Abide in HIM ...
If we are born again, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God lives in us to show us the way of God as we go through this life. The Holy Spirit gives us the Word that pertains to the issue at hand. Live in that word. We set everything aside to do that word given us by the Spirit of God. We show love toward God and love toward the people of God by doing that word given us by the Spirit of God. Continue in that word, abiding in that which God shows you.
The world goes a different way. The world loves itself. The world loves the way of the flesh and the pride of this life. All these things can seem important but they all pass away and that which remains forever, through all eternity, is the Word of God. Choose that way, thus choosing to abide in HIM.
