It is critical that each of us live in truth.
It is my job to warn those who are living in false doctrines or following spirits that I know not to be of God.
All scripture is inspired by God. We know scripture to be truth. But sometimes it is misunderstood and that is when I must speak as led by God.
There are many in churches who are not born again and therefore do not have the Holy Spirit of God to follow.
We cannot follow the Holy Spirit unless we have the Holy Spirit of God living in us. And even when we do have the Holy Spirit we are told to try the spirits to be sure those spirits speaking are of God. (I Jn. 4:4)
Also we must "rightly divide" the word of God, comparing scripture with scripture prayerfully and by the Holy Spirit.
Once I said to God, "If I speak that, some will misunderstand." And God said to me, "They misunderstood Paul." I replied, "Oh."
Understanding is from God. So when I fail to understand, I ask God for understanding. I know only God can cause us to understand.

This past week, I had sent many scriptures to a young man whose father was dying. I told him when we die we are asleep and when Jesus returns the dead in Christ will be raised to meet Jesus in the air and will be taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. (I Thess. 4:13-17 & Revelation 21:1-5)
I told him we will be given new spiritual bodies and he thought I was saying we would be given these new bodies at the point when we die.
I told him I believe we are given our new spiritual bodies at the point when Jesus returns and awakes us from death and raises us to meet HIM in the air. At least this is my opinion.
I did not want him to be living in a concept that we might not be able to prove by scripture.
I Thessalonians 4:13-17
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (rise before) them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When we die we simply "fall asleep". When Jesus returns "with a shout" the dead in Christ will awaken. These current physical bodies will not go into heaven with us but our new spiritual bodies will be given to us, I think when we are awakened by Jesus coming through the air.
I know we will not have these physical bodies in heaven.
I Corinthians 15:48-53
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

At the point of death, the person falls asleep. When Jesus returns the trumpet sound and the voice of Jesus as HE comes with a shout which awakens the dead and then those in Christ will be given their new spiritual bodies and rise to meet Jesus in the air.
I believe this is what these scriptures show us.
Some will still be alive on this earth when Jesus returns. After the dead in Christ are raised, those alive on this earth will be gathered by the angels and taken into the air and at that point I believe they receive their new spiritual bodies.
Matthew 24:31
At that time, they will be raised from off this earth to meet Jesus and the resurrected in the air. I believe they will receive their new spiritual bodies before they rise from off the earth.

When a person speaks by a spirit thinking it is the Holy Spirit and I hear what this person says, I have to tell that person when I think it was not the Holy Spirit but another spirit speaking through them.
That person could do much harm if he fails to recognize the Holy Spirit and allows another spirit to speak though him. Therefore I warn him.
We are told in I John 4 to try the spirits to see that the spirit is of God.
Sometimes our own spirit is speaking to us. Other times devils speak to try to get us to do something.
So it is very important to judge that spirit that speaks to you to see if it is from God.
Ideas are often brought to us by spirits. So all ideas must be judged to see if they are from God.
We can judge them by prayer.
We can read these two scriptures which show us the works of the Spirit of God: (James 3 & Galatians 5:22-23)
