The message for today: The apostasy is happening right now in the churches today... our commission from God is to cling to the truth of the scriptures and to live in peace, without spot and blameless!

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

At the end times, Paul said:

II Timothy 3: 13-17    But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned themAnd that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Before Jesus returns, Paul said there would be a falling away.

Churches would fall away from scripture.

II Thessalonians 2  KJV

It was not people falling away from churches.

It was churches falling away from scripture and setting up other doctrines contrary to scripture.

*****

II Thessalonians 2:3-4    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(The falling away from scripture causes the man of sin to be revealed, that "he" is operating in that church group.)

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

*****

The falling away would happen in the churches ... not in the world.

It is pernicious:  eating away one portion of scripture ... than another ... then another ... than another.

Bit by bit, one doctrine goes after another... gradually like a cancer ...

Hair length?  who cares?   What difference does hair length make?  (I Corinthians 11)

So churches learn to accept long hair men... and women who wear their hair cut like men.

*****

I Corinthians 11:1-16    Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.  Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

(Paul is speaking here of the length of a man's hair ... keep reading and you will see.)

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

(So some religious groups make their women wear hats to church ... but the covering for a woman according to Bible is the length of her hair... keep reading ...)

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Several years ago, when I played bridge, I was so shocked when I met a woman who wore her hair cut exactly like a man's hair and I then discovered this woman was the wife of a Church of Christ minister!

*****

The churches begin thinking  ... Why shouldn't a man marry a woman who is divorced?

"God wants them to be happy..."

Matthew 5:32    ... whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

*****

Then they think ... Of course a woman can divorce and remarry.

"God wants her to be happy ..."

I Corinthians 7:10-11    And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

*****

The falling away from scripture ... bit by bit ... the scripture that was once upheld in the congregation is now changed ... or it is just not mentioned at all ...

*****

Galatians 1:6-9    I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospelWhich is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

*****

II Thessalonians 2:10-12  ...  because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

*****

The mark of the beast ... the number of a man ... the approval of man.

The churches today want the world to approve them so they eliminate many scriptures which offend the world and preach "another doctrine" to look good in the eyes of the world.

We will not be able to change these churches.

II Thessalonians 2:10-12    And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Their delusion is from God ... We can't change it.

What are we to do?

The apostle Peter tells us what to do ...

II Peter 3:13-14     Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Peter tells us the righteousness we so desire will be in "the new heavens and new earth".  This present earth will never be righteous for it is governed by the flesh of man, the thinking of man.  Now the apostasy in the church rules by the same thinking of man, eliminating specific scriptures.

The flesh cannot be righteous.

The flesh does the following:

Galatians 5: 19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The apostle Peter tells us we look for "new heavens and new earth" wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Paul tells us the churches in the last days will have a "form of godliness" but they will deny the power of the scriptures to rule over them ...  yet they will be "ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."  II Timothy 3

Paul says, "From such turn away."  II Timothy 3:5

Just walk away from them and live in the peace of the knowledge that there will be new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness...

Leave them alone.

We don't have to be angry or fret for we can see by the scripture that the apostasy had to come and the delusion of the churches of apostasy is a strong delusion "from God" .... How can you change this delusion when it is from God?  You can't!

We live in peace by avoiding them and their doctrine and by keeping ourselves "without spot and blameless."

One thing we will find happening in this time is a type of reconciliation yet without association.

This allows us to live here on this earth "without spot and blameless".

Here are examples:

Several years ago, a woman became very angry with me.  I tried to apologize but she hung up phone and would have nothing to do with me.  Seven or eight years passed.  She lives across street from me.  I met her at local grocery one day and she would not speak.  I kept praying and when I saw her at her mail box, I went to her and began speaking.  This time she stopped and didn't turn away.  We had a type of reconciliation.  Now when I see her I can openly wave to her with good in my own heart.  During the years of separation I could not do that.  Now I am without spot and blameless toward her.

This puts me in the position of being found in peace by Jesus when HE returns for the church.

Pam Padgett reported a very similar thing.  One of her neighbors became angry with Pam.  It was very hard on Pam.  This went on for a few years.  Then it all worked out to a type of reconciliation which allows Pam to live in peace, without spot and blameless.  (But she and this neighbor are not going to be friends who go out to lunch and visit.)

II Peter 3:13-14     Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Here is that "new" heaven and "new" earth where there will be righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5     And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
