Jesus says: Be it unto you according to your faith

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Matthew 9

2-7    And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith HE to him  sick of the palsy take up thy bed, and go into thine house.)

And he arose, and departed to his house.

***

18   While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay Thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

In his heart, this man had seen this before he made the trip to ask this of Jesus.  Prayer is like this for us.  In our heart, we believe before we pray that God can do this for us and when we pray according to the will of God we know HE will hear us when we ask HIM and if God hears us we have that which we ask of HIM.

I John 5:14-15   And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, HE heareth us:  And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

***

20-22   And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him and touched the hem of His garment:

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

(This woman had seen this in her heart before she came to Jesus.)

But Jesus turned him about, and when HE saw her, HE said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

***

27-29    And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

And when HE was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?

They said unto Him, Yea, Lord.

Then touched HE their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

***

Before we pray, we must believe God can do this thing we ask, otherwise why pray?

Hebrews 11:6   But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that HE is, and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
