Sign of the end times ...

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The first sign of the end times stated by Jesus is the following:  Many will come saying "Jesus is Lord" and they will deceive many.

Over and over, we see this today.  Ministers come saying "Jesus is Lord" while preaching things deceptive and using various fleshly techniques to get money from those who hear them.

Recently I read an article about Robert Tilton (Wikipedia internet encyclopedia)  When he was at the peak of his career in "ministry" he took in 80-million-dollars a year as a result of his TV broadcasts.  The Dallas Morning News reported that more than 80% of the broadcast time was used in fund raising.  Another source reported that 68% of the broadcast time that they viewed was used in fund raising.  He had several banks. Prayer request mail was forwarded unopened to his various banks where bank employees removed the money from envelopes and deposited the money.  The prayer requests were thrown into the trash and deposited in dumpsters.

I receive several emails a month from "pastors".  Most of them start out the letter praising the writings we are doing.  Then they invite me to visit their churches.  Then they begin listing their various works and asking for money to support these works.  (See writing ... "When minister asks you for money" ... 6-1-12)

In the Bible, there is no example of a minister asking the people for money to pay for a work.  What these "ministers" are doing today is fund raising by the flesh of man.  When God authors the work, the needs are met an entirely different way.  (See writing ..."When God pays for the work ..."  6-5-12)

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I
(Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mt. 24

Recently a "pastor" wrote me saying they have no food.  But they have internet.  Deception.

By their fruits you know them.  When their works are of the flesh they are trying to get something you can see with your natural eye (flesh) .  They are trying to build a building and they want you to give money.  They say they don't have food and want you to send money.  They are trying to care for orphans and want you to send money.  They need Bibles and want you to send money.  These "ministers" don't seem to know the scripture:  My God shall supply all your need.  Phil. 4:19 ... They see the flesh (other humans) as providing all their need and they set about getting humans to provide their need by giving money to them.

They minister to the flesh ... buildings, food, orphans, Bibles ... all things you can see with your natural eye (flesh) and things that touch the emotions of other humans... but when they want money from you they are doing an ungodly act which is not set forth in the Bible.  No minister in the Bible asked people to give money to pay for the work.  There is no example of such in the Bible.

Ministers of the Spirit come to you ministering to the spirit in you.  They are not wanting to get something from you.  They are giving to you so that you can be established in the faith.  These are the real ministers of God and I find few of them today and many of the fleshly ministers today.

Here is what the Bible says the "reason" for the ministers of God is:  (after Jesus arose) ...  He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:   14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:  16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.  Eph. 4

None of this has to do with flesh ... It is all ministering to the spirit inside man.

So they come saying "Jesus is Lord" and asking you to give money while displaying all kinds of "good" but fleshly works ... This is what Jesus said is the first sign of the end times.  And Jesus said "many" would come doing this.

---------------------

Another sign of the end times ... Jesus said iniquity would abound around us ...  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  Mt. 24

The apostle Paul said "perilous" times would come at the end and these perilous times would come through those who have a "form of godliness" ...through the church itself.

We will see this in the congregations:  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  II Tim. 3

And antichrist will come through the churches:  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away   (church groups will fall away from scripture and support doctrines contrary to scripture)  first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. II Thess. 2

And Jesus said things would get so bad in the end that unless the days were shortened even the elect would perish ... And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Mt. 24

How will things get so bad?  I think God has allowed me to view a preview of how things will get so bad that even the elect would perish if those days are not shortened.

When I hear over and over from corrupt "pastors" who just see me as fresh meat and are predators and want money and even try to deceive me into thinking they delight in these internet writings when I am persuaded they don't even read them (for if they really read what I write they would not say to me what they delight in saying in their emails), when this happens over and over, if I don't watch it I could be hardened.  Through prayer I keep myself from being destroyed by them.

A few days ago, I watched a documentary of the destruction of the World Trade Center in NYC in 2001.  A newscaster was describing a woman trapped on one of the top floors.  The newsman said, "She stood there on the ledge with the raging fire below her.  Then she "blessed" herself.  (I think he meant she crossed herself the way Catholics do.)  Then she jumped to her death.

The only way we as humans can "bless" ourselves is by doing the word of God and giving up our own way of our flesh as we live on this earth.

In the end times, people will be destroyed in peace as they agree with the flesh of man and approve that which fleshly men are doing.
