great joy and peace and hope for we believe Jesus will return and gather the church.  Jesus will raise the dead in Christ and Jesus will remove those who are still living who are of God from this present earth.

How do we know these things?

The Bible tells us this.

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We will all be changed into our new spiritual bodies:

I Corinthians 15   The apostle Paul says:

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Then we will be taken to the new heaven and the new earth which is prepared by God for all who are righteous.

Revelation 21  The apostle John says:

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

There will be no unrighteous in that new heaven and new earth, the new Jerusalem.

Revelation 22  Jesus says:

12  And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

In the end, God will destroy this present heaven and earth by fire.

II Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And this present heaven and earth will not even come to mind.

Isaiah 65  God says:

17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

πŸ’₯ Faithfulness of God seen all around us

Last night before getting into bed I closed the drapes in the bedroom leaving just a small opening between the two panels thinking it wouldn't let in enough light in the morning to bother me.

When I opened my eyes this morning there was a sliver of extremely bright sunlight coming through this small opening in the drapes.

Seeing this made me think about God and HIS faithfulness in bringing the sun and the day followed by the darkness and the night.

Those of us, who belong to God, don't talk about "mother nature" like the people of the world do. We know it is God Who creates and controls the weather and it is HIS faithfulness which provides the days and nights and the seasons.

And I am reminded of the following scripture where God promised the following...

Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

How do we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood?

Jesus is "THE WORD".  Each time we eat the Word and make it a part of our lives on this earth by doing The Word, HE, Jesus lives in us.

This is the communion with God.  This is the way we partake of the Lord's Supper.  We eat The Word, doing The Word.

This causes us to live in Jesus.

33  For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
 
35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Revelation from God concerning the great tribulation

In the first plague of the great tribulation, 1/3 of the earth will be affected.  Therefore it is possible others on this earth will not recognize this as a part of the great tribulation.
 
In the second and third plague of the great tribulation, 1/3 of the earth will also be affected.
 
But in the fourth plague, all the earth will be affected.

That which the Holy Spirit called to my attention in 2020 is "1/3" ... and we can see how it fits as we look at these scriptures in Revelation which tell of the plagues of the great tribulation that are coming upon this present earth before God destroys this heaven and earth.

I am grateful to report that I am still cancer free after the most recent PET scan. In December 2024 I was being repeatedly impressed with, "you are healed".  Since then, several tests have been conducted and results were negative for cancer. 
 
A few days ago I was awaiting the PET scan, I was reminded of the words, "no shadow of turning"

I thank God for His infinite mercy in this healing. It is a gift.

πŸ’₯ God is our help in all things

Yesterday the farrier came to trim and clean our horses hooves. Our white horse has been limping intermittently for the past couple of weeks. 
 
We went to the field early and spent time talking to them and grooming them before the farrier arrived. 
 
He did the black one first. Our white one, Winter, has given him some trouble in the past ... trying to wiggle away and waving her head around. She has pushed the farrier and my husband aside then walked away as far as the lead would let her. A few years ago it was necessary to administer a sedative injection prior to the farrier visit. This is especially a problem when she is sore as the farrier picks the dirt out of the underside of her hoof. He does this with a metal tool that looks like a claw. When she wiggles around my husband holds her tighter and commands her to relax. 
 
Yesterday he came to the sore hoof and I prayed for God to help her and my husband to relax. I kept praying until the farrier was done.  He removed a rock stuck in her hoof. 
 
It was the most well behaved she had ever been. I praised God and thanked Him for helping the situation. 

How wonderful it is to belong to God and to be able to call on HIM for help.

Psalms 121:2  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

πŸ’₯ The communication of our faith

4 I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 
 
5 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 
 
6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. 
 
How do we "communicate our faith"? 
 
I think one way we do this is by sharing how God has helped us when we turned to Him, asking for help with something we were facing, as Beth did today. We are showing that our faith is not in ourselves but in God.
 
When I read how someone has been helped by God, I believe it has an effect on my faith, making it stronger, kind of like getting a booster shot.  We all need this!

And I know we give glory to God when we acknowledge how He has answered our prayers.

πŸ’₯ Podcast: Is there a difference between the Old Testament "God" and the New Testament "God"?

Some preachers speak of a difference between the "God" of the Old Testament and the "God" of the New Testament, as if God has changed.

These preachers disregard scriptures such as:

Galatians 6:7-8   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

II Corinthians 5:9-11    Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, 
whether it be good or bad.  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

I Corinthians 6:9-10  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And in the book of Revelation, we read of that great tribulation, the 14 plagues God will send upon this present earth in the last days before Jesus returns.

Revelation 8

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Matthew 24    Jesus says:  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

29-31  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Then God destroys the present heavens and the earth:

II Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

After we meet Jesus in the air, we are taken to that new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21

1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Dears in Christ,

My husband Gianluca - (Italy), has been attacked 2 times, tonight and early this morning with 2 awful mental oppressions, while sleeping, the second worst than the first.  Even if we have prayed and taken authority he's still attacked.
 
I ask prayer till the Lord reveals to us what is "the root" of those attacks, those mental oppressions

I had this happen to me about two months ago. 
 
I just kept calling out to God for help.
 
Hold onto God. Refuse to let go.
 
Just keep crying out to God.

We cry out to God for help:  "Please, God, help me."

It is really as simple as that.

Trust in God.  Wait on God until you receive information.

It is very dangerous to look for scripture in such times.  Just wait after crying out to God, trusting HIM.

God might choose to bring something to your attention to do, or the battle might just end.

Regardless, we hold onto God, crying out to God for help.

What do we do? as we continue to live on this present earth.

I go by these instructions which Paul gave to Timothy in the New Testament Bible:

I Timothy 4

13 Till I come, give attendance to readingto exhortationto doctrine.

14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee  ... (the spiritual gift which God has given us for the church)

15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

to reading:

The New Testament Bible is filled with letters which the apostle Paul wrote to the church.

I've been re-reading these epistles in a single setting.  Such as reading the entire letter to the Romans.

Then I read the next day the entire first letter to the Corinthians ... then the second letter to the Corinthians ... then the following days, reading the letters: Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, etc.

I also focus on some of the meditation scriptures which I have accumulated for these build me up in the faith in God and help me to stay focused.

I read our blog daily:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations 

In my bathroom, I keep one of the ministry books that we have published on Amazon.  (see Joan Boney)

These books are filled with scripture.  I use paperback book for bathroom.  You can start anywhere in any one of the books and be edified in things of God with many scriptures.  I find re-reading these books helpful to me.

Often as I am reading, God will catch my attention on a subject for me to write that subject.  For example, when I began reading I Corinthians 1:1-2  Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:  God got my attention on how we are all called to be saints.

I thought of how the Catholic church appoints certain dead men and women as "saints" and how they teach their people that these dead "saints" have certain powers to help them, which is abominable doctrine for they teach their people to trust in corpses rather than to trust in the living God.

I was stirred up by the Holy Spirit to write an exhortation to the church concerning the subject of "saints" according to the Bible meaning.

* to exhortation:

To exhort means to urge earnestly by advice and warning.  We are to exhort one another in the faith in God and the Word of God.  For the days are certainly evil and many evil concepts are spoken by humans on TV and in person.

I Timothy 4:7-8   But refuse profane (secular sayings) and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.  8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

A Catholic woman often visited me at my previous home in Texas.  She spoke many "profane" sayings which were not in the Bible.  I would just look at her and tell her I lived by the Bible and what she just said was not in the Bible.  This is the way I "rejected" her profane sayings.

When you do this, they will usually depart from you and choose not to keep company with you any more.

to doctrine:

Doctrine is critical for us.  Doctrine are the rules of God from the New Testament church.  We live by doctrines, such as:

* The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:32)

* Flee fornication:  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body but he who committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  (I Corinthians 6)

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.  (I Corinthians 7:10-11)

*  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.   And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  (Romans 1:26-28)

* Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (I Corinthians 6:9-10)

* For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  (Hebrews 10:26-29)

* For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.  (Hebrews 6:4-6)

* For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.  (II Peter 2:20-22)

It is critical for us to keep reading these doctrines of Christ for this world and the churches today teach something very different from the New Testament Bible.

So I have set myself daily to do that which Paul said to do:  "Give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine."

I believe doing this gives me a better opportunity to endure to the end of my time on this earth.

Jesus says:

Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
