πŸ’₯ Scriptures:

Psalm 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

John 6:28-29  Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him (the Word) whom He hath sent.

Nehemiah 8:8-11  (The people of Israel had been returned from captivity in Babylon. They had rebuilt the wall surrounding Jerusalem. While they were there, a census was taken. The people were of one accord and requested a reading of the book of the law of Moses.)

8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

(Comments from Beth Martin, member of the body of Christ:   Our joy comes as we think and ponder on what God has done for us.
There is a peace also in the security that He loves us because He has performed that which helps us.
We know that He gives us good things for our benefit. It helps us to rest and trust in Him ...... it is our strength.)

Romans 15:4-5   For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

Hebrews 6:10  For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward HIS name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
