When you are really of God, the Holy Spirit teaches you.
The anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. I Jn. 2:27
You can be living on the remotest part of the globe today and the same Spirit that is in me is in you and that Spirit is teaching you just as it is teaching me so when you hear me speak, you recognize what I am saying because the Spirit of God has taught you.
Years ago, I had the following dream ... We were at war. Everyone was dressed alike so it was difficult to recognize the enemy. God gave us a "password" so when we spoke, those who were in our army recognized what we were saying.
Many dress like sheep, saying the appropriate things, but always a little off ... "You will know them by their fruits ..." When that "sheep" bites you and punctures you and speaks things that poison you, know to withdraw from that "sheep" ... something is very wrong when this happens. Just get away from such. You will never be able to bring this person to God. Your many corrections will not be heeded. You just have to flee.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
