In the 1980's, I had a dream where the earth slipped on it's axis. People were terrified. The politicians were meeting with the scientists and with the religious leaders to see what to try to do.
(Of course nothing can be done for this defies man and shows man he is not in control.)
One of the most graphic parts of this dream concerned a TV newsman who was trying to tell the story on TV news, of what was happening. He was so frightened he couldn't finish the news telecast and he just stopped speaking. He knew it affected him and not just people on the other side of the camera.

The solar system was created by God HIMSELF and is kept in place by God.
II Peter 3:3-7 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But the point comes when the day of the Lord comes.
Jesus explains:
Luke 21:25-36 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

After Jesus returns and gathers the church, the full wrath of God will come upon this earth.
There are many who say they are Christians and say they believe in Jesus, but they cast aside portions of scripture and do not know by doing such they become antichrist, against Christ.
They are ungodly men though they say "Jesus is Lord" and they attend a church group. Many of these ungodly men are the pastors who lead the group and assure the church that the new doctrines are inspired by God, while they eliminate instructions of the Bible.
The wrath of God comes upon "ungodly men."
I do not believe ungodly men in churches will be removed before the full wrath of God comes upon the earth, for the wrath of God comes because of the ungodly men, because of those who cast aside the Word of God.

Therefore the ungodly will go through the great tribulation where the wrath of God is poured out upon this world before the final destruction of this present earth by God.

The wrath of God that is coming upon the entire world is described for us beginning with Revelation 8.
1-8 And when HE had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

The wrath of God is sent upon the earth in parts ... one thing happens, then another, then another with a time space between the wraths and subsequent results.
When the change comes in the amount of sun and the increase of darkness upon the earth, expect to see a vast change in growing seasons, resulting in loss of crops which will cause food problems upon the whole earth. Thus famines and pestilences upon humans and animals on this earth.
When that great mountain, burning with fire, is cast into the sea and death results, we can easily think of what we have already seen from volcanos. The ash and fire of lava causes great destruction. Scientists today report the ash is filled with tiny shreds of glass which causes a shredding of a man's lungs and death. (American Experience: PBS TV ... Yellowstone and the great volcano)
When Mount St. Helens erupted in USA in 1980, scientists learned many things about the destruction. They estimate far greater eruptions under the ground of Yellowstone National Park and they expect a great eruption. This is certainly a visible and tangible object which we can imagine based on that which we read in the book of Revelation. The great tribulation will have great earthquakes which torment men who continue to live on this earth.
The things will get so bad that men will seek death and will not be able to find death.
We know the scriptures which tell us the great men and small men both hide themselves in caves of the earth and ask for the earth to fall on them and hide them from the wrath of God.
Men cast their silver and gold into the streets because they know it is worthless now to them.
One plague is a type of insect which has a sting like a scorpion and is appointed to torment men who have the mark of the beast for five months.
There are appointed times and length of times for the various wraths sent by God upon the earth.

The prophets of the Old Testament spoke of this wrath of God.
Amos 5:18-20 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

For those who are still alive on this earth when the great tribulation begins, the significant point marking the great tribulation and the return of Jesus is Joel 2:31.

There are many phases to the coming wrath of God. It could go on for decades.

(Church people will fall away from scripture and set up another doctrine in the church. They fall away from the doctrine of Christ, the doctrine of the Bible.)

Matthew 24:29-32 Jesus says: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Where do we who hold fast the Word of God and refuse to compromise the Word fit?

I have no doubt at some point we will be taken out.
There are many phases to the coming wrath of God. It could go on for decades.
The key for the beginning should be the powers of heaven shaken where the earth slips on it's axis and the sun goes dark and the moon refuses to shine and the stars fall from heaven.
You will not need TV news to tell you it is happening if you are still on the earth. All people of the entire earth will know this is happening for it will affect all on this earth.
