* Jesus comes to take the church off this earth.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I Thessalonians 4:13-17   But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
(go before) them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

***

All who are ready, will rise to meet Jesus "in the air."

(If we live in bitterness and unforgiveness at the time Jesus returns, we will not be ready.  Therefore we are warned multiple times in the NT to "be ready" for we know not the hour Jesu comes.)

This current heaven and earth will be destroyed by God and will no longer exist after the great tribulation, the wrath of God, is loosed upon the unbelievers.  Revelation 8-16

The church that has risen from death and the church that has been taken up to meet Jesus and those previously dead in the clouds will be taken to "the new Jerusalem" which has been prepared by God.

The apostle John described this as follows:

Revelation 21:1-5   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

***

I Peter 3:10-14    But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him
in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(But what if you are striving with another or have unresolved strife or unforgiveness in your heart when Jesus returns for the church ... will you be taken up from the earth with the believers if this is the case in your heart, even if you are the elect of God?)

***

Matthew 24   21-22  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days (the days of the great tribulation) should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

(What if you are not ready?  You will not be ready if you have in your heart strife and unforgiveness. You might end up as the elect of God going through the great tribulation.  So Jesus says, "Be ready.")

Peter warned us in II Peter 3:14 ... be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

***

I believe the church that is ready will be taken out by Jesus before the great tribulation.

But the church that is not ready due to unforgiveness and other sins will be left on the earth to go through the wrath of God even if that part of the church is the elect of God at the time they live in unforgiveness and other sins.

Jesus says:

Luke 21:34-36    And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(Watch yourself.  Keep yourself by doing the word of God.  Be ready at the time Jesus returns for the church.)
