The message for today: The apostasy is happening right now in the churches today... our commission from God is to cling to the truth of the scriptures and to live in peace, without spot and blameless!

At the end times, Paul said: 

II Timothy 3: 13-17    But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned themAnd that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Before Jesus returns, Paul said there would be a falling away.



Churches would fall away from scripture.

II Thessalonians 2  KJV

It was not people falling away from churches.

It was churches falling away from scripture and setting up other doctrines contrary to scripture.

II Thessalonians 2:3-4    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(The falling away from scripture causes the man of sin to be revealed, that "he" is operating in that church group.)

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The falling away would happen in the churches ... not in the world.

It is pernicious:  eating away one portion of scripture ... than another ... then another ... than another.

Bit by bit, one doctrine goes after another... gradually like a cancer ...

Hair length?  who cares?   What difference does hair length make?  (I Corinthians 11)

So churches learn to accept long hair men... and women who wear their hair cut like men.

I Corinthians 11:1-16    Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.  Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

(Paul is speaking here of the length of a man's hair ... keep reading and you will see.)

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

(So some religious groups make their women wear hats to church ... but the covering for a woman according to Bible is the length of her hair... keep reading ...)

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Several years ago, when I played bridge, I was so shocked when I met a woman who wore her hair cut exactly like a man's hair and I then discovered this woman was the wife of a Church of Christ minister!

The churches begin thinking  ... Why shouldn't a man marry a woman who is divorced?

"God wants them to be happy..."

Matthew 5:32    ... whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Then they think ... Of course a woman can divorce and remarry.

"God wants her to be happy ..."

I Corinthians 7:10-11    And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

The falling away from scripture ... bit by bit ... the scripture that was once upheld in the congregation is now changed ... or it is just not mentioned at all ...

Galatians 1:6-9    I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospelWhich is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

II Thessalonians 2:10-12  ...  because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The mark of the beast ... the number of a man ... the approval of man. 

The churches today want the world to approve them so they eliminate many scriptures which offend the world and preach "another doctrine" to look good in the eyes of the world.

We will not be able to change these churches.

II Thessalonians 2:10-12    And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Their delusion is from God ... We can't change it.

What are we to do?

The apostle Peter tells us what to do ...

II Peter 3:13-14     Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Peter tells us the righteousness we so desire will be in "the new heavens and new earth".  This present earth will never be righteous for it is governed by the flesh of man, the thinking of man.  Now the apostasy in the church rules by the same thinking of man, eliminating specific scriptures. 

The flesh cannot be righteous. 

The flesh does the following:

Galatians 5: 19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 

The apostle Peter tells us we look for "new heavens and new earth" wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Paul tells us the churches in the last days will have a "form of godliness" but they will deny the power of the scriptures to rule over them ...  yet they will be "ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."  II Timothy 3

Paul says, "From such turn away."  II Timothy 3:5

Just walk away from them and live in the peace of the knowledge that there will be new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness...


Leave them alone.

We don't have to be angry or fret for we can see by the scripture that the apostasy had to come and the delusion of the churches of apostasy is a strong delusion "from God" .... How can you change this delusion when it is from God?  You can't!

We live in peace by avoiding them and their doctrine and by keeping ourselves "without spot and blameless."

One thing we will find happening in this time is a type of reconciliation yet without association.

This allows us to live here on this earth "without spot and blameless".

Here are examples:

Several years ago, a woman became very angry with me.  I tried to apologize but she hung up phone and would have nothing to do with me.  Seven or eight years passed.  She lives across street from me.  I met her at local grocery one day and she would not speak.  I kept praying and when I saw her at her mail box, I went to her and began speaking.  This time she stopped and didn't turn away.  We had a type of reconciliation.  Now when I see her I can openly wave to her with good in my own heart.  During the years of separation I could not do that.  Now I am without spot and blameless toward her.

This puts me in the position of being found in peace by Jesus when HE returns for the church.

Pam Padgett reported a very similar thing.  One of her neighbors became angry with Pam.  It was very hard on Pam.  This went on for a few years.  Then it all worked out to a type of reconciliation which allows Pam to live in peace, without spot and blameless.  (But she and this neighbor are not going to be friends who go out to lunch and visit.)

Here is that "new" heaven and "new" earth where there will be righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5     And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

* Instruction in Righteousness: John 19


Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged Him.

And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe,
And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote Him with their hands.

Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring Him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in Him.

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe.

And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

When the chief priests therefore and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him.

Pilate saith unto them, Take ye Him, and crucify Him: for I find no fault in Him.

The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou?

But Jesus gave him no answer.

10 Then saith Pilate unto Him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against Me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered Me unto thee hath the greater sin.

(To do something that would cause another to be hurt by delivering him to the power to cause hurt is the greater sin.  Therefore the men who brought Jesus to Pilate have sin greater than then sin of Pilate.)

12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release Him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

15 But they cried out, Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him.

Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King?

The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

16 Then delivered he Him therefore unto them to be crucified.

And they took Jesus, and led Him away.

17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

18 Where they crucified Him, and two other with Him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.

20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also His coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted My raiment among them, and for My vesture they did cast lots.

These things therefore the soldiers did.

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, Woman, behold thy son!

27 Then saith He to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.

31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with Him.
33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was dead already, they brake not His legs:

34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of Him shall not be broken.

37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on Him whom they pierced.

38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.

42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

Preparing yourself for the return of Jesus


During all the years since being born again, our goal should have been to keep the word of God... to find out what the Bible says and to do that and to cling to that Word regardless of opposition coming to us, even opposition by our own pastors.

Between now and the return of Jesus, this should certainly be our goal.

As we read the Bible, we examine ourselves and our doctrine, conforming ourselves to the Word in the New Testament by faith and by the Spirit of God that is in us.

Thus the apostle Paul says:

Romans 12:1-2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jesus said:

John 14:23-24    If a man love ME, he will keep MY words: and my Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth ME not keepeth not MY sayings:

I Corinthians 6:9-10    Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

(We did these things before we were born again but after we were born again and forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, if we return to our sins and do these things it is a very serious matter, after we come to the knowledge of God.)

Hebrews 10:26-31    For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

We must not live by the standard of today's world,
committing fornication at will, divorcing and remarrying at will, approving homosexuals and lesbians, living in drunkenness, hating, exalting oneself.

Thus Paul said "be not conformed to this world."

If this world becomes our standard, we put ourselves in the position to be judged with this world in the wrath that is coming from God because of the sins of this world.

While there is still time, conform yourselves to the Word of God.  Support the sayings of Jesus in the New Testament.  Align yourselves to the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures.

Knowing this:

II Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Jesus says:


Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  Revelation 3:10

It is coming ... it is upon us ...

Can't you see?  The apostasy, the falling away from scripture, is in full force in the churches.  This is the primary point setting the wrath of God that is to come upon the world.

Antichrist is not one man but is a spirit in the church groups, like the devil is a spirit and not just one man. 

Antichrist would come through the church groups.  "Sitting in the temple of God, showing himself that he is god."  II Thessalonians 2

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Antichrist takes people in the church in a way opposite from the way of God in the specific issues of this life.

The scriptures take people in the way of God.

People make choices as to which way they will go.

The love of the truth of the scripture above all other things is critical.

This is the point of departure between Christ and antichrist.

The approval of man is the mark of the beast.

Those who give up all to cling to the WORD of God will be spared that wrath of God that is coming upon all the world.


But the wrath of God will come upon those person who have cast aside parts of scripture to approve other people or to approve themselves.  These person live in a strong delusion from God that they would continue to believe a lie.

II Thessalonians 2:10-12    And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Since the delusion is from God, there is nothing you will be able to do now to turn those who worship their church and cast aside the scriptures. 

But you must hold onto the truth of the scriptures.

Here is the way God showed this to me: 

Dream:  1979

A meeting was going on.  A man was speaking to a group of people.  I went into the room where this man was speaking and sat down and began to listen to what he was saying.

A second man came in and said:

"STOP ... can't you see ... it's too late ... it's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense type warning speaker on top of the pole.  Out of the speaker was coming a poisonous gas!  I knew it would kill the people.  And it was coming directly toward us.

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there to warn us was being used to kill us.

I looked at the man who was sitting next to me.  He was upright in his chair and he was looking directly at the man who was speaking and he had a very big smile on his face, but he was a corpse.  He was already dead.

I looked about the room at the other people and they were dead too.

And as I sat there listening to the man who was speaking to the room of dead people, I felt myself beginning to drift off to sleep and I knew it was killing me too as I sat there listening to this man.

It is amazing to think we can live in peace knowing of this, but since we know the truth of the scriptures and God has revealed to us the apostasy in the church which must happen before Jesus returns, we can live in peace.

It was ordained by God to happen this way therefore we can rest knowing this.

II Thessalonians 2  NASB ... Paul says ... Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the Day of  the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

By this God explains to us that the apostasy in the church had to come before Jesus returns.

In the KJV it reads as follows:

II Thessalonians 2:3-4  KJV ... Paul says ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The "falling away" were churches falling away from portions of scripture in order to approve people thus gaining the approval also of the world.

The man of sin that would be revealed in this falling away is a spirit of antichrist in the churches for they would "oppose" certain instructions given to the church in New Testament in the Bible.

Thus the man of lawlessness in the church would sit in the "temple of God" showing himself to be god as he ruled over the portions of scripture, casting scripture aside to go along with his own thinking and the thinking of other humans who have not the Spirit of God.

This is the apostasy we are seeing in today's churches.  This is antichrist in the churches today.

This had to come before Jesus returns as Paul said in Bible.

When we understand there is nothing we can do to stop this in the church, for it is ordained by God, we can live in peace and stop striving to try to turn them for they cannot be turned now.

Rejoice that you chose to cling to scripture.

Do what Paul said and avoid them and live in peace knowing the truth.

II Timothy 3:5   Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.


By turning away from them we can live in peace.

Also God showed me we can never cause the churches nor this world to be righteous.

Here is what God says about it:

II Thessalonians 2:10-13    KJV ...  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

The writings in this blog are to encourage those persons who have believed the truth and who cling to the scriptures.

Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus saith unto them, I am He.

And Judas also, which betrayed Him, stood with them.

As soon then as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Then asked He them again, Whom seek ye?

And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am He: if therefore ye seek Me, let these go their way:

That the saying might be fulfilled, which He spake, Of them which thou gavest Me have I lost none.

10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?

12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound Him,
13 And led Him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
19 The high priest then asked Jesus of His disciples, and of His doctrine.

20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

21 Why askest thou Me? ask them which heard Me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

22 And when He had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou Me?

24 Now Annas had sent Him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of His disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with Him?

27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

(They delivered Jesus to be judged and killed, but they would not go into the judgment hall for to do so would cause them to be defiled.)

29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?

30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.

31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye Him, and judge Him according to your law.

The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:

32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which He spake, signifying what death He should die.

33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto Him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of Me?

35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

37 Pilate therefore said unto Him, Art thou a king then?

Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king.

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice.

38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?

And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in Him no fault at all.
39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

What this means:  He that is born of God sinneth not


I John 5:18    We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I believe this means if we are "born of God" in the matter at hand, having heard from the Spirit of God, we do not sin for we keep ourselves by doing that Word of God which we have heard from God.

God knows how to save us to the end

The apostle Paul said:  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.  Acts 20:32

We are kept by faith in that which God says ... and we endure to the end by holding fast to the WORD of God.

The trials and persecutions of the early church were very different than those trials and persecution of today ... we are at opposite ends of a pole.  They were persecuted by the Jews because of Christ ... we are persecuted from the churches who have cast aside scripture, casting aside Jesus.

Our problem comes when we speak Jesus, THE WORD, to the church.

For example:  Telling the church that the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery will be extremely foreign to the ears of that church group.  If you say such, they will often speak evil of you, though they may not harm you bodily today.  Nevertheless it is hard to endure today because of the rampant disregard of specific scripture in the church group  and the approval of various sins inside the church group.

As they were cast out of the synagogue for speaking Jesus ... we, today, are cast out of the church group for speaking specific parts of scripture, THE WORD, Jesus.

We are at this following period of time.

II Timothy 3:1-5   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

... 7    Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

...  13    But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.


14-17    But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Are you disturbed by the doctrine of your church group?  Does that doctrine fail to conform to Bible?

What can you do?

It cannot be corrected for it is the end-time apostasy in the church as spoken by the apostle Paul.

II Thessalonians 2   (NASB)     Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the LORD) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

(This was all going to happen, and is happening today, in the church.  They sit down in the church and cast aside portions of scripture, making themselves gods.)

Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things. 

And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

(That which restrained antichrist from the church group was the scripture.  When scripture was removed in portions and explained away, antichrist moved into that church group.)

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

(Even in Paul's day antichrist was trying to get into the church to set up his doctrine which is opposite from that which Christ spoke.  Paul said he knew after he departed "perverse men" would take over in the church.  Acts 20)

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

(They didn't love the truth above the lie so they went along with the perversion spoken by men in the church group.  They loved the church itself more than they loved the scripture.  It is just like the Jews who loved the synagogue more than they loved Jesus Christ and they tried to keep HIM quiet so they could continue in the synagogue.)

KJV   11-12   And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They can't be turned ... their delusions is from God ... they will continue in their perversion of scripture inside their church groups.

All you can do is to come out.

Paul told us this in II Timothy 3 when he described them.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They have taken on the mark of the beast, the thinking of men, when they cast aside portions of scripture in the church group.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: those that Thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to Thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth.

18 As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me.

22 And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.
