Lacking faith to pray

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently I received the most amazing email from the founder of a Global International Prayer Ministry.

This man said he is sick and asked me to pray for him!  I laughed.  This struck me as funny.

He doesn't have faith in his own prayers nor in his prayer ministry!

It sort of reminded me of a church in Irving, Texas that built a prayer tower and the prayer tower leaked when it rained. Sort of told it all about that church.

Amazing.

I did not pray.  If this man doesn't have faith to pray, I'm not going to pray.  Jesus prayed for those who belong to God but not for the world.  Jn. 17

These preachers go out and set up worthless church works and cause people to trust in ministries by trying to get people to turn to them for prayer and they can't even pray for themselves in faith when trouble hits them.

It reminded me of Elijah dealing with the prophets of Baal ...

I Kings 18 ... And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.  22Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: 24And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.  25And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under. 26And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.    27And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.    28And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.  29And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.

Also all this reminds me of what God said in Proverbs 1 ...

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
