Knowing Bible spares us from so much trouble

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently a woman who attends a church in Lubbock was very upset over something where people were displaying bad acts.

I told her the Bible says people will get worse and worse, not better.

II Tim. 3 ... 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

She did not want to hear this.  Though she attends a church group, she has never displayed that she believes the Bible.  I realized she did not want to believe what Paul says about the days ahead.  She just wants people to make things get better.

We who understand know things will not get better for the Bible tells us they will get worse.

I rejoice because by the Bible we know the end so we won't fret ourselves when we see things on this earth getting worse. I no longer try to make people change but rather I speak so that people who really are of God can be encouraged in true things of God and walk out of evil.

And what did Paul tell us to do when we see the evil men and seducers at work ...

II Tim. 3 ...

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

A Baptist woman told me something really wonderful happened at church on Sunday ... I quietly listened, waiting for her to tell what happened ... Then she said, "I registered my grandchild to vote"  (She believes by politics things can get better.)

My Church of Christ cousin also thought things would get better if only a Republican came into office.

Many church people think this way.

We who are of God simply come to accept the truth of that spoken in Bible concerning the end times.  Things will get worse.  We don't try to stop the flood but rather we continue in the Word of God, doing those things HE teaches us as we walk on this earth, taking care of our own lives by the Word of God.

Things also get much worse in the churches as they depart from scripture, removing rules of the Bible to permit people to "be happy" ... But those people who try to "be happy" in the flesh will never achieve the type of happiness they seek.

Happiness comes as we submit to God and give up our way and honor the Bible as the inspired word of God, doing the will of God on this earth.  Then we cease fretting over how bad things are getting for we know it is ordained that this happen for this is what the Bible says will happen. We simply accept this and take care of ourselves, keeping ourselves by that which God shows us.  And we know there will be another heaven and earth, a new heaven and earth wherein dwelleth rightousness.  We trust in God to sustain us in this present wicked world.

Knowing the Bible frees us from false hopes.  We cease from struggling against the Bible.

Because of Bible, I know people will get worse and worse ... II Tim. 3

Because of Bible, I know churches will teach false doctrine ... "falling away" from scriptures ... This act allows antichrist (which is a spirit) to rule in the church groups. (II Thess. 2 & II Tim. 3)

I can't turn these evils.  I can walk away and keep myself by the Spirit of God and warn others so they, too, can walk away from the evils.  And I can live in peace even in the midst of the evils when I know the Bible shows this will happen.  I can avoid fighting against that which is ordained by God.

II Tim. 3 shows us what will happen ... and it also tells us what we are to do, sparing us and other individuals who believe.

I rejoice over this provision in the midst of trouble.
