πŸ’₯ Man lives by "every word" that proceeds from the mouth of God.

There is no word from God that is too little to share with others.

I Corinthians 1:21 ... It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

We must be faithful  to God to share every word given us by God.  God entrusts us with HIS word.

Each time the Holy Spirit brings to our mind a word given us by God we must faithfully share that word, holding nothing back.

I am very careful to share all that God has said to me.  (And should I fail to share that word, the Holy Spirit reminds me and then I share.)

Also each time I am reminded of a word from God I share it even if I have shared it before.

And when I am with another person, I am careful to share when the Holy Spirit reminds me of a scripture or concept or dream or event.  For I know that is what God wants that person to hear at that time.

And often I pray that God not let me speak or write anything unless HE wants it spoken.

And I follow that which is brought to my mind by the Holy Spirit, sharing that word, not speaking by my own ideas but by the Spirit of God.

I Corinthians 2  The apostle Paul says:

1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and HIM crucified.

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Podcast: Comparing spiritual things with spiritual

As we study the Bible the Holy Spirit takes us from scripture to scripture, comparing spiritual things with spiritual, rightly dividing the Word of God.

I Corinthians 2:12-14

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

If we consider only one scripture on the subject, we might deceive ourselves.

For example:  concerning divorce and remarriage

Matthew 5:32  Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

The only time in NT Bible a man is permitted to divorce his wife and marry another is if his wife is "unfaithful".

Some might look at this scripture in a superficial way and think the woman can divorce an unfaithful husband and marry another man.

But you must consider what Paul says is "a commandment of the Lord" in I Corinthians 7:10-11.

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband:
and let not the husband put away his wife.

And in Matthew 5:32, note that if the man divorces the faithful wife and she remarries she will commit adultery and he will be the cause of her adultery.  And the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

We must also consider Mark 10 concerning what Jesus said about divorce and remarriage.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

One flesh is a very serious matter.  Can a divorce paper from a court of man separate the two after they have been made by God to be one flesh?"

πŸ’₯ The Bible tells us to pray for our rulers that we would be able to live in peace. My prayer when Donald Trump was elected president. My prayer when Mr. Biden was dealing with the war between Russia and Ukraine..

(Comments by Joan Boney:)  Let me restate that I am not a member of either USA political party and I do not vote for men, but I do sometimes pray for the rulers as we are told to do in the Bible.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

1 Timothy 2:1-2  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Concerning Donald Trump:  My prayer was that God not allow Donald Trump to discharge any nuclear weapons while he was president.

Concerning Joseph Biden:  My prayer was that God not allow Joseph Biden to draw us into a war.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

So far both of my prayers have been answered.

As a minister of God and those teachings presented in the Bible, so far, I have been able to speak the doctrines of the Bible to people in the USA without censorship on Internet by both blog and Podcast.

For this I am very grateful.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

As a minister of God and the Bible, God has taught me I must not put myself in a position where I have to compromise or withhold messages from the Bible.

If it should ever come in USA where we were not free to speak all scriptures, I would withdraw from speaking anything on any media device.

I have long held that to be in politics you would have to compromise.  Because of this, I do not choose to support any politician.

Further the apostle John warns us as follows:

II John

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Therefore I do not go about saying, "Have a good day."  (For if I did that and that person went out and sinned, I would be "partaker of his evil deeds.")

So I would not choose to vote for any human.

Fortunately in USA we are not forced to vote as the Germans were forced to vote for Hitler in the days of Hitler.

The Bible does tell us to pray for those in authority.  So I pray for rulers, especially when I am concerned about that which they might do.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I was very shocked to see people rioting at the capitol building in USA on January 6, 2021.

I've never before seen what I believe to have been a threat against democracy as I viewed this to be.

That still does not cause me to vote.

But the scriptures do cause me to pray.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Jesus was tempted in all ways like as we are, yet without sin. (Heb. 14:15)

Luke 4

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

In Jordan, Jesus had been baptized. And the Holy Spirit remained on Jesus, said John the Baptist.

Matthew 3

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of THEE, and comest THOU to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered HIM.

16 And Jesus, when HE  was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto HIM, and HE saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon HIM:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is MY beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

John 1

32 And John (the Baptist) bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon HIM.

33 And I knew HIM not: but HE that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on HIM, the same is HE which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

(And after Jesus was baptized, the Holy Spirit led HIM into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Matthew 4

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when HE had fasted forty days and forty nights, HE was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter (the devil) came to HIM, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But HE answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

5 Then the devil taketh HIM up into the holy city, and setteth HIM on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto HIM, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, HE shall give HIS angels charge concerning THEE: and in their hands they shall bear THEE up, lest at any time THOU dash THY foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

***

Tempting God and misusing scripture in boasting:

A church going woman came to visit my mother and left her purse in her unlocked car.  My mother warned her that she had left her purse.  But she boasted, "God would never allow anyone to steal my purse."  And she continued into my mother's house without her purse, leaving her purse in her unlocked car.

When they came out of my mother's house, the purse had been stolen.

I heard people boast that God would never allow them to get Coronavirus in 2020 when it hit.  They were going to church regardless.  Many got Coronavirus and some even died according to TV news report.

Boasting is evil:

James 4

13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

It is good to take precaution, as possible, when a plague is upon the land.

God is in us at all times by HIS Holy Spirit.  We do not have to go to a church building to have God with us.

Such things as praying on the football field to be seen of other men is a sin.

Jesus even told us:

Matthew 6

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

(Once I saw a group of people standing in the front yard of their house across the street from my house.  They were in a circle holding hands with their heads bowed obviously praying.  They could have done this in the back yard which was fenced with a 6 ft wooden fence, but then people couldn't have seen them do their prayer.  This is sin.  There were small children in the circle being taught to do this by the adults.  I was hoping my next door neighbor didn't see this for she expressed hatred toward God and this would likely have caused her to hate God even more.)

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask HIM.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Matthew 4

8 Again, the devil taketh HIM up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth HIM all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto HIM, All these things will I give THEE, if THOU wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and HIM only shalt thou serve.

Mark 8:36-37   Jesus says:  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth HIM, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto HIM.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In 1982, I heard this from God.  "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."

Then God showed me sins that were being committed by some of the big-time TV ministers.

When I presented this to these ministers, I couldn't get the message past their office staff, so God led me to present the message on my radio broadcasts which were on several radio stations in USA.  Then the message reached these ministers.  About 1/2 of my stations put me off the air.  Enormous "hate" mail poured into our office from the church followers of these TV ministers.  Persecution from church goers was so severe that God gave me a dream showing me not to go out for my own meetings until I saw "Exodus 15", so I cancelled all meetings which I had planned for the radio audience across the USA.

One night while I was sleeping God gave me a dream.  An angel was at my bedside with a healing balm.  It was as if I had been shot directly in the stomach area by a shotgun.  There were holes all over my stomach.  That angel began applying a healing balm to the wounds and it felt so good.

(As I read Matthew 4:11  Then the devil leaveth HIM, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto HIM, I was reminded of that angel that came to help me when I was persecuted during the early 1980's.  Therefore I am sharing this dream with you to allow you to know that in difficult times, if needed, God might even send an angel to minister to you.)

Podcast: At the end of this world, we will meet the Lord "in the air"

We will meet the Lord "in the air".

This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God.

2 Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

We will be changed by God into our new spiritual bodies and rise to meet Jesus "in the air."

I Corinthians 15

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink! That is how quickly we will be changed to our new spiritual bodies.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The dead in Christ shall rise first to meet the Lord "in the air".

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

(One day, the Holy Spirit said to me, "In the air."  I found this in verse 17.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

After the dead in Christ are raised, those who belong to God and are still alive on this earth will be raised to meet Jesus "in the air."

Matthew 24

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

(To be taken by HIS angels to meet Jesus "in the air".)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus and HIS elect will then be taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

God showed the apostle John this new heaven and new earth.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus says:

Luke 21

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

πŸ’₯ Recently I asked God: "What will it be like in heaven?"

God said to me:  "It is like the times I've explained a scripture to you."

It was wonderful!  And often the joy from understanding that scripture would last for days.

And years later that joy would return when I came across that scripture again. And I would remember again how God taught me.

When God opens our understanding, we marvel.  And we don't want it to end.

Podcast: Let your conversation be without covetousness. (Heb. 13:5)

Conversation means:  verbal communication but it also means "manner of life".

Dictionary.com:   Meaning of communication:  behavior or manner of living

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your conversation (manner of life) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Covetousness often comes by comparing yourselves with other people.  Desiring that which other people have or desiring to outdo other people.

Therefore Paul explains:

2 Corinthians 10:12  For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

James 3:13   Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation (manner of life) his works with meekness of wisdom.

πŸ’₯ I Timothy 6:17

Trust in the living God, WHO giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

As a good earthy parent delights in seeing his child enjoy that which he has given that child, God delights in giving us, HIS Children, all good things.

Enjoy that which God gives you.

And live in peace!

One thing I really delight in:  I no longer have a house which I have to care for, but now I get to live in the house of another member of the body of Christ who prays and hears God's plans and trusts in God.

God worked this out for me.  (I am currently 85 years old!  Almost.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ If your goal is to live in peace, the following will help you a lot.

If you learn to live daily by the following scripture, you will find it much easier to live in peace:

John 18:36   Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if MY kingdom were of this world, then would MY servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is MY kingdom not from hence.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Like Jesus, our kingdom is not of this world.

When that concept lives in us, our way of life is greatly affected and peace as we live here is increased for us.

We are no longer trying to hold onto "things", for we know everything is so temporary and God will destroy this world and all that we can see with our natural eyes.  It is no longer so important to accumulate things or even to try to hold onto things.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

We no longer sorrow as we once did ... nor do we complain or protest.

God says:

Isaiah 65:17   For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus (The Word).

1 Timothy 6:8  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ All things of the Old Testament happened for "our examples" for our admonition.

I Corinthians 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯  Numbers 13-14   God gives the children of Israel an assignment:

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

3 And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan (by commandment of God), and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

18 And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.

21 So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

27 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

This is the assignment God gave us.  Therefore we are "well able" to overcome anything that comes against this assignment.

*  As a mother you are well able to overcome through God who gave you these children.  You set your attitude by these Bible promises and Bible examples and keep your faith in God in each dealing of this life.

* If you are an husband, you have the wisdom given by the living God to deal with your wife and children.  Keep in mind wherein your strength comes for the job.

*  If you are called to be a minister of God, it is God who prepares you for the assignment, and teaches you, and guides you.  As long as God allows you to live on this earth you do your assignment, keeping your understanding that it is not in your own strength that you work but in the strength of God, doing HIS will.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

As we read OT examples we see success and failure.  These examples are given to help us.  We learn from them, knowing "why" success came and "what caused" failure.

We set our path to succeed by these examples.

We walk in the way of the godly of the Bible.

David says:  I have set the LORD (The Word) always before me: because HE is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.  (Psalm 16:8)

We do not permit anything opposite to that Word from God to cause us to swerve from the direction, knowing it is God who has set our path.

Romans 8:27   In all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us.

Podcast: The Lord's Supper: Eating and drinking the Word of God in a proper way

Many churches eat crackers and drink grape juice thinking this to be the Lord's supper.

Paul tells us we must examine ourselves and eat and drink in a worthy way otherwise we will eat and drink damnation to ourselves.

How do we examine ourselves?

Even as a young child I wondered how we are to do this.

I Corinthians 11

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

We examine ourselves by the Bible, by the Word of God, making corrections as needed to our lives, properly handling the Word of God, for the Word of God is the Lord's Supper and the scriptures are to be taken worthily, doing them correctly.

1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

πŸ’₯ God always helps us!

Barbara Preston, member of the body of Christ

On the blog today listening to the podcast about the different ways in which the devil temps us and how turning to God is our help, reminded me of a dream I had years ago.

There was a small house which I knew was my house. At the front door was a creature who looked like the grinch from the Dr. Seuss story of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

But I knew he was the devil.

He was trying to come in the front door of the house but couldn’t get in, so he went around to the back door and tried to get in that way.

I thought about how the devil comes to us, to try and destroy us, and if he can’t get in one way, he will try some other way.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

On another topic …

Being born again, we know how God helps us in both spiritual ways and secular ways.

Earlier this year I needed a new winter robe to put on when getting ready for bed.

I had 2 of them already but I started noticing how the fabric on them irritated my skin and bothered me.

I can’t say that I remember praying about this but am pretty sure I did.

I looked on Amazon first because that was so easy to do and found a winter robe that was described as plush and I liked the way it looked so I ordered one.

When it arrived and I put it on, I loved it. Even the color was beautiful and it was so soft and comfortable … just exactly what I wanted but better. So I ordered a second one in another color and since getting them, I wear one of them every night even though it is summertime.

These robes make me so happy and thankful to God. When I think about how He had people make them and how they were so easily available to me.

I am so grateful to have these. And, at night, when I go to the closet to put one on, I am happy and grateful all over again!

When I think how carefully and completely God takes care of us and provides for us, it is truly amazing!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(Comments by Joan Boney:)

I had something similar happen this year.

When summer came, I needed a cooler robe.  I found one on Amazon and ordered it.  The material didn't hurt my body so I ordered 4 more robes exactly the same so we could keep them laundered.

When I was in hospital in Lubbock in 2019, they said I had "shingles".  I had a lot of trouble with materials irritating my skin.  I prayed and asked God to provide some material that didn't hurt so much.  HE led me to select one item and when I found it to work for me I ordered  4 more exactly the same so we could keep them clean.  I'm so thankful for these robes and I know God led me to exactly what would help me.

God supplies "all" our need!

πŸ’₯ This is what I heard from the Holy Spirit yesterday as I thought of the current problems concerning abortion..

"Fret not yourself because of evildoers."  (Psalm 37:1)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Abortion is murder.  And it is a type of murder unlike all other murders.  That woman is killing her own child, her own flesh and blood.

If the world can control such things as this, then let the world also pass laws against adultery and fornication.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Several years ago, the mayor of a small town in Florida made an announcement saying the devil was not permitted in their town.

(I want to live there!)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

As I was reading 2 Peter 3, God said to me:  "No matter what you do, you will never be able to make this world righteous."

It is in the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

2 Peter 3:13  Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

1 Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When God speaks to us and opens our eyes and causes us to be born again as a new creature, then we can know sin and follow God, avoiding sins of the flesh by the instruction given us by the Holy Spirit of God.

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In 1975,  God spoke to me and said:  "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."

"SINS", I exclaimed!  "I thought they were mistakes!"

With that word from God, I believed and my eyes were opened by God and I was born again.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Revelation 22

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Live in peace.  Keep yourselves in peace by the Spirit of God.  And be grateful that God chose you for salvation and saved you by the blood of Jesus which paid for your sins.  Think on this!

2 Peter 1

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as HIS divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

πŸ’₯ Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Here is the example of the above:

The brothers of Joseph sold Joseph into slavery and he was taken into Egypt as a result.  God was with Joseph and caused all that he did to prosper, even when Joseph was a slave and even when Potiphar put Joseph into prison.

Genesis 39

1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.

2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

But Potiphar's wife wanted to have sex with Joseph.  Joseph refused and fled from her and she grabbed Joseph's garment and Joseph left it behind to get away from her.  She showed it to her husband and falsely accused Joseph and Potiphar put Joseph into Pharaoh's prison.

God caused Joseph to prosper even when he was in prison.

21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

After 2 full years in prison, God gives Pharaoh dreams which trouble him.  Pharaoh's head butler has been in prison but restored to service in Pharaoh's house and he tells Pharaoh about this Hebrew man who is in the prison who can interpret dreams.

Genesis 41

1 And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river. 2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow. 3 And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river. 4 And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

5 And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good. 6 And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
7And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day: 10 Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker: 11 And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream. 12 And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. 13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

16And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

17And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river: 18 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:
19And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

20 And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

21 And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

22 And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good: 23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them: 24 And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what HE is about to do.

26 The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

27 And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

28 This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do HE sheweth unto Pharaoh.

29 Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

31 And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

32 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

33 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

37 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

45 And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

46 And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt.

(Joseph was brought into Egypt as a slave boy when he was 17 years old. Gen. 37)

And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls. 48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same. 49 And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

50 And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.

51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house. 52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

53 And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.

54 And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

By dreams interpretation, God causes Joseph to rise to rule in Egypt.

By famine God causes the children of Israel to come down to Egypt.

After Joseph is made known to his brothers who had sold him into slavery, they were afraid because Joseph now rules in Egypt.

But Joseph said to his brothers the following:

Genesis 45

5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.

6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.

7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and HE hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

Genesis 47

27 And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

Genesis 50

45 And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,

17 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.

19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

22 And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father's house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

Genesis 50:20  ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Even the evil meant against us God turns to good.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In approximately 1990, a man became angry with me and turned my name into IRS and asked them to audit me, hoping to do evil to me.

I willingly gave all my cancelled checks to the IRS and I told them the following:  "If you find I've done anything wrong it is simply a mistake and I will be happy to repay you."

(The IRS agents were shocked that I allowed them to take all my cancelled checks.)

A few weeks later they reported they found no wrong doing.

But one agent said he noticed the ministry did not pay for any Social Security for me.

I explained that when we set up the ministry in 1978, I signed a "vow of poverty" which excluded the ministry from paying into the Social Security program for me because we had no money.

The man who set up the non-profit tax status was a retired IRS agent.  He didn't want me to file a vow of poverty for he explained to me if I did this I could never receive any Social Security benefits which included hospitalization and Medicare.

Nevertheless I signed a "vow of poverty" because the ministry couldn't afford to pay for me to be in the Social Security program.

The agent said the vow of poverty papers were never filed with the IRS so if I wanted to do so I could buy back into the Social Security program.

I told him I would like to do this since the ministry now had money to do this.  So immediately I wrote out a check for $8,000 to allow me to be in that program.

About 2 years later, I became eligible to receive monthly payments which allowed me to stop taking any salary from the ministry for there was enough from Social Security to pay for my personal needs.

Then in 2012. I fell and broke my left hip and had to spend one month in a rehabilitation hospital!

Medicare covered 80% of the cost of surgery and hospital.  My supplemental insurance covered the remaining cost.

In 2018, I fell again and broke a wrist and left hip and had to stay in rehabilitation hospitals for 2 1/2 months!  The cost would have been enormous.  But again expenses were paid by both Medicare and my supplemental insurance.

While the man who turned me into IRS meant evil against me, God turned it for good.

Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

πŸ’₯ 2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of WHOM thou hast learned;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Podcast: Exercising yourself in the Word of God.

We exercise ourselves unto godliness by taking portions of scripture and doing them throughout the day.

I Timothy 4:7-8  But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Ephesians 4:29   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

πŸ’₯ Abortion

Abortion is murder.

The person who will suffer the most over abortion is the one who chooses to abort the life of her child.  In time, she will likely regret what she did as she considers that child who was never born.

But here is the scripture I heard this morning as I thought of the subject of abortion. The Holy Spirit brought the following to my mind.

Psalm 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers.

Keep yourself in peace even in the sins committed by this world.  Don't put yourself in a situation of fretting.

(fret:  worry over; let it grind against your soul; consume; devour)

God will judge.  Those HE saves HE will forgive.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I watched about 2 minutes of the evening newscast as they told about the Supreme Court ruling in USA concerning abortion.

I don't like seeing the people on either side as they protest or gloat, thinking themselves to have won.

So I avoided seeing them by turning the news off.

I do not think it works for the world to pass laws to try to stop sins of people of the world.  They did this with prohibition in the 1920's.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Psalm 37

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the LORD (The Word), and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and HE shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.

6 And HE shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for HIM: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for HE seeth that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.  15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 For such as be blessed of HIM shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of HIM shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in HIS way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with HIS hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not HIS saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

34 Wait on the LORD, and keep HIS way, and HE shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: HE is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: HE shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in HIM.

Live in peace and put your trust in God.

If you are troubled, just don't look on them.  Instead, think on things of God.

The apostle Peter says:

2 Peter 1

1 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as HIS  divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue:
