πŸ’₯ After we are born again, we know the works of this world are evil.

Jesus said:

John 7:7  The world cannot hate you; but ME it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Before we are born again, and changed by God, we cannot see the many evils of the world.

I Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But God changes us and gives us a new heart and a new Spirit then we can see what is good in the sight of God and we can no longer stand the evil of this world.

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

After we have God's heart and God's Spirit in us, we then know the works of the flesh of man are evil.

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

After we are of God, the world hates us as the world hates The Word of God, Jesus.

If we try to be "friends" of this world, we become enemies of God, supporting the ways of the world and thereby denying the ways of God.

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The apostle Paul was of the religious world of the scribes and Pharisees, until Jesus called him.

Acts 9

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord?

And the Lord said, I am Jesus WHOM thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Notice how Paul (Saul) was changed instantly after Jesus spoke to him!

Paul followed what Jesus "The Word" said to him.

And when Paul followed Jesus, "The Word", those scribes and Pharisees who once loved Saul, hated Saul, and the remainder of his life, they tried to kill him.

After we are born again, they see we no longer approve the evil they do.

But the apostasy church of the end times approves evil and changes doctrines to show approval to various acts of this present world.   The apostasy church will be destroyed by Jesus when HE comes to gather the righteous who cling to scripture.

II Thessalonians 2

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
