Taking thoughts captive ...

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;  II Cor. 10

We do the above scripture by taking troublesome thoughts to God in prayer.  Often after we pray, God will remind us of a scripture to fight the troublesome thought.

We have a choice to believe ... We purpose to believe the scripture.

My God will supply all your need ... Phil. 4:19

The Lord is my shepherd.  I shall not want ... Psa. 23.

The important thing is to pray, taking the troubling thought to God in prayer.  And after you pray, if you are reminded of something, focus on that for it is the "antidote" to the poison of the troubling thought.  If you focus on the truth sent by God and choose to believe what God sent, you will overcome.  This is what is meant by the scripture in II Cor.10
