Word accomplished that which God wants

Isa 55 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Comments by Joan Boney ... The word of God goes forth and it accomplishes that which God wants ... sometimes the word turns a person to God ... other times the word sent by God turns the person away from God.

Those of us who carry the word of God never focus on "results".  We just deliver that word.

We may have idea the person will not receive that word.  But this does not stop us from delivering that word when we believe it is God who wants us to deliver that word.

As messengers of God, we are faithful to God, doing what we believe God wants us to do regardless of the consequences or results.

Several times as I have delivered messages, I have heard the following instruction from God:  "Justify yourself before ME."  (Meaning don't justify what you say to people.  Justify what you say before God.)

none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.  Daniel 12:10
