* Removal of the elect of God from this present earth.

Comments by Joan Boney:

For many decades, churches have debated the subject of:  Will the church be removed before The Great Tribulation?

I believe that answer is in the following statement of Jesus.

Mt. 24:29-31   Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

These scriptures show us after the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven are shaken, we can expect to see the sign of the Son of Man in the clouds of heaven.

At that time the "elect of God" should expect to be removed from this earth by the angels of Jesus after the elect have been changed into their new physical bodies.

I Corinthians 15:49-53   And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(We will be changed into our new spiritual bodies very fast, "in the twinkling of an eye".  Blink.  That is how fast the elect of God will be changed into new spiritual bodies.)

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Basically:  When the sun goes dark in the day and fails to shine, look up for Jesus should be coming soon.

In the meantime, our instructions are as follows given by the apostle Peter.

2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And Jesus says:

Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
