Glory in tribulations? How?

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

June 24, 2019, I had a shock!

I went to dentist for simple tooth cleaning, and x-rays showed decay under a crown and bone loss and problems.  Dentist recommended first deep-cleaning for all teeth and removing the crown to take care of decayed tooth and new crown.  Since I can only endure a limited amount of time in dental chair due to my left hip and leg problem, it will take 4 sessions to do this work.

I came away in shock!

I prayed but heard nothing and continued for most of two days in shock over this unexpected problem for I had no pain at all warning me that there was a problem.  Though many years ago, I did have a dream where there was a decay under a crown on one tooth and they had to remove that crown and work on the tooth.  That dream was in approximately 1985.  Nothing showed up on x-rays until 2019.

On the morning of June, 26, I heard from the Holy Spirit this concept:

Rejoice in tribulation for by such problems we see we cannot trust in this flesh.

I knew there were scriptures concerning tribulations.  I looked this up in Bible, and the scripture I think fits this concept from Holy Spirit concerning tooth problem is the following.

Romans 3:1-6   Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

In physical ways, we go along never suspecting anything can or will happen to our body and then when it does happen we are thrown into a state of shock ... then we realize in this problem we "glory" for we know our faith in not in this human body which is corruptible due to disease and such.

Then our mind is once again focused on God who brings us through or sustains us even in this physical collapse!

This same morning, June 26, I awoke thinking of Jim, a former Marine (88-years old), who has spent the last 4 months in a diaper, being unable to even be lifted out of hospital bed due to the extreme pain that results.  Mostly in hospital they keep Jim drugged.  And he just lies there and has to be cleaned by nurses aides like a baby.

The only hope he has is in death.  (We don't know his spiritual condition but perhaps God will bring him to a good position before he dies which is all he can hope for at this time.)

To glory in such tribulations shows we do not trust in these human bodies but we have another hope and that is a hope for eternal life through God and Christ.

We are brought to glory in God ... and not in ourselves!

Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

And we believe in the resurrection through Christ according to the following scriptures:

I Thessalonians 4:13-18     But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
(precede/go ahead of) them which are asleep (dead).

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

("In the air" is very important information showing we will not be remaining on this present earth, for this present earth will be destroyed by the wrath of God according to II Peter 3:10-14.  We will be taken to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness ... which is created by God for the risen church. And we will all be given new "spiritual bodies" in which we will live, for this current body of flesh is subject to corruption, through disease, and it cannot inherit the kingdom of God, therefore we will be given new bodies, before being raised, according to the will of God, says the apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15.)

I Corinthians 15:35-38    But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?  Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased HIM, and to every seed his own body.

44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

49-52  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Revelation 21:1-5  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Romans 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

II Corinthians 4:16  though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
