God uses HOLY SPIRIT that is in us to keep us in HIS way.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

As we travel along God's highway, the Holy Spirit rises up in us to remind us of the right way to keep us from turning off that highway of God.

I John 4:4-6    Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

***

The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to reveal God's will to us.  (I Corinthians 2)

As soon as we hear from the Holy Spirit, the devil will likely bring us another idea to get us to follow devil and our own flesh which sides with devil.

So the battle begins.

Which way to go?  What is truth in the matter?

We pray, and trust in God, knowing assuredly that God will get HIS truth to those of us who have a good heart, are born of HIS Spirit, and really want to know.

Remember when God saved you and gave you HIS Spirit?

I certainly remember that ... and I think of that time for it is so stablizing to me.

***

God is a spirit.  (John 4:24)

But rest in this truth:  God knows how to reach us!

If we trust in ourselves we will become fearful.

If we trust in God and depend on the Holy Spirit we can relax knowing the following truth.

Jesus says:

John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

***

The Holy Spirit that is in us rises up to bring to our mind a scripture, a dream, a concept to show us the will of God for our lives.  Thus it is "the living word", alive, vibrant, suited exactly to fit our need at that moment ... and it is the will of God for us in the issue at hand.

Shortly after I was born again in 1975, I had a business in American Indian arts in Dallas.  A man filed a lawsuit against me and other dealers in Dallas.  Legal fees were eating up all the profit to my business.   I prayed, "What to do?"  And the Holy Spirit called the following scripture to my mind.

Isaiah 54:17    No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the Lord.

I began to reason with myself:

"No weapon formed against me will prosper.  This lawsuit and all these legal fees that I am paying are certainly weapons against me.  I am now a servant of God.  Therefore these weapons will not prosper.  So why am I paying lawyer to defend me?  I can at least stop these legal bills.  I will go to court without any human lawyer."

WHO was leading me in this decision?

WHO brought that scripture to my mind?

God, by the Holy Spirit, brought that specific scripture to my mind.  That is the direction for me to go in this issue.

I was a very young Christian at that time.  I made an appointment with my pastor to discuss my thinking with him and to receive his counsel.   As I drove to the appointment, I prayed for God to give pastor wisdom.

After I spoke, pastor said, "Joan ... I perceive you have faith to do this."

I released my attorney.

Then attorney said, "Joan ... you can't do this!  You just don't know how evil these courts are."

With that, I told Gordon the following:

"I am a Christian ... and in the Bible God says no weapon that is formed against me will prosper ... This lawsuit is a weapon against me ... That weapon will not prosper."

***

A few days later, lawyer came to me saying,  "Joan ... we have decided to continue to represent you without any future legal fees."

(But I didn't hear Gordon say anything about God sending him to do this.)

I replied:  "You're going to have to let me get back to you on this."

I prayed:  "God ... what do YOU want me to do?"

The Holy Spirit brought the following scripture to my mind:

Genesis 14:22-23    And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,  That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

By that scripture, I believed God was telling me not to accept the "free" legal counsel which amounted to about $10,000, and to go to court without human legal counsel as I had previously planned to do because of Isaiah 54:17.

So I told lawyer I could not accept the free counsel and I continued with the plan to go to court without human legal counsel.

I was very frightened!

But I was also satisfied that I had heard from God on this issue.

During those months, the Holy Spirit brought several other scriptures to my mind to settle me and to give me courage and strength.  I wrote down those scriptures and then recorded them on a cassette recorder on both sides of the tape, playing these scriptures over and over.  I would put the tape on when I went to bed and I would fall asleep to the tape playing those scriptures given me by the Holy Spirit.  Each time I awoke in the night, I would turn the tape over and begin playing the scriptures again and fall asleep again to those scriptures playing.  This continued for a few months.

The trial date was set for USA District Court.

Six days before we were to appear in court, I received a phone call from the lawyer of the man who was suing us.  The lawyer said he was calling me because I did not have a lawyer.  His client had "cut us loose"  removing the charges.

I asked the lawyer if the charges were dropped against everyone or just against me.

The lawyer said, "He cut everyone loose!"

It was over ... almost.

My former lawyer came to my business to see me.  Gordon said he wanted me to know they had discussed my case for weeks at the law firm and they believed what I said happened actually happened.

God intervened.  No weapon formed against me would be allowed to prosper.

Through this, I saw that not only does God bless me, but God blesses other people through my actions as I believe what HE has told me by HIS Spirit and as I act upon that which I believe.

*  The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Truth, searches the heart of God where we are concerned and shows us the will of God for us at that specific moment in things of this present life.

Two examples:

I was driving along the highway and at a signal light, I noticed a pick up truck with a flat bed trailer loaded with fire wood for fireplace.  I thought, "I wish my fireplace was wood burning."  Immediately the thought came into my mind (from Holy Spirit), "You can have that!" ... Instantly I realized that was true, I could change my fireplace from gas logs to wood burning.  I had never thought of that before. I was out of debt and had more than enough money saved to make this change.  The next morning I called the fireplace shop and arranged to have this change made and I lived the remaining years in that house with real wood burning in that fireplace.

Psalm 84:11   For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will HE withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Another example:  At one point, I purchased a new TV.  It had a problem with the picture.  The dealer said he would calibrate the TV but he did not do that and I continued to live for the next year with streaked picture.  I would try to fix the problem with my remote when I was greatly troubled as I often was with the picture.  One day, as I was trying to make the picture clearer, I had the following brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit of God:  "You don't have to live with that."

I paused and began thinking ... and then I responded, "That's right!" ... Never before had I considered replacing that TV.  It was an expensive TV and I had it only one year.  But I believed I had heard the truth from God.  I did not have to live with that TV.  I had the money whereby I could just go buy another TV,  which I did immediately.  I had the installer remove the defective plasma, getting it completely out of my sight.  Years later, I forgave the dealer who had defrauded me.

The Holy Spirit shows us the way of peace and the way that is the will of God for us at that specific point in time.

*  God leads us through dreams to show us what to do.

In 2001, I had a dream where I was building a house.  I even saw the exact lot where I was building.

At the time of this dream, I had a nice house in Clovis, NM (USA), where my mother and I lived.  I had no plans at all for building another house.

Toward the end of that year, my mother, 97-years-old, fell and broke another hip.  I had been shown in a dream that when she fell again, it would end her life. She died about 2 months after this second fall.

I made plans immediately to sell the house in Clovis and to move to Lubbock, Texas.

In Lubbock, I met with realtor and looked at a few houses, but I couldn't forget that dream where I was building a house.  I met with a contractor and began building a house in Lubbock, where I lived for the next 19-years.

I fell in the night in 2018.  As the ambulance people rolled me past the front door of my house in Lubbock, I heard these words from God, by HIS Spirit.  "You'll never see this house again."

I knew that was true.  The season for my living in that house at that location in Texas had ended.  I put the house up for sale immediately, not knowing where I would be going.  But I knew God had a plan for me and HE would reveal it, which HE did in a few weeks.

I would be moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to live in home of one of the members of our little church group.

(Pam is a very godly woman, praying over things and really hearing from the Spirit of God and doing what she knows God has shown her to do.)

After 2 1/2 months in rehabilitation hospitals in Lubbock, Texas, Pam flew to Lubbock from Denver to help me get from Texas to Colorado by air.  My physical condition at that time was so bad I would not have been able to fly alone.

Four months later, as I write this to you, my physical condition has greatly improved, though I am 81-years-old, and I'm able to write again and do many things about the house by using a walker.

I was unable to write on blog or books between the fall on December 6, 2018, and March 1, 2019.

I believe I would have died on the hall floor at my house in Texas, except for one thing God spoke to me by HIS Spirit and said to me, "You can do this,"  as I was trying crawl, on one hip, to inch myself to the area where there was a phone.

I had a broken hip and a very badly broken left wrist as I tried to inch my way on the floor from hallway to bedroom.  It took 4 1/2 hours.  When I reached the phone cord and pulled on the cord, the receiver to the phone squirted off and I never saw it again.  A Kindle tablet was lying under the table where it was recharging.  I crawled a few more agonizing feet and got my hand on the tablet and finally managed to send email to our church group:  "Help ... fallen ... send ambulance."

Pam Padgett, in Colorado, received that email and called the Lubbock, Texas, police department asking for ambulance to be sent to my house in Texas.  Then she sent email to me and our church group telling us that she had arranged for ambulance to come to my house.

I was very glad to hear the ambulance people at my front door!

By HIS Spirit, God does all things for us and makes all things possible ... by HIS Spirit WHO dwells in us!

Hymn:  Hallelujah! Sing to Jesus

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Hallelujah! sing to Jesus,
His the scepter, His the throne;
Hallelujah! His the triumph,

His the victory alone.

Hark, the songs of His redeemed ones

Thunder like a mighty flood:
Jesus out of every nation

Hath redeemed us by His blood.

2.  Hallelujah! not as orphans
Are we left in sorrow now;
Hallelujah! He is in us,

Faith believes, nor questions how.

Though the clouds from sight received Him

When the forty days were o’er,
Shall our hearts forget His promise,

“I am with you evermore“?

3.  Hallelujah! Bread of heaven (The Word),
Thou on earth our food, our stay;
Hallelujah! here the hungry

Come to Thee from day to day.

Advocate and Intercessor,

My Redeemer pleads for me,
On the throne of the Almighty

Now and to eternity.

4.  Hallelujah! sing to Jesus,
His the scepter, His the throne;
Hallelujah! His the triumph,

His the victory alone.

Hark, the songs of His redeemed ones

Thunder like a mighty flood:
Jesus out of every nation,

Hath redeemed us by His blood.

Scripture pertaining to this hymn:

John 1:1-4   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by HIM
(The Word / Jesus); and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.

In HIM (The Word / Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men.

(God created the heavens and earth and all things through THE WORD ... And THE WORD rules ... yet the WORD is subject to God the Father.)

***

Concerning the blood of Jesus ... God gave me a very strong revelation as follows:

Hebrews 9:12   ... by HIS own blood HE entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us ... v. 22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

I have shed none of my own blood to pay for my sins.  Jesus did shed HIS own blood to pay for my sins.  My sins can never be paid for by my works, by trying to make up for what I did wrong.  Only through entering into belief in Jesus' blood can I be saved from my sins.

***

We are heirs with Christ through Jesus' blood.

Romans 8:11-17    But if the Spirit of HIM that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

***

John 6:35   (Jesus said)    I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.

Jesus, THE WORD, is the bread we, who are children of God, eat and drink.

The Lord's supper is THE WORD which we live by.  We eat and drink THE WORD continually as we live on this earth.

THE WORD (Jesus) is flesh and blood to us.

John 6:48-51    Jesus says:   I am that bread of life.

(Jesus, THE WORD, is our bread.)

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

(THE WORD comes down from heaven to us today and comes into our minds by His Spirit speaking ...  THE WORD is living bread for that word delivered to us today comes from God, The Father, through HIS Spirit who lives in us ... HE speaks to us through Jesus' Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and shows us the way to go as we live on this earth today ... God does this by bringing HIS thoughts to our minds by HIS Spirit.  John 14:26 & John 16:13)

***

John 6:53-58   Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.

(Life is in The Word of God ... and the way we eat and drink that WORD given us by God.)

Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I
(dwell) in him.

As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me.

This
(
The Word) is that bread which came down from heaven

Instruction in Righteousness: Romans 8

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

(To walk after the Spirit is to walk in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance ... Galatians 5:22-23)

***

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (The Word) hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

***

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;

(Things of the flesh:  adultery, fornication, uncleanness/defrauding others, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcrafts/superstitions, hatred, variance/arguing, emulations/trying to outdo others, wrath/desiring revenge, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings/partyings ... Galations 5:19-21)

but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(Things of the Spirit:  love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.)

***

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

***

11 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

***

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

(We suffer with Christ each time we see someone disobeying the Word of God and we grieve because we love the Word of God, and we follow the Word of God not letting our own flesh lead us, thereby not allowing our flesh to have it's own way and thereby causing our flesh to "suffer".  We choose instead to go by The Word of God in the matter at hand, thus walking in the Spirit of The Word. )

***

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

(Each time God, by HIS Spirit, brings to our mind The Word of God on an issue of this life and we choose to do that Word, we are conformed to the "image" of The Word, Jesus Christ, who is The Word.)

***

30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

***

I John 1:7    But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

***

31 What shall we then say to these things If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth?

(If we are justified by God through the cleansing blood of Jesus and the Spirit of God, that is all that is needed.  If God approves us, that is all that matters.)

It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

(Jesus, The Word, intercedes for us … and the Spirit intercedes for us.)

***

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

***

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Heritage of the Servants of the Lord

Book:  Exhortations For The Church
Vol. 10, Chapter 7
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Isaiah the prophet says ... (Isaiah 54:17)

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

*****

The apostle Paul says ... (Romans 8:28)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

*****

The following is an example of the truth of both of the above scriptures:

A man became angry with me and turned me into IRS for them to investigate me.  (a weapon formed against me)

When the 2 IRS agents appeared at my house, the man said the name of the local man who had been angry with me.

I replied, "No ... I'm Joan Boney."

(He, the IRS man, looked very embarrassed.  He was carrying a clip board and the name he first read was apparently at the top of this form he held.  I realized that was the name of the man who had requested that the IRS investigate me.  This was a man in our town with whom I had done business and we had run into trouble against one another through the project.)

After the agents viewed the bookkeeping they found I had done nothing wrong in the reports given to IRS.

Then the agent told me he noticed I was not enrolled in the Social Security program.

I told him, "No ... when we began the ministry I had signed a vow of poverty with IRS so the ministry would not have to pay any social security taxes for me."  We had very little money when we started.  This meant I would not receive social security benefits nor hospitalization services from the federal government in future years.

At the time I signed this vow, it was explained to me that it could never be revoked therefore I would never be permitted back into social security program.

The IRS agent said somehow the "vow" never got filed with IRS so if I would like to do so I could buy back into the social security program.

We had more money at that time so I did want to buy back into the program.

As a consequence of this, I began receiving monthly checks from government when I was 62 ... and when I was 74 and broke a hip, my hospital expenses were covered by medicare and also one month in a rehabilitation hospital. (this was thousands of dollars of medical expense)

For the past 10 years or so, I have not taken a salary from the ministry.  I have enough for my personal needs by using the monthly check provided by the social security program.

As a result of the IRS audit, I learned I could return to the social security program and as a result I was greatly helped in the future years... all because this man turned me in to IRS to be audited as a weapon!

Like Joseph, I saw the following ...

Genesis 50:20 ... But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good,

Scriptures from today's blog

(Recommend:  Copy these scriptures on paper and keep before you day and night.)

***

I Corinthians 2:9-13  But as it is written: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knoweth the things of God, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

These things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(Things of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.)

***

Romans 8:6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

***

Romans 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

***

Romans 8:11-14  But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

***

Romans 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

(We suffer with Christ each time we see someone disobeying the Word of God and we grieve because we love the Word of God, and we follow the Word of God not letting our own flesh lead us, thereby not allowing our flesh to have it's own way and thereby causing our flesh to "suffer". We choose instead to go by The Word of God in the matter at hand, thus walking in the Spirit of The Word. )

***

Romans 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

(The people of the world want "freedom to sin." We, who are of God, want freedom from sin.)

***

Romans 8:27-28  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

***

Romans 8:29  For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

(Each time God, by HIS Spirit, brings to our mind The Word of God on an issue of this life and we choose to do that Word, we are conformed to the "image" of The Word, Jesus Christ, who is The Word.)

***

I John 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

***

Romans 8:31-35  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

HE that spared not HIS own Son, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall HE not with HIM also freely give us all things?

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Who is he that condemneth?

It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us

***

Romans 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

***

Romans 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

***

Romans 8:38-39  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That ye may approve things that are excellent ... but not things that are corrupt.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

We do not approve all things ... but that we approve things that are excellent!  Philippians 1:10

Philippians 1:27  stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

The Spirit of God in us does not have two opinions.

We strive to have one mind on the issue at hand and this we can do if each of us have a good heart and pray, trusting God to set us in agreement by HIS Spirit.

Once I told Pam Padgett, who does the technical work for our books, that we had to have the paperback books in both red and black print, which costs a good deal more to publish.

Within seconds, God changed my mind on that and I sent email to Pam telling her she could publish paperback books in black:  bold, standard, and italics  (e-books are in color)

Even in secular things, God brings us into one mind by HIS Spirit who dwells in us as believers.

Hymn:  Great is THY faithfulness

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  Great is Thy faithfulness,
O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning

  with Thee;
Thou changest not,
Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been
  Thou forever wilt be.

Chorus:

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see;

All I have needed Thy WORD hath provided—

Great is Thy faithfulness,
Lord, unto me!

2.  Summer and winter,
and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

3.  Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Scriptures pertaining to this hymn:

James 1:17    Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

***

Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

God set all things in the solar system and they are faithful to continue in the commandment of God.  We see the faithfulness of God's word day by day as the seasons continue and as the sun is visible day by day.

As God is faithful in this word, we can have faith God will perform every word HE has given us.

Instruction in Righteousness: Romans 7

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

***

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

(After we are born again, we want to do the will of God.  It is no longer that we have to do the will of God by the law but rather we want to do the will of God.  Therefore through faith we fulfill the law after we are born again, no longer yielding to our own flesh as we once did but committing ourselves to God that we might now do HIS will.)

What shall we say then?

Is the law sin?

God forbid.

Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

13 Was then that which is good made death unto me?

God forbid.

But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:

for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

***

Romans 8:1    There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Revelation 1:5    And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

I John 1:7   the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
