Deut. 26:11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing
which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto
thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is
among you.
While thinking about the things God has given me, I was reminded of
the following:
We who have been born again have received the gift of salvation, of
eternal life, through the blood of Jesus Christ. We have not
received this gift because of what we have done, but because God
chose us ....
Ephesians 2:Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of
works, lest any man should boast.
We are the children of God and He is our Father ...
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage
again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
God has given us His Spirit, living in us, and working in us .....
1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the
things that are freely given to us of God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the
temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and
bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said
unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he
will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and
he will shew you things to come.
God called us out of darkness into His light. We no longer have to
walk in the darkness of sin and the ways of this world. By the
blood of Jesus Christ are sins are completely paid for, and we are
led by the Holy Spirit in ways of truth, in light, in ways of God.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were
not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not
obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
These are just a few of the many wonderful things God has given to
us, and are cause for continual rejoicing.
Phillipians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say,
Rejoice.
