Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Biblical solutions to today's problems.
First, do you have food and clothing for today? If so, and you answer yes, then many of the problems for today are solved already.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
I Tim 6

But if there is some other problem, Paul gives the solution in following instruction.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phil. 4:6
What is your specific request? Talk to God. What is your "request". What is it you want God to do? Go straight to heart of God. Pour out your own heart to God.
Then can you say and mean ... "Nevertheless not my will but THY will be done" ...

Another very important thing for us to do is the following:
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, Phil. 2
Most of us are taught from earliest childhood to achieve ... to try to be someone ... to rise above others ... to compete ...
However, these are ways of the flesh and are not ways of the Spirit of God. So as long as we go in these ways we will never reach "contentment" which is "great gain" ...
If you will give it all up and purpose daily to make yourself of no reputation among other humans and live where you are right now in a decent, honest, God fearing life you will be well on the way to contentment and godliness which is "great gain", greater than rubies and all the imagined riches of this life. As long as you strive for reputation among men you will be tormented by man and you will be a servant to man. If you are of God, you must put this aside and seek moment by moment to please God ... truly seek to do the will of God.
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance (debating, arguing), emulations (trying to outdo other people), wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Gal. 5
If you go in the way of the flesh you will have much torment on this earth and you will not overcome in the end. You cannot succeed this way. All you will end up doing is frustrating yourself. The way of God is the only way that works on this present earth and the way of God not only brings great reward now in this present life but in all eternity. But the way of God and the reward is not as the flesh rewards itself.
When I think of rich or famous dead persons, I often wonder where they are now that they are dead.
If you are dead with Christ, you live with HIM. We die with Christ so we no longer have to serve the flesh as we once did. So we set aside all those things the flesh works so hard to get and we go in a totally different way on this earth.
Several years ago, I heard: "One step at a time ... it is enough."
That first step is to consider all the things spoken in this writing and select that first step to take which will put you into the path of God ... Of course, pray, asking God to help you to see. If you belong to HIM, HE will.
God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Gal. 6
Set aside all personal achievements (glory) ... make deliberate attempt to set personal achievements aside ... It will help change your life on this earth.
If you have problems with children, then you should understand the problems God has with you. (Work on yourself first and when you are truly seeking the will of God and obeying HIM, everything else will eventually fall in line.)
