Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
In 1979, God showed me to close my business in Dallas, Texas, and "go into the ministry" full time.
I had no income, no contributors, and no prospect of an income.
I closed the business on July 31, 1979, and stayed at home in my apartment in Dallas and waited.
6 months later, I was asleep in the night when a very loud trumpet-like voice sounded 3 words in my ear: Hartford, Seattle, KWJS
Within about 3 days, I had a contract to broadcast on station KWJS which cost "me" $800 per month.
But with radio came some offerings from radio audiences.
In 1985, I moved to Clovis, NM (USA), to help my mother who was in her late 70's.
I had terminated the radio broadcasts in 1984, but still had several radio people contributing money.
I was able to build 2 apartments on a lot owned by my mother. This cost $45,000 for each apartment. ($90,000) for both. No mortgage. I used my mother's money and ministry money and barely had enough to build there.
I was not happy in that neighborhood.
Some money was still coming in from former radio audience.
1988, I was able to buy a lot on the golf course for $13,800, again paying cash.
In 1990, I decided to put the apartments up for sale and build house for myself and my mother on that golf course lot.
One apartment sold for approximately $50,000 and the other apartment rented.
I used my mother's money and ministry money spent $100,000 cash to build on golf course lot which I owned.
In 2001, my mother died and I put house on golf course up for sale. That house sold for $227,000.
(The apartment which we still owned, had brought in $40,000 during the decade of rental. I had all that money plus the apartment sold for another $40,000, so the apartment money was $80,000 which I used along with the golf course house sale of $227,000 to build the Lubbock house paying cash no mortgage.)
I moved to Lubbock, Texas, and bought a lot for $30,000 and built house to live in paying cash, no mortgage.
2018, I fell and God said to me as the ambulance people rolled me on gurney out front door, "You'll never see this house again."
In 2018, while I was in a rehabilitation hospital in Lubbock, Texas, we had 7 members of former radio audience still contributing to ministry needs.
One of those contributors left at the end of December, 2018.
Then there were 6 contributors from former radio audience.
(Several of former radio audience had grown old and died. No new contributors, although I am publishing books and blog and more than 890,000 people have viewed the blog, no offerings from anyone. I am currently 81. Of the 5 remaining radio audience, two are in their 60's. The others are in 70's. Everyone is retired.)
February 24, 2019, I was able to leave the hospital and move to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to home of Pam Padgett from our church group, putting Texas house up for-sale.
We lost another contributor in June of 2019.
That left 5 contributors! But we still owned the debt free house in Texas!
From 1985 through the move to Lubbock, Texas, in 2001, I have been building debt free houses.
People often criticized me for building the house in Lubbock, saying it was too big for me.
Had I not built that house, I believe all the ministry money would have evaporated and we would now have nothing for potential income with contributors dying and leaving.
So now what do I do with our largest contributor, of only 6 being gone and no prospect of additional contributors that I can see?
At the end of my life, there is still that house in Texas which has the potential of clearing $300,000 cash!
God keeps making a way when there is no way!
People reduce in number without my trying to entice more people by cunning speech or by begging for offerings.
Offerings decrease with no potential of income.
We are a ministry, not a business!
But there continues to be a way ... because God makes a way ... all I have to do is what I see to do along the way, which I have done, by faith.
I never tried to get money when I began in ministry in the late 1970's through current date.
I do not believe money should be focal point of a real ministry of Jesus.
God just keeps making a way.
It is still very exciting to see the way God provides, even in loss of income as people leave or die and I keep living and doing the work of the ministry, exhorting the church people wherever they live, through blog and books world wide!
I love the work I get to do!
And God makes a way, both to exhort the church through blog and books, and also financially.
I have "no want" and haven't had any "want" since I became a minister of Jesus Christ in 1979.
When God calls you, HE also provides the way and the money! No begging!
