Joan Boney … apostle/prophet
The apostle Peter, told us what we must do to be ready for the return of Jesus.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

If we have in our hearts strife, bitterness, unforgiveness … or other sins, we are not READY for Jesus' return.
In Bible, we are warned multiple times that we don't know when Jesus will return, the day or hour, so be ready!
I believe this means if Jesus returns on a day (or hour) when we are striving with others and have unforgiveness in our hearts against another person, we will not be taken up with those who are READY.
Therefore Peter explains: (II Peter 3:14)
* be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Scriptures:
* Matthew 24:44-51 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What if Jesus returns while we have unforgiveness and bitterness in our hearts?
We must deal in a scriptural way with all offences which come against us.
We must take the trespass against us to God at the time it happens to be safe!
We must trust God to deal with the offender and to deal with us, cleansing our hearts from all sin, making us ready again to be a people of God.
We must not ignore the offence, or try to ignore the offense. To do such is to risk damnation. It is a type of suicide.
We must learn to be ready for the return of Jesus from this second forward, every second of the day and night.
We keep ourselves ready through prayer, praying over each problem, trusting God to help us, connecting with God. We must not let anything slip, for to do so puts us in danger.
Perceived trespasses are like seeds which go into our own heart and grow until they bear fruit and that fruit they bear will be evil fruit. Therefore like the weeds that they are, they must be pulled up. And they are destroyed through God as we turn to God in prayer over that trespass, allowing God to rule over us.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We see by the following scripture that some of the elect will be in the great tribulation.
Matthew 24:20-21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Keep the scriptures in writing before you day and night to motivate you to forgive and to pray over all matters and to keep your heart clean in the sight of God.
Jesus says:
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (overindulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(Watch yourself! Don't allow anything to go unattended. Pray over those matters that affect you. Pray immediately over each situation. Don't allow anything to build up inside you. Also know that prayer connects us to God.)
