How do we eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood?
Jesus is The Word. Each time we hear The Word and do The Word, we eat HIS flesh and drink HIS blood.
The Word is the Holy Bible.
And The Word is That Word that is given to us directly from God by HIS Holy Spirit. HE speaks The Word to our mind to guide us into all truth in the issues pertaining to both this present life and the way of God.
Jesus said:
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
14 HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

"The Lord's supper" is That Word given to us from God by the Holy Spirit.
John 6: Jesus says:
37 All that the Father giveth ME shall come to ME; and him that cometh to ME I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do MINE own will, but the will of HIM that sent ME.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent ME, that of all which HE hath given ME I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of HIM that sent ME, that every one which seeth the Son (The Word), and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus says:
John 10
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.
29 My Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand. (no man and no spirit)
30 I and MY Father are one.

John 6 Jesus says:
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of (by) God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of (from) the Father, cometh unto ME.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save HE which is of God, HE hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on ME (on the Word) hath everlasting life.

John 6 Jesus says:
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is MY flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
54 Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For MY flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME (The Word), even he shall live by ME.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of This Bread shall live for ever.
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 14:6 Jesus says: I (The Word) am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.
(Only by Jesus, The Word, do we come to God, the Creator of heaven and earth.)
Jesus speaks to us directly from heaven by HIS Spirit and we are born again, given a new heart and a new Spirit, so we are now able to follow HIM.
Ephesians 1:13 In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
