As we wait for the return of Jesus where HE take us off this
earth and takes us to the new heaven and the new earth, the apostle
Peter says to us the following concerning how we are to live as we wait
for Jesus.
II Peter 3:13-14
Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
We
cannot be involved in the schemes of this present world. We can't give
approval to political parties where much evil is being done and where
Bible is flaunted in hypocritical ways before our faces. We can't
protest in the streets. Our kingdom is not of this world. We are just
waiting on this earth for Jesus to return and remove us from this earth
and take us to the new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells.
This present earth will never be righteous regardless of what we might
try to do.
Righteousness is in the new heaven and the new earth which God has prepared for HIS people.
Romans 12:2 Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Pray for those in authority, but don't entangle yourself with them.
I Timothy 2:1-3
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

And Paul says:
II Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No
man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that
he may please HIM who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
As those chosen by God, follow God and serve God, doing the Word of God according to the New Testament Bible.
