πŸ’₯ Jesus says: Pray always that you may be accounted worthy to escape. What does that mean?

Luke 21  Jesus says:

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

(surfeiting: over indulgence)

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Prayer connects us to God.

As we pray we put our trust in God.

And this causes us to be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Therefore:  Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

When trouble surfaces, pray.

Pray daily when a concern comes to our mind.

Connect to God continually.

Live in peace through taking all our cares to God and putting our faith in God.  For we are God's children, the elect of God, the called of God.  HE is our Father and we belong to HIM and HE cares for us and we depend on HIM at all times.

Acts 17:28   For in HIM we live, and move, and have our being;
