Jesus says: Be it unto you according to your faith

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Matthew 9

2-7    And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith HE to him  sick of the palsy take up thy bed, and go into thine house.)

And he arose, and departed to his house.

***

18   While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay Thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

In his heart, this man had seen this before he made the trip to ask this of Jesus.  Prayer is like this for us.  In our heart, we believe before we pray that God can do this for us and when we pray according to the will of God we know HE will hear us when we ask HIM and if God hears us we have that which we ask of HIM.

I John 5:14-15   And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, HE heareth us:  And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

***

20-22   And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him and touched the hem of His garment:

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

(This woman had seen this in her heart before she came to Jesus.)

But Jesus turned him about, and when HE saw her, HE said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

***

27-29    And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

And when HE was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?

They said unto Him, Yea, Lord.

Then touched HE their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

***

Before we pray, we must believe God can do this thing we ask, otherwise why pray?

Hebrews 11:6   But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that HE is, and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

I John 5:14-15    And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:

And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

Instruction in Righteousness: From Matthew 13

1-9    The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto Him, so that He went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying,

Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

*****

10-17    And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

*****

18-23    Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

*****

24-30    Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.

The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

*****

31-32    Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:  Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

*****

33     Another parable spake He unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

*****

34    All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

*****

35-43    Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

*****

44   Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

*****

45-46    Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:  Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

*****

47-50    Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:  Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

*****

51-52    Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things?

They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

*****

53-58    And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed thence.

And when He was come into his own country, He taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?  Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?  And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

And they were offended in Him.

But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Jesus says:  "My Kingdom Is Not Of This World."  Jn. 18:36

The people who lived in the day Jesus came to this world in the flesh had heard of "THE PROPHET" God would send to rule forever.  They looked for the coming Messiah.

Jn. 6:14-15 ... Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth THAT PROPHET that should come into the world.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take HIM by force, to make HIM a king, he departed again into a mountain HIMSELF alone.

*****

But the kingdom of Jesus was not going to be as the kingdoms of men on this present earth.  Jesus' kingdom was an everlasting kingdom, not subject to fleshly corruption as the kingdoms of this present world, where there is death, sorrow, tears.  This would be a new, heavenly kingdom.

Therefore Jesus told Pilate ...

MY kingdom is not of this world: if MY kingdom were of this world, then would MY servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is MY kingdom not from hence.  Jn. 18:36

*****

The "new Jerusalem" was not going to be on this earth.  For this earth was going to be destroyed by God and a new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness would replace this present heaven and earth.

II Peter 3:10-14 ... But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

*****

God gave the apostle John a glimpse of the new heavens and new earth and the new Jerusalem.

Revelation 21:1-8 ... And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard A GREAT VOICE out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be MY son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

We, the children of God, overcome by the Word given to us by God.

There is so much joy and peace given to us by these scriptures telling of what is going to happen.

We can relax from the strife of trying to make this current world just.  This current world will never be righteous.  The current Jerusalem will never be righteous.  The righteousness that we desire is in the new heaven, the new earth, the new heavenly Jerusalem.

As everyone who has gone before us, we look for the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.   II Peter 3:13

This frees us from fretting over governments of men of this present world.

Some people say they want to make this world a better place for their children.  But that is just not going to happen according to Bible.

Paul said:   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  II Tim. 3:1

...  II Tim. 3:13-17  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing OF WHOM thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

*****

To hope in this present world that we now see is foolish when the Bible tells us what will happen to this present world.

We must hope in God.

We must realize we are simply passing through this present life, as are our children.  We must live godly lives before our children.  This is the greatest thing you can do for your children.  If you focus on this present world, you are going against Bible and you need to refocus based on scripture, living truly godly lives by the Spirit of God by looking for the new heaven and the new earth, the new city of Jerusalem, the heavenly city.  Stop fretting over this present world.  Refocus on Bible, on God.

I find great comfort in knowing this present world will be destroyed by God and not by man.  Nuclear weapons will never destroy this present world.  We do not have to fear this.

When God is ready, when the fulness of the time has come, God will shake the powers of the heaven and the earth.  Man will not be able to stop this.  It will all be of God.

Several years ago, God gave me a dream showing what would happen.

In this dream, the earth slipped on it's axis.  A TV newscaster was trying to tell the news and he was so frightened he had to stop speaking in the middle of his newscast.  Unlike other events, he knew this affected him personally.  The men of the governments and the religious leaders were meeting to see what they could do about this... men can do nothing ... this is all of God.

*****

When we know God is in charge of everything, how can we fear?  We trust in God.

I Thess. 4:13-18 ... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

Christ formed in us.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The apostle Paul wrote to the church saying:

Galatians 4:19 ... My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Christ is formed in us each time we hear from God by HIS Spirit and do that which is appropriate to HIS instruction.

Over and over as we live in this present life we conform ourselves to the image of Christ by doing that word brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit.

The ideas of this world lead us away from the way of God, getting us to do things by the way of this world.

Therefore the apostle Paul tells us the following:

Romans 12:2   be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We renew our minds by thinking of those things said to us by the word of God.

As we read the Bible correctly, with a pure heart, it is like having a blood transfusion, removing the tiredness of the thinking of this world and being refreshed by HIS blood.

And as we do HIS word that is called to our attention by HIS Spirit, that Word is established inside us.

If your desire is to get more money, consider this.

Jesus said:  Matthew 6:24-25   No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.

32-33    (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Comments by Joan Boney

If we are thinking about money and about getting money, we will be following the wrong thing and we are in danger of bringing on ourselves much sorrow.

We cannot follow after money and righteousness at the same time.

But God has another way to bring us into "prosperity".

If we seek first God, HIS way, HIS will ... and focus continually on that scripture which is brought to mind by the Holy Spirit, doing that scripture constantly, God leads us step by step, scripture by scripture, to a position where we can prosper and have good success.

But our focus is not on money but on scripture.  We follow the verses brought by God and by that we end up in the right place for the blessings of God.

The scriptures are like stepping stones through the wilderness.

Several years ago, Pam Padgett was working as a secretary at a bank.  She realized she was bored in her job.  She asked God to help her to get into a type of work she would enjoy.

This was in the days when computers were just starting to be used in business.

The department Pam worked in had been given two computers.  Her manager asked Pam if she could take a look at these computers and see how they might be used.  (Pam knew nothing about computers at that time.)

Pam was willing to try.  She asked if she might take computer courses at the local college.  That was approved and Pam selected a course named, "Basic."

It turned out this was a course in basic code writing for computer.

Pam loved it.  She left the first night of class, saying to God, "This is IT".

God opened doors for Pam to get a job in computer programming and she ended up working for Fed Ex as a computer programmer.

She was paid a very large salary without trying to get a large salary.  She just followed her interest.

Had Pam set out to get a job that paid a big salary, she would have been following after money.  Had she said, "I'm going to study to be a computer programmer for it pays a lot of money," she would have been going in a wrong way.

But to follow a type of work that interested her is the right way to go.

This is the way of God.

Some people go into types of jobs they do not even like just because those jobs offer more money.

They follow after money ... rather than following after God.

And by doing such they bring much trouble upon themselves.

There is another way for us to live.

I Timothy 6:6-12    godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

*****

Certainly God can lead you into a type of work you can enjoy and HE can prosper you when you follow scripture brought to your mind by Holy Spirit.

Our focus is on verses of scripture ... thinking on them and trying to do them in our lives.

When we do this, following scripture instead of money, the following will happen to us.

Psalms 1:1-3

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

What scripture burns through you today?

That is the focal point for you at this time.  Let it lead you.

***

The scriptures that burn through me at this time are the following:

Matthew 28:20   Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

Hebrews 3:13   But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 10:25   exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Every morning, I get my coffee and muffin and sit down to share with you those things commanded to me by God ... and those things put in my heart by God.

I follow the above scriptures for they lead me in that which I am to do.

I am strengthened and encouraged by these scripture and therefore I can be continually diligent to share with you that give me by God through His Spirit.

And I delight in doing this.  It is not a burden and it is easy for me to do.

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Matthew 11:30   For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

It might be God's will for you to do a project ... now you need to know how to do that project.

Be sure you have both God's will (approval) ... and God's way to do the project.

Example:

I know God has given me a spiritual gift of exhortation for the church and I greatly desire to share with the church  ... I know God's will for me.

If I tried to do this by travelling about from church to church and nation to nation, I would destroy myself physically and financially.

God has made it possible for me to exhort the church daily on Internet while staying at my own home.

So I have both the will of God and the way of God.

It is easy and a joy to do.

Pastors from around the world often ask me to send them my books for their congregations to use and study.  But that is a hard yoke.  I do not do that.  Everything I write is free and published on our daily blog:  Jesus Ministries Exhortataions.

Also Internet is the way God showed me to go.  (Dream:  March, 2012)

If an individual wants to purchase a book, he can go to Amazon and have one shipped to him.  Amazon is equipped to deal with overseas shipping and customs.  (We are not.)

And we are not given any paperback books by the publisher.  We have to purchase our own books from Amazon.

Amazon gives us a way to distribute our books through them all over the world, but the church person needs to make these arrangements through Amazon for himself.

Or the church person can obtain what I write for free from our Internet blog:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations

God's yoke is easy:  He showed us to set up a blog and use Internet

Man's yoke is hard:

*****

So follow the scripture given you by the Holy Spirit ... think on that scripture day and night ... do that scripture as God shows you how to do that scripture ... continue in that scripture.

This is righteousness ... and to do this leads you to prosperity and good success.

The first coming of Jesus vs. the second coming of Jesus

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When Jesus came to the earth in the form of man, HE came to save men and to deliver men from sin.

The next coming of Jesus will not be for the sinners but for the righteous, to gather the righteous to Himself.

Therefore, we work to bring the church to righteousness.  To prepare a people and make a people ready for God.

Many say, "Jesus is Lord", and they attend their churches.

But only when we have the Spirit of God in us and follow those things shown us by the Spirit of God, are we of God.

Following God by HIS Spirit is explained in the following example:

Numerous men have identified themselves to me as being pastors.  They often ask me to come speak to their church groups and teach their ministers (at my own expense).  Frequently they will use the following scripture to try to persuade me to make this trip.

Acts 16:9-10   And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.  And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

The men who use this scripture to try to get me to come to them, misuse the scripture, for God gave a vision to Paul and Paul acted by that vision.

These men are trying to lead me but I have no vision from God to make this trip to them.

On the contrary God has shown me to stay at home, write exhortations on our blog which goes all over the world exhorting the church.

I follow God by HIS Spirit as I stay at home and exhort the church on the blog which God had me set up by giving me a dream in 2012 which showed me to set up this blog to exhort the church.

I go all over the world daily through this blog.  And on this blog, I share with the church those things God has taught me by HIS Spirit.  This is the assignment to me from God, the heavenly calling.

These men who say they are pastors, do evil by trying to get me to leave the assignment given me by God.  In reality these men do the work of the devil who would destroy me if possible.

But I know my assignment on this earth.  God has made that clear to me in a way I can understand.  And I work to do that assignment daily, preparing the church for the return of Jesus when HE will gather the righteous to HIMSELF.

There will be no more repentance from dead works or works of the flesh when Jesus returns for the church for then will come the wrath of God and judgment upon the disobedient.

Instruction in Righteousness: From Matthew 12

1-8    At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and His disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

But He said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

*****

9-21    And when He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue:  And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered.

And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse Him.

And He said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

How much then is a man better than a sheep?

Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Then saith He to the man, Stretch forth thine hand.

And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against Him, how they might destroy Him.

But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all;

And charged them that they should not make Him known:  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and He shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory.  And in His name shall the Gentiles trust.

*****

22-37    Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

He that is not with Me is against me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

38-45    Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

46-50    While He yet talked to the people, behold, His mother and His brethren stood without, desiring to speak with Him.

Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

But He answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

And He stretched forth His hand toward His disciples, and said, Behold My mother and My brethren!

For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.

John, Chapter 6

Jesus says ... I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.  John 6:35

*****

Believing on Jesus, is believing "THE WORD"...

THE WORD is life ...

John 6:28-29 ...  Then said they unto HIM, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on HIM whom HE (GOD) hath sent.

*****

The Word comes to us today by The Holy Spirit bringing The Word to our minds ... By God putting THE Word directly into our hearts ... By preaching of the Word ... By the Bible ... through godly exhortations.

When we "believe" that Word spoken by God, we are changed after believing.  God gives us HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.  We are then a "new creature".

II Cor. 5:17 ... Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

*****

Jesus Christ has taken away our sins when we believe on Him, on THE WORD.

Jesus, THE WORD, is the "bread of life."

John 6 ... Jesus says ...

33  For the bread of God is HE (THE WORD) which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

...  35  And Jesus said unto them, I (THE WORD) am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.

... 41-42  The Jews then murmured at HIM, because HE said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.  And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that HE saith, I came down from heaven?

...  47-48  Verily, verily, I (Jesus, THE WORD) say unto you, He that believeth on ME hath everlasting life.  I (THE WORD) am that bread of life.

...  51  I (THE WORD) am THE LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

...  53-55  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you.  Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56  He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him.

57-58  As the LIVING Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME.  This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

*****

We eat Jesus' flesh and drink Jesus' blood as we partake of THE WORD OF GOD.

The Word of God is the Lord's supper.

I Cor. 11:23-32 ...  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which HE was betrayed took bread: And when HE had given thanks, HE brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is MY body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of ME. After the same manner also HE took the cup, when HE had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in MY blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of ME.  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till HE come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord (THE WORD), unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (Examining himself by the Word of God.)

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

For if we would judge ourselves (by the Word of God), we should not be judged.  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

*****

The Lord's supper (the communion) is not crackers and grape juice as many church groups today think.

The Lord's supper is partaking of THE WORD OF GOD.  It is the Word of God that changes us and nourishes us and guides us as we live on this present earth.  The WORD of God is the Son of God, Jesus Christ.  Communion with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit has to do with our partaking of the Word of God and doing as instructed by the Word, making ourselves one with THE WORD.

John 1:1-4 ...  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.

...  14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

You can put scriptures into an email to yourself so when you open your email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give you more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

We cannot serve God and mammon

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Matthew 6:24-25   No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.

2 masters ... If we are in debt, we will be a servant to that debt.  Therefore we work to be free from debt, that our master in all things can be God.

If you are in debt, the first step would be to pray, asking God to show you how to get out of debt.

Pay special attention to any scripture brought to your mind or attention while you read the Bible.

Meditate on that scripture day and night and do that instruction as best you can and keep doing that scripture.  Learn to live in that scripture which is shown you by the Holy Spirit.  Then when God gives you another scripture, do that scripture while continuing in the first scripture given unto you.

Walk in God by HIS Spirit.

This is the beginning of everything for us.

*****

Think of following the scripture as a walk way through a wilderness.

These verses (or partial verses) are the stepping stones.  Learn to walk carefully from one stepping stone to another.

*****

In my life, God has given me the following stepping stones to show me what I am to do.

Hebrews 3:13    exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 10:25   exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I've been walking on these instructions for years and they encourage me and keep me going in the way God wants me to go.

Recently, I was given an additional "stepping stone".

I was reading in Matthew and part of a verse burned through me.  I stopped and thought on this and added it to the above scriptures as my way of life on this earth.

Jesus said ...

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: Matthew 28:20

As I walk in these three scriptures which were called to my attention by the Spirit of God, I know exactly what God wants me to do on this earth.

And I am given strength and courage and motivation to exhort the church through these writings as I consider the instruction in these scripture.

That is how I keep myself going, doing the work to which I am assigned.

If you belong to God, the Holy Spirit in you will lead you exactly as HE leads me, step by step, bringing scripture to your mind.

As you focus on that scripture given you, and keeping it, your path is solid.

Just keep doing that one verse, or partial verse.  It may be your instruction for many months or even years.

It is your rock upon which to build your life.

*****

Matthew 7:24-27   Jesus says

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Instruction in Righteousness: From Matthew 11

1-6    And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples, He departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,  And said unto Him, Art thou He that should come, or do we look for another?

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:   The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me.

*****

7-15    And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?   But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

But what went ye out for to see?

A prophet?

yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send My messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

*****

16-19    But whereunto shall I liken this generation?

It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,  And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

(Always reacting in an inappropriate way.)

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

*****

20-24    Then began He to upbraid the cities wherein most of His mighty works were done, because they repented not:

(Seeing His works, should have caused them to repent.)

Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

*****

25-27    At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight.

All things are delivered unto Me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him.

*****

28-30    Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
