* Part III - Scriptures given by God for warfare

Joan Boney … apostle/prophet

After I was born again in 1975, it was God who showed me I was called and set into the body of Christ as a apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ.

I was shown, by the Spirit of God, by many events and many scriptures, to confirm the calling and to establish me in the work I was to do by the will of God in the church.

Many have fought against me to deny the ministries of apostle/prophet and to get me to deny the heavenly calling.

To hold on to what God has shown me and to be able to continue in that calling, God has reminded me of many scriptures which I copied and put by my bed so I could read these scriptures and reflect on them and be sustained and not be swept away by contrary thinking of humans when such attacks come as they do come.

Here are scriptures given me in this current battle:

***

Part III  (scriptures used in spiritual warfare … June, 2019 battles)

Ephesians 4:8-12    Wherefore HE (Jesus) saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.  (Now that HE ascended, what is it but that HE also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?  HE that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.)

And HE (Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

(Paul was one of those apostles/teachers given to the church after Jesus ascended into heaven. Paul announced the heavenly calling and did not deny that calling, although some, in Paul's day, did not accept Paul as an apostle.  We see that in the following scriptures.  Paul was like the apostles of today.  Paul was appointed an apostle by Jesus after Jesus arose, unlike Peter and the other 11 apostles who walked with Jesus when Jesus was on the earth in the flesh.  Paul was appointed from heaven.)

Galatians 1:1   Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead;)

Romans 1:1    Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

I Corinthians 1:1    Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

II Corinthians 1:1    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

Ephesians 1:1    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 1:1   Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

I Timothy 1:1   Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

II Timothy 1:1    Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

Titus 1:1    Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

***

(In Paul's day, there were some who did not think Paul could be an apostle.)

I Corinthians 9:2    If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.

II Corinthians 11:5    For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

Acts 26:19    Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

***

Acts 9:1-6    And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,  And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto himSaul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?

And he said, Who art thou, Lord?

And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

***

Acts 26:9-19   (Paul gives his testimony to king Agrippa.)   I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And I said, Who art thou, Lord?

And HE said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me
.

Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

***

Concerning a woman ruling:   consider Deborah

Judges 4:4-5    And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

(God gives HIS wisdom to HIS anointed that they may see correctly and judge issues through God's view.)

***

John 16:2-3   They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor ME.

Garbage dream:  June, 2019

People had dumped their garbage at my front door and all along the front side of my house. It had to be cleaned up.

(What they say is garbage against me.)

God's view as shown by this dream.

Focus on what God says, not on what they say.

***

Luke 6:11    And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

***

Isaiah 54:15, 17    Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by ME: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

… No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the Lord.

***

Luke 6:22-23    Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

***

Revelation 12:12    Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

***

II Peter 3:10-14   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

***

Matthew 24:44-51    Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

***

Luke 21:34-36    And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(Watch yourself.)

***

Ephesians 5:21    Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Hebrews 13:17     Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

I Peter 5:5   Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
