πŸ’₯ Truth that helps us live in peace as we wait for the return of Jesus

Barbara Preston, member of the body of Christ

Psalm 47:8  God reigneth over the heathen:

Sometimes we can look at what the people of the world are doing today and become discouraged because there is so much evil and it can seem like they are in total control.

A few years ago I ended up focusing too much on what was going on in the world by watching a lot of news programs and became very upset and, I think, even disheartened by many of the things I heard and saw.

It was affecting me greatly. Then another member of the Body of Christ heard and delivered a Word from God for me which was this ...

God has it all under control. Be not concerned.

I was reminded of this Word recently and find that it brings me peace as I think about it. I intend to focus on this truth daily until it is planted deep inside me. I know it will strengthen me in the midst of these dangerous times in which we live today.

I am reminded of ....

Ecclesiastes 5:8  If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for HE that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

I find that this scripture greatly helps me. The violent perverting of judgment and justice have really bothered me at times.  God sees all and is in control.

As I read and thought on what Barbara and Beth shared here, there was peace (as Barbara also mentioned).

It reminded me how important it is to be in peace as we await the return of Jesus. The scriptures and concepts shared here help us do this.

2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
