Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus says: Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
If Jesus comes "this hour" will Jesus find you in peace, without spot, and blameless ... as Peter told us to live? (II Peter 3:14)
Or will Jesus find us with unforgiveness and bitterness and other sins?
Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Even if we are the elect of God, the chosen of God, we still have to contend with our flesh and devil.
We still have to diligent guard that which goes into our hearts.
If we are striving with another person at the second Jesus returns what will happen to us?
Aren't we warned many times in Bible to watch what we do and keep ourselves in the love of God?
***
And we do not know the hour or the minute Jesus returns.
How will Jesus find us then? what condition?
So we must continually keep ourselves free from bitterness, unforgiveness, and free from other sins.
(I have had multiple times when I tried to make peace with another person only to find that person refusing to make peace with me. In such cases, we can still forgive them even when they will not forgive us. We can still pray for them and even plead with God on their behalf as Moses pleaded with God for the lives of the children of Israel in Numbers 14.)

In this context, consider these scriptures:
*Matthew 24:11-12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
*Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
*Matthew 24:24 (During the period of the great tribulation) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
*Matthew 24:36-39 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
*Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
(We must keep ourselves READY continually ... living without hypocrisy, bitterness, forgiving others, abstaining from other sins. For when Jesus returns, HE comes for a glorious church, without spot and without blemish. Certainly the blood of Christ cleanses us of all sins, but do we think we can live in sin? Can we live opposite to Bible?)

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
We must stay "ready", keeping ourselves free from bitterness, unforgiveness, and other sins. Lest we be left behind on this earth to go through the great tribulation.
The church that is ready will be taken up to meet Jesus in the air. The church that is not ready will be left behind and go through the wrath of God, for they made themselves fit for the wrath of God by their choices. Some of the elect will be here for the wrath of God because we see by scripture that if those days of the great tribulation were not shortened, even the elect would not be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.
Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
(Can't we see how verses 21-22 are linked together?)

Revelation 2:21-23 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Matthew 24:45-51 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Some of the elect will be on this earth during the great tribulation. We see that in Matthew 24:21-22.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (overindulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(It is by "watching" what we do ... and "praying always over all things" ... that we connect to God and make ourselves worthy to escape the wrath of God and the great tribulation that is appointed to come upon this earth before this present earth is destroyed along with the heavens.)
***
Destruction of this present heaven and earth is shown by the apostle Peter as follows:
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

I John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with HIM, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
