* Molehills that seem to be mountains

Joan Boney … apostle/prophet

The insurance on the house in Texas, which we are trying to sell, expires June 24, in one week.

Betsy, our friend in Texas, said she drove past my house and nearly everyone in my neighborhood was putting on new roofs.   Hail damage.

We asked our existing insurance company to inspect our roof.  Pam called about this and also she was to call contractor.  It seemed so gigantic to both of us.

Pam reported these calls to me this morning and it all seemed so simple.  (I also asked her to call our contractor and tell him what Betsy had told us.  He said the next time he is in the neighborhood, he will check the roof.)

When we are faced with doing something, it can seem more burdensome than it actually is.

This is one reason I like to take care of these secular matters as soon as possible.  I know devils can expand the problem the longer I wait, adding to the mental strain on me.

Proverbs 4:23    Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

ReportBenefit from accumulation of scriptures to review

Pam Padgett told me she was looking at a list of scripture and she realized she was troubled over a couple of things which she had failed to pray about.

This was a confirmation to me of the benefit we can derive from keeping before us lists of scripture.  Even if we take today's blog, and write out all the scriptures in the blog, and add to that list tomorrow, and look at this list from time to time, I believe there will be blessings in it for us.  And of course, keep scripture given you by Holy Spirit on a list.

Joshua 1:8    This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

When we do a scripture, we honor the Word of God, Jesus, and God.

I Peter 5:5-9   Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

(I suspect Peter is speaking of submitting ourselves to others in the church who have the Spirit of God.  But certainly we would not want to be arrogant against the worldly people either.)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time:

(Each time we take a concern to God in prayer we humble ourselves … for we show we do not trust in our own wisdom and cleverness but rather we seek the wisdom from God.)

Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.

Be sober (clear minded), be vigilant (caring for details in a timely way and being watchful over ourselves); because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith...

(The devil and his ideas are resisted by that which is given us by the Holy Spirit who rises up in us.)

(Work of the Holy Spirit)

John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
